“This is the worst shipping company out there! They can not deliver a package and have had it for over two weeks. Although we are a business they will only deliver between 7:30PM and 9:00PM. No matter how much we tell them we are closed they just do not care. This is the reason we stopped shipping with this garbage carrier!”

Delivery delayed with no attempt at delivery and given notification they would send it again. Did that happen? No. Over a week later and that's all the information I have.
If you call customer services it's impossible to speak to anybody at all and you just go around in a loop with automated responses and eventually it hangs up on you. You contact them using online forms and Whatsapp but never get the promised call backs.
So far I still have no idea where the parcel is or when it will be delivered. The best part? This has happened multiple times now and is not a one off experience.
I'd advise any business or individual to avoid DHL at all cost.”

“DHL Express damaged a high‑value fine art shipment I sent for auction and then hid behind minimal, weight‑based liability. The box was opened and repacked with DHL “REPACKED / SECURITY CHECKED” tape; after this, the artwork’s case arrived creased, with the bottom corner bent and the material wrinkled. I provided detailed photos and proof of value (~USD 4,000). After a lot of hassle, back‑and‑forth and time spent with the auction house and DHL claims, I was offered only a few hundred pounds based on kilos, not the real loss. For fragile, high‑value or irreplaceable items, I would strongly advise thinking twice before using DHL unless you are prepared for this kind of experience and outcome.”

“Today 2-4-2026 I went online to sign up for a business account. I was prompt online to use a 50% coupon code right now while I wait to be contacted by DHL business account representative.
So, I decided to called into the Midtown Atlanta Georgia location to get information about shipping / quote. The Representative Jay was politely patient, thoroughly explaining what I needed to know. The information was helpful about DHL coupon code that I had received. I told Jay that I will give her a good review for being professional.
There are too often, people like Jay get overlook for showing up for work and not being properly recognized. I thought I should be the one to give Ms. Jay a Shout Out for Representing the DHL company well. I am looking forward in building a relationship business account with DHL. Thank you!”
“I paid for next day delivery, three days later I'm still waiting. Day 1 they said they couldn't access my property, despite all other deliveries arriving with no trouble and I'd seen DHL vans driving down my road. I even spoke with one of the drivers and he didn't have my package. Day two no reasons given, I was just told the package would be delivered the next day. I spoke to customer service and told them I was in the office in the afternoon so could only sign for the package in the morning. When I tracked it the next day it said the package would be delivered between 4pm and 5 pm and I was stop number 47. I spoke with the seller who arranged for the item to be left in my porch as I wouldn't be in. From 5pm I was tracking the driver and it said the driver was on their way to stop number 45. He didn't get there and at 6pm tracking said the driver couldn't access my property. How could he have difficulty accessing my property if he didn't even get to the two stops before me?
If I could have given no starts I would have. Stay well clear of this unprofessional, shambles of a company!”
“Absolutely appalling service from DHL Express. This shipment was paid for as Express delivery with an expected arrival date of 8 January, yet it was only released on 20 January. For an Express service, this delay is completely unacceptable.
What made this experience even worse was the lack of guidance, accountability, and internal consistency. When I contacted customer service, I was clearly told that the parcel was classified as documents and non-commercial — this was confirmed via chat. However, once a formal case was opened, the story changed entirely and the shipment was suddenly treated as a non-document consignment, leading to delays, clearance issues, and charges. I spent hours chasing customer service, received contradictory information, and my case eventually went unanswered.
These were my wedding invitations, an important personal matter. The stress, confusion, and inconvenience caused by DHL’s poor coordination and lack of transparency were unacceptable. I was even required to pay in the end to receive my parcel, despite the issues clearly stemming from DHL’s own handling. I would not recommend DHL Express based on this experience.”

“I got a notification that my parcel was delivered to this parcel shop.
I was sent a code by SMS to enable me to pick up the parcel from the shop that DHL left it at.
Upon entering the shop, staff told me that they would
only accept a barcode, and not the cod that I was given.
Cue, numerous calls to DHL, liasing with shop staff also (who were brill), DHL after 4 days have still not given me anything to help me pick up my parcel. They actually haven't even called me back to update in the last 4 days.
Parcels still in the shop, and the reason I bought the item has now passed.”
