You only learn about a company when things go wrong I would not recommend Tefal. Ordered Air fryer. Told delivery would be 30th, no delivery - courier had cheek to say delivery attempted, despite me sitting in all day waiting, then second day 2nd Dec, no delivery, then third delivery 3rd, again no delivery. Complained to Tefal and asked to cancel and refund so I can go elsewhere. Their reply? I would have to wait until item returned undamaged? Why? If it is damaged it wouldn't be by me, why not just give the refund so I can go elsewhere. Despicable customer care. Will probably be waiting weeks for refund, assuming I get one - what if the courier returns it damaged or says it is lost? Might explain why they didn't attempt delivery. Suppose Tefal thinks it reasonable that the customer should pay. Bear this in mind before ordering from Tefal. Sopped with the site before with no problem, but not again. Note they have changed courier since previous purchases, no doubt to save a few pence, but big mistake if they lose previously loyal returning customers. I would advise to avoid, as I said you only learn about a company when something goes wrong.

Tefal air fryer has nearly set my house on fire 🔥 We came down in the morning to the smell if burning, we could not locate where the burning was coming from as everything was turned off. When we arrived home later on, we noticed that the air fryer had melted. We sent it back to Tefal who have said that they think that we had it too close to a heat source! The air fryer was situated next to the sink and a toaster that was a fair bit away. There is no heat source near the air fryer, so thier allegations are in correct. They have offered us discount on a new product which we have refused. At the end of the day, this is very serious and put our lives in danger as this could of set the house on fire. The fact that they will not take responsibility for the fault is worrying as how many of these faulty products are out there?

Bought a redspot induction compatible frying pan, it worked good, the nonstick is good, followed the cleaning Regine's, never overheated it, the metal spreader plate on the bottom has come away, Tefals customer complaints, doesn't work, won't send messages with or without photos, save yourself the grief, buy some cheap unbranded thing from T K Maxx for a tenner and bin it after 2 years, as you'll be binning the very expensive Tefal one anyway and probably sooner...

I purchased an iron from tefal for £300, the actual iron kept slipping when on ironing board as wire kept getting caught....Really isn't long enough. The iron fell off ironing board !!! The stand broke off when I rang tefal the response I got was that tefal rigoursly test the iron so this wasn't covered!! BUT they offered me 50% off another iron BUT had to be through their website which is at least 25% more expensive, I purchased another iron for £215, when it arrived it didn't steam like it should !!! So they told me they would get it collected by dpd so off it went on 15.03.22 apparently it had to go back to warehouse and be checked that it was all intact...... then another iron would be sent out to me,on 21.03.22 I asked how much longer it was going to take they told me a new iron had been sent and I should have it by 25.03.22 so this morning 25.03.22 I asked what was going on as I had a message from royal mail saying it had been posted on 24.03.22 !!! To say I'm not happy is an understatement so 2 weeks with no iron and complete LIES from customer services, I asked for a senior member of staff to ring me which they did at 16.56 on 25.03.22 I missed the call so now have to wait till Monday. The new irons are very flimsy and I will be totally fed up if this iron doesn't work as they say it should.

When is a wok not a wok? When it's a Tefal Wok! We purchased a Tefal Wok from a well-known online store in March 2020 and it has been used approx 3 times a week, cleaned and cared for properly. About 1 month ago food started sticking and the non-stick coating has disappeared. When our Wok developed this fault I emailed Tefal, included photographs of the offending item, my invoice and an expectation that they would promptly send me a replacement under their much trumpeted lifetime guarantee. I was in for a nasty surprise. When you look at the wikipedia definition of a Wok it talks a lot about cooking over a high heat, quickly cooking whatever you have in there, so retaining the taste and texture. The problem is, that according to Tefal, you must not cook anything in your Wok at a high heat because that will burn their non-stick coating, rendering it basically useless, as well as making their guarantee about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. Tefal are not budging on this. They seem to be happy with sending cut and paste replies - it took me 3 emails for them to actually send a personalised reply and admit that this wok did actually have a lifetime guarantee (but only if the non-stick coating blisters or peels). Tefal Customer Service score = a bit fat ZERO. It's like buying a kettle which you can't boil water in! I have come to the conclusion that a) I will never buy a Tefal Wok again, and b) you may as well buy a cheap supermarket Wok, rather than spend loads of money on Tefal woks, and just buy a replacement once a year. Tefal Woks - Fit for Purpose? Make up your own mind!

Sent back a frying pan under the " 10 year warranty" as the non stick was coming off and the pan base had distorted. Tefal refused to replace it stating that it had been overheated and not washed properly. Non of this is true. Its a pan that you heat up for gods sake. Washed in warm soapy water after it had cooled. 10 year warranty is worthless. Just a sales patter. DON'T BUY. They won't honour anything. I wouldn't leave any stars at all but minimum is one.

Bought a Tefal appliance as a "10 year repairable product" but Tefal won't sell me the spares I need to fix it. Absolutely appalling customer service as they ended up just ignoring my emails. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with - make no attempt to help resolve problem and don't seem to care. Emails to their UK CEO - Mr W Yates - were also totally ignored, which gives some insight into where their priorities lie and they certainly don't include the customer.

The fryer came on Tatty box, unaware if has been used or returned before , but the packing was like new inside, mean has packed as new everything, read the instructions before use it and understand about the reset button on the back, We'll the fryer never got ON sound liked the reset button on the back was damage, loose but didn't work and for that reason didn't work.. cannot find any sticker of QC on the fryer mean may that not pass the Quality Control from China Manufacture, because this is responsibility of Tefal check everytime deliver in working order decided returned and get refund, I will prefer buy an item pass the QC instead waste the time on Chinese made

Far from Perfect I have a Tefal perfectmix X and the drive wheel has stripped as it has a mid steel thread in the drive wheel and stainless on the the blade end. so you would think you could buy a new one. NO they don't sell that bit and I have sent two emails to Tefal and had no reply. So I would look for a different make !!!!!

Ingenio removable pan handle broke after 2 years, so claimed against the so called "10 year warranty". Was told the handle had appeared to have had direct contact with gas heat so they would not honour the warranty. Funny that, can't imagine how a pan handle would be anywhere near heat. Anyway, offered a goodwill gesture of 25% off a new one, if purchased at their own store "Home & Cook", which is oddly at least 25% more expensive that elsewhere. Glad they consider losing a customer is worth it for a £15 pan handle. Some companies never learn.....

I bought a Tefal XL Optigrill in July 2018 and arrived in August 2018. It was used once per week at most, and more often more like once per month. In July 2020 the machine started belting out smoke every time it was turned on. Everything was taken apart, cleaned of grease (not that there was much there) and put back together, but the smoke continued. In August I got round to contacting Tefal. TWO months later they got back to me. At that point the item was in the local recycling centre. My wife (who is the only one who feels the need to have this item in our home) asked me to order a new one. I then received communication from Tefal looking for the receipts...which I sent to them. Shockingly, they said they could do nothing about it as the warranty exceeded the two years by one week (from when I received it to when I contacted Tefal). They offered for me to post it to a local maintenance centre (on my own dime, which would have cost £30 one way, as the nearest maintenance centre is 300 miles away, in what is 'technically' a different country). I advised that this was ridiculous, as I'd have to pay for the return post of another £30+ and the cost of parts and repair) and the fact it took them TWO MONTHS to get back to me, meant that I no longer had the appliance anyway!! I was and still am irate about their petty decision that one week outside the warranty nullified it. I'm also irate about how long it took for anyone to communicate with me. To add insult to injury, they offered me 25% off any other item should I buy a Tefal appliance. I will only ever buy an appliance from any other manufacturer in the future!! Shame on you Tefal...shame on you!!!

Tefal's UK Operation is being run by fraudsters. Tefal has AWFUL customer service, they treat customers appallingly, they simply do NOT care. Fact. It took Tefal OVER 2 MONTHS (!) to reply to a simple query under their "guarantee". And when they eventually replied, they said, and I quote: "Our guarantee does not cover non-stick sticking as this can be a sign of over-heating of the frying pan." Seriously!?!?! I know, it's shocking! SO everyone.....Tefal's non-stick pans are guaranteed against something (I don't know what exactly!) but NOT faulty non-stick coating!!! It's utterly shameful and misleading to advertise any guarantee if this is the case. And to make things worse, Tefal's reply from a "Customer Relations Advisor" which showed the Tefal guarantee to be worthless, suggested I could purchase a replacement product! Yes Tefal, good idea, anger customers and then tell them to buy more. Good idea. If you can buy anything except Tefal.

No ownership or responsibility for underlying issues, felt like they implied I was making something out of nothing when the stated 11 days for delivery turned into 20 before the wrong item was delivered, have to wait another 14 days, which will probably be longer, so the 11 days turns into 34+ days, abysmal customer service, actually lied to me about delivery, and no responsibility take, I will not be buying any of their products in the future, I'm not going through this rubbish again..

I brought a cherry red Loft toaster....the Toaster is sold with tefal knowing full well that this toaster does not toast a full slice of bread . It's a very expensive toaster which I purchased with a matching kettle , I spent over a £100 on the set. I have 3 young daughters so need a good safe toaster that I can stick toast in and go back to getting them ready for school and then prepare brekkie when toaster pops ...HOWEVER the toaster leaves a quarter of the toast out ...I have pictures and a video. it does not toast a standard size piece of bread ...we use 50/50 best of both .... when I contacted tefal, I was told that yes this is just how we designed our toasters that they are small, I asked why would you sell a toaster that does not do a full slice and not make customers aware, to be told maybe I should watch toast cook and time it so that I can turn toast upside down to get a full slice toasted !!!!! SO WHATS THE POINT OF BUYING A TOASTER MIGHT ASWELL GO BACK TO 80S AND USE THE GRILL. My concerns have been raised with tefal customer services with a lady called bela complaints ref / Case reference 00525487 [ ref:_00Db0Hsol._5000X1h88PX:ref ] I cannot believe that I have been told to accept that tefal know that it does not toast a full slice but they still selling these toasters ...the calls are recorded so the lovely Bela can be heard telling me that tefal are selling goods that they know do not toast correctly and that I should just take it back to currys where I purchased It and see if they will swap it .... when I asked for that in writing she refuses to do so .
