“Delivery slow but OK. My concern is that you cannot rely on any live chat or telephone messages about delivery dates. I was repeatedly assured by more than one person on the live chat that although the telephone message and website said that the parcel was still in the "local depot" it was "with the driver" and would be delivered that day. I made important arrangements in reliance on their assurances but it did not arrive. I was happy to pick it up from the depot myself to avoid further delay, but was told that this would not be permitted.
This is not the first time I have wasted days of my time messing around with Yodel. If I had realised the seller was using them I would have sourced the item elsewhere.”

“Unreliable. Left me waiting from morning till 9pm on the latest expected date, did not arrive. I contact yodel on live chat to bring this up and today, the day after latest expected date. I did not receive a predicted time. I’ll probably have to wait till 9pm again.”

“My parcel was delivered on time.
The parcel was left under the doormat and in tracking it was documented a "delivered in a safe place". Although the parcel was very small and hardly visible I would not describe this as a safe place although in fact I did not even see it myself.
Not note was left with the safe place and there was somebody at home at the time of delivery.
Customer service per chat was fairly good. Quick responses.”
“Tracking is totally erratic - changing from 'at depot awaiting delivery schedule' to jumping back two days prior to basic 'in transit'. Five basic 'In transit' / 'Enroute' entries is not helpful either. And, if you use another Yodel tracking page, you get a different picture yet again. Total shambles in short.”

“My parcel was 2 days late so I messaged customer service who were very helpful I must say. Parcel arrived then 4 days after the estimated due date which was fine once I knew it was still going to be delivered. Only unfortunate thing was that the box seemed battered, luckily all items from my order where still in the box and thankfully not damaged as they are Christmas gifts”
“At first it took the seller almost a week to hand over the parcel to yodel (not yodels fault, obviously) but then it took Yodel 2 days to get it into delivery. It was marked as out for delivery around lunchtime. I was number 34 for that day, estimated delivery time between 6 and 8. It is now 9.15 I am still number 15 and the driver hasn't move since 8. Before that I could see him moving across the map in slow motion. 14 parcels 6+ hours? That's a joke.”
“Quick delivery and the item seems fine but the man delivered when I was out and took it upon himself to wander around the property, leaving the parcel in the back garden. Was he looking for a safe place to store the parcel, or have a good nosey around? He probably looked through my windows too. I feel slightly violated. They shouldn't be allowed to wander..I would have gladly picked-up the parcel.”
