highest commission for ppc in the county and to make it worse I found out they build the ppc google adword campaigns in India. Do not use them for your PPC advertising, do some research and not just on review websites as these often give the wrong impression

I was miss sold an advert which costs me £115 per month and was told I would be guaranteed 2 calls per week and after 6 weeks I have received no calls and they had the cheek to ask me for £900 to cancel this, would never use yell again!!!

Have been trying to contact after them making appointments by phone and me sitting waiting and waiting.. Tried to cancel but they signed for a year. I wasn't aware that I had actually signed anything especially not a year. They said £20 and somehow that escalated to £70 which is no way what I can afford for a small business. I have asked for details of their legal department so I can sue for fraud but they refuse to give me them. They are now sending debt collectors. I have all the emails which can go to the debt collectors which show that I have been trying to resolve this through the courts. Please do not be misled by these people I am now on anti depressants. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was misled into the contract and received just TWO calls during the year I was with them and very few clicks (612 impressions and about 21 clicks). Their advertising does not reach anyone. To make it worse, the cancellation procedure is a nightmare, I cancelled, then the CONTINUED to bill me, resetting the direct debit (probably illegally) so that they could take payment again. These people are fraudsters. Avoid at all costs.

The contract was on automatic renewal. When I stopped the Direct Debit after 12 months. They sent Debt collectors and harassed me. Went downhill after HIBU bought Yell.

Yell tell you everything to get you signed up like “we are number 1”. “We will get you noticed online”. Yet if you read the T and Cs. They cannot promise anything which is the total opposite to the sales pitch and if it doesn’t work you still have to pay anyway. I have been waiting for over a week for the investigation team to listen to a call where I feel I was miss lead into not seeing the T and Cs until I had signed the dotted line which meant 1 hour after signing up and reading the term I wasn’t allowed to cancel due to no cooling off period.

Very disappointed with the quality of my Premium Plus website. Cost me a thousand pound and looks like it was written by a five year old. Asked who wrote it and the said a specialist team in India. That explains it.

I paid to go into the final yellow pages which was a 12 month contract. When the rep came round she told me that you get the online stuff as an added bonus, I said I didn't really want it as it doesn't work (nobody Googles Yell to find a trades-person) but she said it's included as part of the package for the year so I may as well have it and see if it works (it doesn't, not one call). On completing and making all 12 payments they now continue to take money and are now saying I needed to give a 1 months notice to cancel the online package. This is not something I was told in the meeting with their rep when she came round and I now feel completely scammed by her. Yell is a vile company full of parasites using deceitful underhanded sales tactics, I will advise everyone from now on to avoid like the plague.

This has got to be the worst company in the World to deal with. Sold me products that were not ready to be for sale. Messed up my listings. Tried to contact them know one EVER calls back. Now I have a court summons. What a absolute joke of a company. AVOID at all costs ;(

Horrendous be very careful what you sign up for. A complete waste of money they tie you into a rolling contract but don't explain this. Spend the money on Google and a good local web builder.

Slick sales patter but no service afterwards. Products are very expensive and poor quality made off-shore.

Do not use Yell missold, poor communication and rolling contracts that they never tell you about. Useless never did anything promised only used for no. Divert want to terminate after 5 years but tied in. Sent all correspondence to previous address after being told about change. Said were looking into my account never heard a thing until email sayingn pay within 5 days or debt collector will be informed after5 years as a customer.Use google adwords and a local website professional.

Rip off merchants. Ringing people telling them they need to buy a whole new website because their domain name isn’t ‘secure’. £30 for an SSL sertificate would do it, not a whole new website. Avoid at all costs. Just a sales company!
