“I purchased tickets from Viagogo for a Billie Eilish concert for Oct 08, 2019, on Oct 05, 2019. Did NOT received my tickets even though I got a e-mail and it said that my tickets were transferred from this JAKE, to accept or refuse the tickets. WHOEVER this JAKE is, I accepted the tickets from this JAKE, but my tickets were never transferred to my account where I could receive them, total rip-off!!! BEWARE OF THIS JAKE! Probably a made up name! I had to purchase some more tickets from somewhere else where we could go to the concert! Mind-you, the tickets were still not available on the day of the concert Oct 08!!! I have been on the phone with customer service so many times and get the same go-around about getting my refund for the tickets that I did not get! They got the required documents, showing the required evidence that I did not get the tickets and where it showed in the account at Ticketmaster, it showed there were no purchases made! Viagogo has the evidence, but everyone that I talk to, tells me the same thing, that it has been sent to another department and I would be receiving a phone call from them, NO RETURN CALL TO DATE!!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!!! DON'T BUY ANYTHING through this place unless you want to be SCAMMED out of your MONEY!!!! I gave them a rating of one , but would have given them a 0 if it was available! Total piece of S**T of a website!!! Very Mad and upset at myself! Should have checked them out first before purchasing! Will never happen AGAIN, learned my lesson the hard way. AGAIN, DON'T BUY FROM VIAGOGO!!!!!!!”
“Terrible company. Booked 4 tickets. Was only shown the single ticket price and never any totals so assumed £140.79 was for all for tickets. (Theatre face value was £45 per ticket). Thought I was getting a discount. Viagogo took £771 from my credit card for tickets worth £180 tops). This is the breakdown
Tickets Purchased: 4
Price per ticket: £140.79 (face value £45)
Ticket Cost: £563.16
Booking Fee: £165.62
Shipping Fee: £9.95
Buyer VAT: £33.13
Buyer Total: £771.86
Despite pleading and writing to Viagogo, Bank and Consumer watchdogs I was unable to get my money back. Stay away from this company please.”
“Rip off all the way.
Bad responses to any questions, they are completely disinterested in any complaint. They respond but with no meaning or solution.
Stay well clear.”
“If I could score a 0 I would!!!
Absolutely disgusting how this site treats its customers!
I bought tickets for 214 euro for 2 tickets, face value 67 euro.
I then relisted tickets to sell.
The gig sold out and I queried this with viagogo both by phone and email, they advised that it was showing on their screen that gig hasnt sold out and tickets were still available to sell. I had friends and family check the site also and the gig has sold out.
I am left now with tickets to sell myself at double the face value or I lose money.
I would never buy from this platform again nor would I recommend, stick to ticketmaster.”
“Do not use this company. Paid 300 a year ago for concert tickets only to get email last night one week before to say they can't be supplied. Disgusting.”
“If there was a 0 star I would give it; I bought champions league ticket match between Galatasaray vs PSG in Istanbul in the group stage. My main purpose of traveling was watching the match. I paid the airplanes and hotel reservation and transfer and was very excited to watch but at the stadium I was shocked when the ticket box office said to me and my friends that Viagogo is illegal in Turkey???!!! How come you sell tickets for a match in Turkey and they consider you illegal there. I called the website and told them the case and they said sorry no refund it's not our fault. Don't advise anyone to buy from them. I don't recommend this website”
“I'm annoyed I cant give it 0 stars. Please never use this website it gave me the wrong seats and charged me £200 more than what those in front and behind me paid. I understand it was a separate seller but I was totally mislead in how much the original tickets cost. Stick to AXS or Ticketmaster!”
“This is probably the first time I am writing a negative review but its just hard to believe what i went through with them.
I purchased a few tickets for a cricket match the previous day and was given a confirmation. despite this the tickets never arrived. i had a important client with me for this match and had committed. i kept calling the customer service who kept assuring me that tickets will come 'soon'. I requested for the tickets to be cancelled but they didn't do it either and elsewhere the prices just shot up. Can you believe it, I JUST DIDN'T GET THE TICKETS. Since it was business Guest i had committed, I was almost begging the customer service to do something in the night.
Is there any other consumer forum I could complain about this rogues.”
“If I could give them zero I would. PLEASE dont use them. I paid $128 for tickets, never received the tickets. Called three times, emailed four times. I ended up buy additional tickets at the venue. They refused to give refunds. Beware!!!”
“Fake tickets issued for the last show of Bob Seger Tacoma Dome. birthday present for my wife. Upon access to the venue the event staff scanned tickets to tell me "not valid", made several other access point attempts to find the same story. This company will be persued by legal matters. bad bad bad!”
“Total scam!!!! DO NOT BUY EVENT TICKETS!!!!! 2 x Russel Howard tickets paid £180 turns out the cost of the tickets were £72.60....... When I called to compain I was told it was in the small print that they can charge what they like for the tickets as they are a third party ticket seller.Moral of this story only buy from Ticketmaster!!!”
“Would never use again... money grabbers!
They sold me tickets they didn’t have at the frontline , then 5 days before the gig, provided me with the worst tickets at the back of the venue.
Offered a voucher 🤷🏻♂️ As if I’m going to use them again 😂”
“I gave these charlatans one star as I could not give them none. Even no stars is more than they deserve. This company should have been closed down years ago and it’s shyster of a director thrown in jail. They are basically on-line ticket touts - avoid they will rip you off.”
“Viagogo is a major scam. Check reviews online and buy somewhere else. Otherwise you will get robbed.
First, Viagogo lies about the availability of tickets. They say you are buying the last tickets available, but it’s a lie (there were many other empty seats at the show). Second, they don’t give you the tickets for the seats you bought online, but way worse. I paid 152 British Pounds to buy two floor tickets to see Eels in London. But we found ourselves way out there on the second balcony where two tickets were worth a maximum of 85 British Pounds.
Very disappointing! I would never buy from them again.”
“Via NO NO!
Booked tickets using Viagogo at a cost of £133.34. I contacted the venue for further details and was informed that the ticket was not valid. I contacted Viagogo who refused to issue me with a valid ticket or refund my costs. I now have to tell my daughter that we have been ripped off and that she has no birthday present. Take my advice and avoid this company. Word of warning i thought i was booking through the official venue site but somehow i was taken on a link to viagogo. Just been in touch with citizens advice bureau to pursue legal action”
“I was in the process of ordering tickets for the Ozzy/Megadeath show. When I got to the payment page, I noticed that the processing fee was $70. This was after I had filled in my credit card info. I changed my mind and decided that I would buy my tickets from different vendor, and closed out the page before proceeding to the last step. Later on when I checked my email, I was surprised to see an email from Viagogo with the tickets. The sale had gone through even though I opted out before committing to buy. I contacted them and they said that there was nothing they could do and I could try reselling them on their site. So now I have my tickets listed with them, hoping that they will sell. I will never use Viagogo again.”
“I made the mistake of not seeing the reviews prior to using Viagogo. Sold four tickets worth a total of $2000 on their website.
They claimed the tickets weren't valid, and not only refused to pay me, but also charged my credit card an additional $650.
Would not recommend ever using this site.”
