Regarding: Your ('Trust' Pilot) review of www.YELL.com: Can you help? - Ticket #2568816 YELL(ow bellies) repeatedly removed my postings from their Business Reviews site pertaining 2 Munro & Noble, Solicitots & Estate Agents (M&N); ditto Chartered Surveyors, Allied, Souter, Jaffrey (ASJ) and/or Allied Scotland (AS). Both of whom were reported to the Scottish Law Society & Institute of Surveyors. {This whilst Product.Review.com, AU(stralia) & Rankers, N(ew) Z(ealand) also wouldn't post my review of Wicked Campers}... This is why Googles Reviews sites are best by far. No questions asked as they are not compromised by their Corporate Sponsors and/or Advertisers...'He who pays the piper calls the tune'?  Given this, how can any1 have any 'Trust' (in these clueless, far worse than useless, disingenuous) Pilot(s)?  As deplorable as is Trip Advisor...nothing short of criminal. But then they are as thick as thieves or may be I should say police officers, unCivil Servants & their ventriloquists. The politicians & their puppeteers, the corporatocracy & banksters. Muppets, 1 & all. Truly appalling & deplorable. Lamentably, whilst I could be seriously miskaken, how I wish.  All but Googles Reviews would appear to be predominently disingenuous. The others, notably those listed herein. Old British Proverb comes 2 mind...'He (their corporate Sponsor and/or Advertiser. {Like those blood soaked white robed, high priests of vivisection} Syndicated FRAUDSTERS. NB: Should you, reviews io, wish I'd be only 2 pleased 2 forward a scan of the belated documentary proof I had both YELL.com & Trust Pilot from M&N. This pertaining 2 their belated admission of gross dereliction of duty of care & responsibility having unduly rendered me homeless, but thanks 2 Google (maps) Reviews, (I hope & trust) every dog has its day? +447930698732 Vivisection.is.criminal @ gmail.com Sent from Samsung Mobile on O2

ABSOLUTELY AVOID, WILL DECEIVE YOU, NOT FOLLOW CORRECT TRADING STANDARDS AND CONSUMER LAWS, DO ANYTHING TO DECEIVE YOU, PURPOSELY IGNORE YOUR CANCELLATION REQUEST AND WHO WOULD NOT CANCEL AFTER BEING PROMISED THE EARTH AND THEN BEING DECEIVED, THIS COMPANY IS TANTAMOUNT TO SCAM. READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND TAKE NOTE THAT THE POSITIVE ONES ARE COAXED OUT OF CUSTOMERS AFTER THE LOVELY SALES SPEECHES ABD BEFORE THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS SO REALLY ARE NOT VALID. I WILL HOPEFULLY BE SEEING THIS COMPANY IN COURT AND IT WILL BE A VERY LONG CASE AS THEY ASSURE YOU THAT ALL VERBAL ASSURANCES AND PROMISES ARE RECORDED SO YOU ARE TOTALLY COVERED AND CAN WALK AWAY AT ANY TIME SHOULD YOU NOT RECEIVE WHAT IS DELIVERED, I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU READ ALL THE NEGATIVE RATINGS AND YOU WILL PICK UP POSITIVES BUT THEY MAINLY REFER TO THE LIES AND DECEIPT AND THEN THE SHOCK WILL HIT WHEN THEIR SERVICE AND CONS ARE UNCOVERED. A DISGRACE TO A HOUSEHOLD NAME AND WILL BE TAKING THIS TO DIRECTOR LEVEL AT HEAD OFFICE.

AVOID...Was sceptical about yell to begin with wss given a good sales pitch how it would benefit me and the conversions that would result in work comming my way,all my calls were recorded via an app which i would also suggest anybody to do so,2 month in and not a single call, website poorley designed by drag and drop somthing you could do yourself on a DIY Building site, their is no seo and the reputation package is a bad,its basically put you on facebook which anybody can do,dont belive the hype of anything else which is included as it all counts for nothing...you may see alot of good reviews here however this is achieved by yell asking you to review them the moment your site is built they get you so you like the look and are please then email constantly for you to review them bearing in mind this is before your service as been delivered which is to bring in telephone conversions/calls if anybody was to review after 3 months it would be a diffrent story so please dont give a review untill you see value for money in my case it never came the only calls i got was from my number being passed onto companies to get me to sign up to them for gas/elec i no this to be yell as it was the only address i put my buisness to with new number as other have also said, please please do your homework on Yell and see for yourself, you will get assigned a manager which are also useless as you cant get through,so far ive been waiting 4 weeks and nothing.

after a few times of being cold called I agreed to meet up with one of the sales reps. at this time I was using mybuilder to gain leads for jobs and it is vey good I was paying around £400 a month for them I know it sounds a lots but there was a lot of work coming from it. the sales rep said to me 'what if I can get you the same amount of leads for half the price, how does that sound' . so obviously I think that's great. then he feeds me a load of rubbish saying if I pick this, this and this to appear at the top of the lists it will be better for me. so with this and there 'rubbish' website they provided me it was nearly £250 a month on a 12 month contract. this was nearly 3 months ago when I signed up ive had 2 enquiries in that 3 month and nothing has come of it so now I have to pay out £650 a month for something I already had. I tried to cancel in the first few days of the contract after hearing bad things about them only be told that I cant its a business to business contract. im working for nothing the majority of the time now having to pay for this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

To start off, Yell got my details from a site I was registered into and they gave me a call to persuade me into buying the service they are providing. They were extremely pushy on the phone and would not let me go without sending a "marketing specialist" to personally convince me to buy their service. Eventually, I agreed to meet this "specialist". HE WAS 40 MINUTES LATE FOR THE FIRST MEETING, and he was also late for any other meeting that we had. At the time I was still doing my A-levels and I was young and naive, but I did sign their contract. This contract gives Yell's team NO INCENTIVE TO WORK. They give you no guarantee in the contract but the "marketing specialist" will promise you miracles just to make you sign the contract. ONCE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOUR BUSINESS but only call you each month for your payments. Just to let you know how bad their service was I will give you the following comparison- when we were running the business that yell was supposed to advertise to Facebook and Google they (verbally) promised us 50 sales per day but nothing was mentioned in the contract, as a result, they made us 6-8 sales per month, whereas before signing the contract when I was managing the Facebook adds personally I was making 12-20 sales per day. Not to mention, that they were promising 100% of their ads- that was a complete lie. To manage their ads you have to email them or call them and even if you fo they won't do any work because you signed a contract that gives them right to do whatever they want and they don't want to do anything. If despite my review you decide to work with them, read the contract really really carefully, show it to a lawyer and then negotiate about it but whatever you do DO NOT SIGN IT WITHOUT GIVING IT A GOOD 2 DAYS TO READ IT THOROUGHLY. Also, keep in mind that they will try to make you sign the contract electronically and god knows how they can manipulate your signature and put it everywhere, so MAKE SURE YOU ARE SIGNING EVERYTHING ON PAPER, that way they cannot fake it.

This company is the worst company in the UK. They are pretending they give you the best service in the UK but the Yell is belongs to the US and not working properly in the UK. They just have a contract for a year and they asking you to improve you details they don't do nothing for customers. Do not waste your time and money with this company tn the UK.

Very very bad service from yell. They are a very pushy company who use extremely aggressive sales techniques. They first are super friendly to entice you in and then once you’re paying they really don’t care too much. They had some software issues where I did actually get some enquiries and I couldn’t get back to those customers and they said they would have it up and running again in a few days time- not really good enough when you’re trying to run a business and of course I lost those potential customers. As soon as my 1 year subscription was done I cancelled as I asked all of my customers where they found me and out of around 50 people who were asked only 1 found me on yell. I have a small business so now my books are full anyway I thought I would let them know that I wished to cancel, they ignored my request for ages (about 2 months) and when I finally managed to cancel they proceeded to call my phone from different numbers about 2 or 3 times a day and when I did pick up they were very rude and scaremongering (Like saying I had to remain on their database otherwise I wouldn’t get any traffic through to my website) Don’t get yourself tangled in with Yell as it seems to be an ongoing nightmare.

Dishonest company and over charges ONLY if I can give the Yell the worse star I would. I started my contract with Yell hoping I get more clientele for my small business. Honestly I made a HUGE mistake going to yell. If you are trying to get more clientele please use Facebook or Instagram to promote your business do not tangle yourself with Yell. I have been with Yell 10 months now and I have to honestly say that no one looks at the page. I received my welcome package 7 months later. It's 1 year contract paying £95 for nothing. There are many other ways to promote your business with honest companies and a cheaper deals STAY RIGHT AWAY!

This is the worse service I have ever recieved. Do not go with yell website. They will charge you £120 per month for doing absolutely nothing.the website wasn't bringing any work. What a waste of one year time. I was told that I would keep the website and access it when ever I want. Also a frequent pushy sales from their sales team to try and make me spend more money on ad words.what a load of Rubbish I now cancelled my website with yell and i have to start all over again with a diferent website provider. Stay well away from these guys as they are just a bunch of Hustler's. Once you are tucked in there game, you wont be able to come out until you pay for the whole year without any result. Do not accept the monthly payment. There is a lot website companies that are willing to give up to one year domain and seo websites building for less and work effective then yell. I don't recommend yell to anyone that needs to start a new website. Baaaad experience.

Can you please explain to me why you insist on being an absolute shambles of a company?! Not once since I was a customer did I receive any sort of adequate service from you, being over the phone or your so called reps. So obviously cancelled my advertising, which I had to do twice!! And now over 2 months later your sending me threatening emails out of the blue demanding money, threatening debt recovery services and cancelling a product that is cancelled!! Sort this out as well as your company!

I am drafting this email tonight absolutely flabbergasted at the way I have been treated by your company tell.com. My story started over 3 years ago when I came on board with yell for advertising and the hosting of a website. I had a previous website with wix.com with domain name www.jmctelecom.com, I was advised by the yell web designer on what to do to transfer that domain to yell which I done. Les that a year later I was contacted by yell to say there was a problem with my website as the domain name had expired! I was surprised as was told at the beginning of my yell journey that yell would take care of everything. I was told it would be a short term problem and would just have to wait a week or 2 to reapply for the domain name and a short term solution was to keep the website going with a new domain name of www.jmctelecom.co.uk. The weeks went by and it turned out that we couldn’t get my original domain name as it was now too expensive! Bang went all my advertising, van signage ect, you can imagine the cost of lost business ect! More recently I continually complained about lack of business coming via yell.com, so much so I found myself cancelling direct debit and asking for my account to to cancelled down. I was persuaded by your customer service representatives to stay with yell, she set up calls with your website people who found problems with my site and I was assured it would be sorted out, Sher also arranged some free local advertising as a gesture of good will, I was continually bombarded with calls looking for payment for the 3 months were a held back payment as I have been paying for a service that I have not been receiving for over 3 years! I then received letter from your debt collection partners! I called yell to ask what it was about I was totally gobsmacked to be told that all my advertising and website was now cancelled! I’m now sitting here with no website whatsoever and thinking that I have been treated most unfairly. I’m contemplating seeking legal advice regarding my loss of business. I

Extortion comes to mind. I cancelled my contract in September and continued to make payments to fulfil the year's contract, which ended in January. I then cancelled the direct debit because I knew they were going to try and take money. They never cancelled the contract as agreed and continued to bill me. Each time they sent an email telling me that I owe money, I answered that email saying that I cancelled and paid in full. They did not stop and still continued to bill me for 3 months after. I finally called them and they threatened me with debt collection agencies and further steps. Now here's the kicker, this all might have been overlooked, but the fact is that these adverts do not work. Yell ranks keywords that nobody ever really search for. In that 1 year and paying over £200 for an advert, which was a premium listing and in page 1 and 2nd or 3rd from the top, I received 2 phone calls and that was it. You'll be a fool to waste your money on these extortionists.

Extremely unprofessional, unorganized, poor communication, just hand over money and lose visibility, control and results. Avoid like the plague as they'll lock you into a long term contract with no way out no matter how much they fail you. Appalling. Would give them zero stars if I could.

Just got scammed by Yell.com after spending 420 GBP per month on PPC advertising campaign. I was enticed into spending my hard earned cash with them to promote our website at 3signs.co.uk - a niche site selling health and safety signs & stickers, after month 1 I raised my concerns - they did not listen to what we were selling then created wasteful ads on the wrong keywords that were irrelevant to what we sold. After my initial complaint, they rebuilt the campaign - taking a further 2 more weeks. They enabled call logging using a special number - but yet to receive my first call. Their stats are reporting 11k impressions and 160 clicks to my site over two months, but no sales conversions yet :( Very disappointing as my own Google PPC campaign with a 100GBP monthly spend generated more sales and clicks. Requested a full refund and cancelled the direct debit, if this is not received so I'll be invoicing them for this shocking ordeal. AVOID them at all cost if you have a niche website, they suggested a retargeting campaign after the third or fourth complaint, still waiting to see the results on this. They are very slow to respond to my enquiries, the sales rep Nicky Morgan pulled out of my scheduled meetings. In fact, we've never met again since I first signed up three months ago now. Thing again before wasting your money with Yell.com!

I had a positive experience with Yell's reputation manager last year with my listing as a therapist. As a result I decided to use the service for another aspect of my work which is a clinic from which myself (as owner and manager) a number of independent therapists work. From the outset the process went wrong, with ownership of our listing attributed to first one of our therapists and then to another, with their details being used on our reputation dashboard and therefore being distributed across the web via the listing affiliates Yell engage with. To my surprise as well the system was powerful enough to change our Google My Business listing, changing our business name and even the photograph it contained to that of one of our therapists. That was a huge shock to be given how carefully I'd managed it. I brought this to Yell's attention immediately and expected the issue was easily resolved, unfortunately for reasons its hard to fathom it was impossible to put right. Responsibility for the issue was handed to different people in Yell over a period of a few weeks with the promise each time that the issue was understood and that within a few days would be resolved. Each time it was impossible to get the information correct and so a as a result a very powerful system that is meant to ensure that information across the web for your business is cohesive, was in fact misrepresenting our business information. It appeared that as a result of therapists having their own Yell listings citing our business address, that this was enough to have them attributed as owners of our business listing, despite it being made clear on taking on the service that sole ownership of the clinic business is ours alone. After several months of dead ends and broken promises to resolve the issue I had not choice but to cancel the Yell reputation manager service. Unfortunately this has not been the end of the issue. I wanted to keep the simple Yell online directory listing. I asked that the telephone number be corrected to reflect our correct landline number, and not the mobile number that was being used, a number that I had never provided Yell despite them insisting I must have, but which they had taken from one of our therapists and allocated to our business by mistake. I have a email trail dating back to November 2018 in which I have repeatedly asked for this to be put right, and repeatedly I've been told it will be resolved shortly. It never was and I got to the point several weeks ago that I asked that Yell to simply cancel and remove the listing altogether. as after several months of trying the telephone number remained incorrect and I could see no other solution. I thought this would be easy enough. To my amazement despite several calls and emails the listing is still live and it appears that whatever I do, whoever I speak to by phone or via email, Yell seem unable to put this right. I have chased this on numerous occasions over the last few weeks. Given that the whole premise of their service is to enhance a businesses visibility and ensure cohesion of information across the web, an essential way to ensure Google see your business favourably, then I find it extraordinary that when they've so obviously failed in this service that they should not be able to put it right in a matter of days. If it were not for the fact that I saw measurable falls in our website traffic coinciding with the errors I saw being made, then it would have felt that I was involved in some bizarre comedy sketch in which I was the focus of the prank. Sadly its been far more stressful than that. i would urge you to think very carefully before engaging Yell. Although I can state that each person I've spoken to has been lovely, which is why it took me so long before finally cancelling the reputation manager service as I trusted their statements that it was just about to be resolved, unfortunately the sum of the parts, at least for me, has been wholly dysfunctional. I've recently got to a point whereby the last representative I've been communicating with is virtually impossible to reach, and I simply feel that my issue is being ignored. It will be interesting to see if this review will prompt any meaningful action, or simply further apologies and empty promises.
