Horrible experience! AVOID at all costs!
I have sent an expensive item (480£) that I insured for the whole amount, through them and not only that it took longer to arrive, but the product arrived damaged, upside down and part of the box was missing. The item was very well packed and secured, also the driver that collected confirmed that the box was adequately sealed and secured. After I found out that the product arrived damaged I opened a claim that is now taking longer than 2 weeks to get sorted.
The first time they decided to refund only 250£ of the total 480£ punds that I insured and after they took responsibility for the fact that the product arrived damaged, I replied and tried to explain that I need the whole amount to be refunded they said that is my fault and that the package was not well packed and they say my claim is rejected.
I will proceed and go to the small claims court and hopefully I will get my money back and also the delivery fee, because obviously the delivery was a joke.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!”

“A terrible experience. I waited in 4 times for a parcel to be collected and nothing happened. Customer Service was non existent - at one point claiming not have my full address - even though it was printed on the label supplied for the parcel! Avoid.”
“I needed to ship 3 boxes from the UK to Italy and I chose Parcel Monkey with DPD classic. Worst service ever! The boxes arrived at the recipient extremely damaged and burst, the cardboard boxes were torn and open in some places as if someone purposely tried to open them. They were crushed by heavier weights during the transport. I packed everything carefully and it was impossible the boxes opened themselves. I am extremely dissatisfied and will never use this service again! 0 stars!!”
“Lost my package, then allegedly found it but have yet to return it to me (more than three weeks since they created a return shipping label). Over two and half months of dealing with them, package is probably still lost and they're lying about. Just own up to running a horrible, inept company that can't do its job.”
“Do not use this service, it is a scam. They lie about why their prices are low. It's not because they are connected or know some secret about the industry, it is because they will send your package collect on delivery and force you to pay the difference when your courier tries to delivery the package.”

“absolutely disgusting. Quick enough to take your money but you will have a huge fight on your hands if your item is smashed by their couriers, (in this case Parcelforce). Paid and booked online through Paypal, my item was insured for £200,00 as it was a costly guitar body. Of course it got smashed by Parcel force and i had to open a claim through Parcel monkey who are now beating around the bush and trying desperately to avoid the issue. They have even told me that they will refund my Paypal transaction which will make my claim void and they will not have to arrange settlement. Absolutely disgusting and know nothing of the law.”

They lost my item and gave me 7 days to produce a receipt or they wouldnt pay me.
I was unable to obtain the receipt in that time due to the company I bought from being closed due to Covid so I had to wait for an email back confirming purchase.

Totally unhelpful staff with unprofessional behaviour. Paid for international priority TRACKED service, and they say that 'the tracking/claims timeframe will need to be monitored as we cannot provide an ETA/status update for this at present'. They don't give any answers about the location of my shipments or at least an estimated delivery timeframe. STAY AWAY. SCAM.”
“Parcel Monkey are the absolute worst. No customer support, no care for the package, no care for the customer. Waiting on a simple update on an overnight delivery within the UK which is now running to its 7th day. The help-desk just fob you off without update to meet their SLA and they do nothing. You can't call them, all you can do is keep sending a message to their help-desk, and they just respond to make sure that they start the clock again with some inane update like "we're looking into it" or "please hold".
The company is in either complete disarray or a scam. Do not trust, they do not care and you will just send them dozens of messages without any conclusion - just go with a reputable company.
Update - for the Parcel Monkey update below they just told me that they've emailed the courier - after 5 days of telling me the same thing - they feel that sending another mail and waiting more is appropriate. Don't be fooled they are scamming this platform and playing the reviews. Read the bad ones - they are honest.
Update: Day 7, the courier have now advised that they lost the parcel. Parcel Monkey have been updated but they still maintain that they have no further information. Lying, misleading, stealing my property - the list goes on - DO NOT USE - they are a scam!
Update: Day 10, Still no update or response from Parcel Monkey - If you're thinking about using them beware - this could be you...”

Attention lisez bien leur conditions générales :
J'ai envoyé un colis de France en Allemagne, lors de ma saisie des dimensions j'ai commis une erreur sur une des dimensions ( 9 cm au lieu de 90 cm) mais j'ai bien précisé qu'il s'agissait d'un fauteuil de bureau. J'ai réglé le colis qui est parti et a bien été livré...
Quelques jours après je reçois une facture complémentaire de 586 euros prélevée directement sur mon Paypal ! open bar.
Lorsque j'ai demandé des explications il me disent que le transporteur a ajusté sa facture suite à la rectification de la dimension et a pris la décision seul de livrer quand même le colis sans mon accord préalable....
J'ai donc payé un colis de 20 kg contenant un fauteuil de bureau 56 euros + 586,80 euros!
à ce prix là je loue une limousine et le livre moi même en Allemagne en passant une semaine de vacances!
Bien sûr j'ai écris au service client, qui ne veut rien savoir et semble se cacher derrière le transporteur.
Quand j'ai vérifié les compétences des tribunaux lors de litige en général, il est spécifié Pays de Galle ou Angleterre pour les tribunaux compétents ! ParcelMonkey fait bien du fric en France et pour régler les litige ils nous invitent au Pays de Galle / UK ou Irland.
Je compte bien aller jusqu'au bou de la procédure, car je trouve que c'est pas normal de subir les choses comme ça à cause de leur processes qui est à parfaire.
Déjà parcel monkey ne vérifie pas la cohérence des envois d'une part, et lorsque le transporteur les détecte n'informe pas en amont du changement de prix avant de réaliser la livraison.
J'avais bien précisé qu'il s'agissait d'un fauteuil de bureau d'une vingtaine de KG avec les bonnes dimensions sauf sur la hauteur faute de frappe!
Le service client parcelmonkey, ne semble pas vouloir faire quelque chose, les échanges stériles que nous avons eu n'aboutissent à rien,à ce jour je suis toujours débiteur de plus de 600 euros pour un envoi d'un colis de 20 kg de Paris à Düsseldorf!
Je vous conseille de faire appel à des sites Français de transporteurs classiques qui ont pinion sur rue, pas des intermédiaire qui se font de l'argent sans soucis mais en cas de litige vous invite à l'étranger.
Je suis dégoûté, surtout quand vous avez en face un mépris total et aucune volonté de régler le problème à l'amiable...pourquoi le faire lorsqu'on a été prendre l'argent directement sans rien demander.
Ne faites pas d'erreur de frappe ou lisez bien les CGS pour savoir en quoi vous vous engagez, je compte bien dire la vérité et soigner ainsi leur e-reputation en tout cas.”

The customer service representatives were giving confusing and wrong information all the time to me. their communication with DPD was at least poor and because of their incompetence I lost all my clothing and professional equipment (total value of £2000).
To be more precise, many of their representatives one day they were telling me one thing and the next day the were claiming the opposite. They were never helpful or did anything at all to help the situation.
Parcel Monkey requested some information from me(photos, description of the items and parcels etc.) and it took them TWO WEEKS to send this information to DPD.
They were ignoring my messages in the the open thread and the investigation was stalling because they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Even if the send your staff for free, avoid them. As I said, worst experience ever.”
