Avoid at all costs! They hit you with enormous booking fees at the end of your purchase, then when you opt out, they still put your sale through. The make themselves totally invisible so that you cannot contact them. When you finally get an email reply, they say "too bad, we don't give refunds, you can sell your ticket back to us and lose another £50 into the bargain". Disgusting people.

WARNING - Do not deal with Viagogo in any way. I purchased a ticket for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, to see my 13 year old daughter play; two weeks later having still not received the ticket or a row and seat number, I was in receipt of a string of excuses as to why the ticket was not sent when they took my money - including that the seller didn't even yet have a ticket to send to me. Despite this, they still refused to refund the money I paid for my ticket. Viagogo said that event organisers only released tickets close to the event (Not True) and said I would receive the ticket to my home address (courier delivery) no later than three days before the event. Then, without any consultation whatsoever, they told me I would have to collect my ticket from a Hotel in Grassmarket on the evening of the event. Viagogo have provided me with a tiny time slot for me to collect my ticket, only 45 minutes before the doors to the event opens and 75 minutes before guests have to be seated for the start of the Tattoo! I was told the ticket would not be available any earlier for security reasons - what utter rubbish. I expressed my concern and my request for a refund was refused. However, they suggested I resell the ticket on their site - the ticket which I have not received, because the seller does not have it to send to me. I am absolutely speechless. I will be taking my complaint much, much further and would urge others to escalate their complaints also. Two work colleagues recently received Tattoo tickets, not ordered via Viagogo, and they received them within three days of ordering. Viagogo are not being very truthful. I would not recommend Viagogo to anyone, the very fact that Viagogo knew the seller did not have the ticket to send to me, should have been enough for them to refund me forthwith and I am utterly horrified that they suggested that I relist the ticket on their site, despite the fact they knew I did not have the ticket to sell, and despite the fact they knew the seller did not have it to give to me. An utter disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

Viagogo is a reliable website to buy and sell tickets. The process is very simple and they provide clear instructions every step of the way. My only slight issue was it is impossible to call someone if you need help. Every link in the website just takes you to other on-line forms. Bit frustrating, however my ticket purchase and sale went through fine.

Sold fake weekend camping tickets for Boardmasters 2017 to my son who was refused entry at the gate. Although they refunded tickets cost that's not good enough when you've spent good money and 9 hours on a bus to get to the event. Being left with no where to stay overnight and the event sold out, they've landed my son right in the proverbial, out of pocket and no option but to get the bus back home. Caution: Don't buy tickets from VIAGOGO unless you're happy to take the risk of buying fake tickets and all the extra hassle and cost that might entail...

So annoyed with myself for not checking reviews before I booked with this rip off company. As with others I have paid double for face value tickets and then they have the audacity to add on booking fees on top AFTER you have submitted all your card details. I will NEVER use this company again.

A family member bought 3 tickets for us to see the Open golf practice day 16th July 2017. She payed £113.35 for the three tickets with a face value of £10 each back in October 2016. Keep away from these RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!!

Warning to all potential users of the viagogo website. I purchased 2 tickets to the U2 London Joshua Tree a2017 tour concert in February. I paid 430 pounds for the two tickets, only to find out that the face value of the tickets upon arriving was 40 pounds each. I thus strongly advise everybody to avoid the viagogo website at all costs, as the prices there are a scam on the buyers. Viagogo intentionally tries to deceive you into buying tickets far above their face value, making it seem that they are no longer available elsewhere. Make sure to check the prices elsewhere.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had: 1. purchased premium tickets, and Viagogo accidentally reserved standard tickets 2. we were offered 2 options, either a refund or replacement premium tickets and promised to be called so we could confirm out decision. We weren't called. 3. we tried calling them and were in the queue for 50 minutes 4. when we called the next day we were told that there was no issue with the tickets and there was no record we were offered a refund 5. I go to collect me tickets from the allotted time and was told I had to return 3 hours later because the tickets had in fact been REISSUED so they were being delivered in the second batch (bear in mind I was at work so couldn't take 2 hours out to travel back and forth, and resolve it) 6. they told us that instead of refunding our tickets they would list them on their site at which point there was only 4 hours to go until the event 7. unsurprisingly the tickets didn't sell at such short a notice and it was too late to pick them up even if I could get out of work again 8. I contacted the customer services AGAIN and was told it couldn't be offered because we listed the tickets and it wasn't their fault my tickets didn't sell so they couldn't offer a refund, and they couldn't see how they had messed up at any point during the transaction. I made it very clear that they told us to list the tickets and we wanted the refund to begin with! Working for an Ad Agency for art and live performance, working alongside ticketing agencies such as this, I would NEVER affiliate myself with them! I am beyond livid, and am not going to accept losing out £250. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN and will make sure to let everyone know!

My tickets were sold on the Friday and the concert was on the Wednesday. I had no way of posting the tickets on that very day and advised viagogo that the tickets had been sent when I received an email on saturday warning me that I hadnt dispatched my tickets yet. I posted the tickets first thing on Monday for next day delivery and beared the costs (not using their free UPS service) only to then be emailed advising they had cancelled my sale!!!!! The buyer has now received their free tickets and I am without my money. Viagogo are not responding and there is no way of getting through to a human. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Like so many others, I have had a terrible experience with Viagogo and would recommend anyone reading this review to avoid them at all costs. I was persuaded to use the company by the promise of a bargain ticket for the Download Festival, which I paid for just over 3 weeks before the event. Everything seemed fine at first... the transaction went through without a problem and I received a confirmation email advising me that my ticket would be available for download no later than 3 days before the event, but this turned out not to be true. 2 days before the event I still hadn't heard anything and decided to contact them to to find out what was going on. Unfortunately, this turned out to be easier said than done, as there are no contact details given on their website whatsoever (try and find them if you don't believe me). In the end I gave up on the idea, hoping that I would hear from them the following day, which indeed, I did in the form of a second purchase confirmation identical to the first one, but with a new order number., No explanation was given, but I deduced that something had gone wrong with the original order, so they had sourced a replacement ticket. The ticket itself failed to materialize, however, and as the festival was less than 24 hours away, I realised I was going to have to speak to them no matter what. After wading through various forums on the internet and trying a number of different contact numbers, I managed to find one that worked. I was then subjected to about 25 minutes of grating hold music, before finally managing to speak to someone. To my relief, the ticket was then made available to me. Except that when I arrived at the festival, I was told by the staff on the gate it was void because the original purchaser had obtained a refund. Cue another phone call to Viagogo and more of the terrible music. Then the real farce began... someone in the event box office kindly agreed to speak to Viagogo on my behalf and was given numbers for at least 5 other tickets, all of which were just as useless as the first one. I then demanded a refund and purchased a ticket at the box office, but it didn't end there. The email I received confirming my money would be refunded stated that this could take up to 10 days. In the circumstances I felt this was completely unacceptable and phoned them up to have a little discussion about it (as well as to query why I had received another email on the final day of the festival advising me my tickets were ready for download). Their answer was that 10 days is how long a money transfer takes, which is strange, as the transfers I have made usually clear the same day. There are plenty more criticisms I can level at this pathetic excuse for a company, but it's late and I'm tired, so they can wait for another day. In the meantime, let me just reiterate that you use them at your peril.

Viagogo - Avoid this company like the plague. I bought tickets from Viagogo for a Bob Dylan concert recently, found I had paid double the price for the tickets and together with the exorbitant hidden fees feel very RIPPED OFF .Their Customer Service is laughable as having received the wrong tickets, I spent over a week of my time and money on emails and phone calls to try to rectify it. Ignored my emails and most of their phone lines are automated so you can't speak to a real person. Learnt my lesson, they are greedy and surprised they are still in business, avoid them at all costs.

I have purchased 2 tickets for a reasonable price and were told AFTER I confirmed the payment that they added a lot of additional cost for shipping, handling, taxes etc. which I did not agree to pay. Contacted them twice, tried to cancel my order but they refused with silly arguments. I AM DISAPPOINTED and feel ripped off!!! I recommend to book somewhere else where they don´t completely ignore customers satisfaction!
