I Had a great experience booking for my wedding night through South African Hotels website. I would recommend it to others as the hotel of my choice have them in their books and trusts them. I called the hotel directly to when I did my due diligence. Keep up the good work. Lily

Im very disappointed because i booked and i was not told that i must arrive at the gate at 4pm.i was told gates closes at 6pm which i have arrived at 5.30pm.the voucher was talking about the check in and the check out thats all

I received fast efficient service - the resort we wanted was fully booked for the dates we chose , but you were able to find us accommodation a short while later . All the communication , credit card payment etc was done smoothly and efficiently without any hiccups. I will certainly use you again for my next holiday. Many thanks Trevor Hodgson.

Our reservation at Casa do Sol was handled every efficiently, initially on line and then through communications via email. There were no problems with the payment of our deposit received, and we were given a reminder for the balance due at the appropriate time. There was only one reservation number given for the booking, and when I contacted the establishment (to confirm that one of the suites should be on ground level), they could not locate the booking due to the fact that there were two reservation numbers allocated to our booking. However, your reservations team quickly rectified the situation and gave us the second reservations number. We were very happy with the service provided by South African Hotels. We chose Hanglip Mountain Lodge at Entabeni for our one year wedding anniversary. The service was of utmost excellence. From arrival to departure, we were made to feel like valued guests by all the staff, as we experienced absolute luxury. A special thank you to Thapelo, our ranger, whose knowledge of the wildlife and unique style made our stay unforgettable.

I had only a reservation to make from the UK. Your people handled it very efficiently and I liked the assured credit card procedure. Indeed you had the card rejected because I had inserted the wrong date! You courteously pointed out the problem and represented the card subsequently advising me and sending an invoice. Your company name is excellent for it gives a feeling of national as opposed to an individual company. I look forward to staying with you next month. Sir Robin Duthie

There were many things I was happy with and one that I was unhappy with! Firstly the ease of booking and the speed of confirmation was very good. However the only displaying net to me was my confirmation letter was totally covered by the South African hotels logo's - I had to copy and paste and save on to my desk top so I could easily read the document. Last year (2015), my wife and I decided to arrange our own safari vacations in South Africa. We looked at many venues and agents on-line and came across the South African Tourism Company at www.south-african-hotels.com , when looking at accommodation at Lakeside Lodge in the Entebeni Conservancy . We were very pleased that we did. Their assistance (through Katie Harper especially) enabled our booking to go very smoothly despite several requests, by us, for changes in our arrival/departure arrangements. SATC were the only company we dealt with that enabled direct payments to be made easily from the UK. We would definitely recommend them to others and they would be the first company we would look at for any future visit to South Africa

The payment is made without any transparency and the quote is not made with regards to customer messages : - I discovered by surprised that the full cost of the stay was retrieved from my credit car, hence I received an invoice... while before I ve been asked only for a deposit of 15% - I mentionned that we were 3 with a child, and the quote did not take into account. When I made the declaration of family, I ve been requested an extra charge. All these practises show greater interest on money generation rather than customer care.
