Avoid using. Only give an all day- until 9pm time slot. No one answers the phone for customer service and can't get online chat to work. Had to take the day off work to wait in as the nearest collection point is 20 miles away....very poor

After waiting in all day we received a message at 2118 hrs 'Sorry we missed you, we will try again'. On checking tracking it stated that they had missed us and a card had been put through. Apart from being in all day, we did not get a card either. It appears that if drivers are running late, some of them put on tracking that they have tried to deliver, when they have not.

As usual delivered to wrong address. As usual there was someone at home all day here. If yodel employed couriers with at least a basic grasp of English it might improve Unreliable at best.

I feel that in writing this review I am simply adding fuel to a fire that is already raging. However i'm going to do it anyway because who doesn't like a good moan. Firstly my delivery window was extended 1 minute before it was supposed to end. It was a 3 hour window......how can you get that that wrong. Secondly I specifically asked for signed for delivery because I live in flats and didn't want to package to go missing (It was clearly marked wine, so an attractive proposition indeed). However the driver decided to leave it outside behind a 2 foot wall....which was considered a 'safe place'. Literally anyone walking past could have picked it up, sodded off and had a very enjoyable Friday evening. I was in all day, door bell didn't even ring. Come on Yodel! I'm not asking your driver to cure cancer or write a symphony on the way to my door. Just walk up and ring the door bell. Not recommended unless you want to run the risk of people getting their mittens on your vino

So... if you want to call the Yodel telephone number just be aware that you are NOT talking to a customer service centre in the UK... it is infact in South Africa. After a horrendous experience with tracking down my parcel (they said they left three delivery notifications at my address... and actually never entered my street it turns out!). It also turns out that the calls I made were never logged onto the system so the Yodel depo never knew I had called with an inquiry! Last attempt was to go to the depo to collect parcel and by some miracle it was there! Got excellent customer service, cup of tea and driven back to town! The call center needs to come back to the UK as there appears to be a huge communication breakdown with the call centre in South Africa.

Usually ok but- Had a delivery today of a cctv system and screen, the screen was smashed to pieces and a shard of glass cut my thumb. The system epwas double boxed and polystyrene around the screen but still totally smashed. I can send photos, or look up my facebook page. M.C. Luther

Each time we have to book a courier for work the boss ends up choosing Yodel. Parcel should have been collected yesterday, but wasn't - this is the third time this has happened (3 different deliveries, not just this parcel). Log into the account and it says "no one home, card left". I have NO card and I'm very dubious they would have turned up past the collection time-frame to have left one behind anyway. Online chat rep says their system didn't have a reason from the courier for the failed collection (again, bet they were never here to leave a card behind) so just re-booked it for Monday - so a 48 hour express service is now NOT very express is it? Fingers crossed they turn up on Monday to collect it because there wasn't even any offer of a refund so I could find someone else to do the job right. Never. Again.

Whilst the local couriers seem to be OK they have an upward struggle with Yodel organisation therefore get the backlash from frustrated customers. In my latest case a parcel that was dispatched from near Southampton for Cornwall was picked up OK and taken to the local Yodel depot. From there it was taken in the evening to the distribution depot at Hatfield in Hertfordshire which must be over a 100 miles in the wrong direction of it's destination. It stayed at Hatfield for a day before being transported to Cornwall the next night. The sender had paid for 24 hour delivery but when I informed him that it had not arrived he checked up and was told that Yodel 24 hour service can take up to two days. You cannot phone anybody at Yodel or if you do it costs 62 p per minute and their online chat only gets you some idiot who does not even seem to know what day of the week it is. The depots either do not have phone numbers or never answer the phone. I just cannot see the logic in transporting parcels away from their destination which adds time and cost and to charge for a 24 hour service which then takes two days is fraud. All this leads to frustration which is usually taken out on the delivery driver when he turns up. All in all Yodel offers a poor service which I shall avoid in the future.

It is impossible to tell companies which delivery company to use, however I will factor in which courier they are using before I place orders in future. 5days later than expected! A day chasing it up along with cost of phone calls! So so frustrating and to top it of a damaged obviously dropped means damaged contents!!!!! Now it needs returning! Will be sticking to royal mail in future. Rant over!

Yodel just delivered an incredibly heavy printer to my door. I am a pensioner with arthritis but the man just put the box on the doormat OUTSIDE the front door, got me to sign for it and scarpered. I tried to call after him to ask him at least to lift it into the hall for me as it's about to rain but he ignored me. Just hurt my shoulder lifting the box. NOT IMPRESSED

day 1: Claimed they attempted delivery. Was in house all day and there was no delivery, also no card left. day 2: Left parcel outside front door, rang doorbell and ran. No signature was requested even though one was required.

was told no one was in the house and that they'd left a note but the house was fully occupied at the time of 'delivery' and no note was left. Then when i re-scheduled delivery for two days later, the delivery van didn't even show up. Contacted customer services and was told that the driver 'didn't have time' to make my delivery. The only redeeming factor was that customer service (online live chat) responded vaguely quickly.

Had a parcel delivered by yodel yesterday. They give a facility to specify where you want it or who you want it left with. But once again, we have a neighbour, we even have a written note at eye level on the front yet still they just leave it with whoever they want. If that is the case then dont give that option. Not the first time from Yodel drivers, just poor customer service. As customers we specify for a reason, but Yodel drivers dont care.
