“Service recovery when a fraudulent sale happened for Broadway tickets that I purchased. I was suspicious when I was unable to download the tickets and had reached out on several occasions and was reassured that these tickets were not fraudulent. I spoke with an agent virtually the date of the show when it said, I should be able to download the tickets and still we’re not able to and the agent reassured me that if I went to the box office with my ticket information, it would be resolved and it wasn’t. I had to get on the phone call with an agent in the lobby of the show to finally have someone at StubHub. Admit that these tickets were fraudulent and then I received service recovery with new tickets. These tickets were purchased months in advanced, and this fraudulent activity should have been caught ahead of time instead of me, stressing out in the lobby of the show while the agents figured this out at the last minute do better step up for your customers to avoid fraud and stress in these situations.”

“Bought tickets to a play in LA for Jan. 2, 2026 on 12/12/2025. The next morning, I looked up the theater so I could figure out parking, considering I would be driving 5 hours from the SF Bay Area to see the play. When I looked up the theater, I found that the play and 12 other shows of that play had been cancelled. I called StubHub to inform them that the show had been cancelled and that I need my money back. At the time, they said that it was not cancelled in their system and when it registered as cancelled, they would give me a credit. I told them I didn't want a credit, I wanted my money back and the rep just said it would be addressed when the cancellation was registered in their system. I has been 15 days past and 6 days until the cancelled show. StubHub have not sent any information about returning my money nor the show cancellation but have sent me emails that I can still buy tickets for that show at $932 each. I verified again that the show is cancelled.. so as far as I can tell StubHub is just a Scam. DONT use them!!”

Purchased parking passes with game tickets. Got billed from the parking company. Tried to resolve it to no avail. Their guarantee should have been written on toilet paper. Won't purchase from them again.”
“Bought two tickets for an upcoming show - purchased Seats 3 and 4. Have multiple screen shots and emails from StubHub confirming these were the seats I ordered.
However, StubHub gave me seats 9 and 10, which are further away from the aisle and the stage and have a significantly worse angle. I contacted Customer Service and they told me the seller would have to give me the correct tickets (Seats 3-4) or I'd get a refund. However, after waiting weeks, this wasn't done and when I've re-contacted StubHub (many times), they've advised me that they can provide whatever seats they want, as long as they're in the same section and same row - even if they are obstructed, farther away from the stage, have a different view, etc. They cannot point to anywhere in their policy where this is disclosed; I have asked multiple times, and the offshore customer service agents just say that this is their "policy".
I have contacted StubHub 10+ times in an effort to resolve, and they, frankly, just don't care. I will never do business with them again and recommend that others steer clear, as well.”

Since the theater has a zero phone policy and we wouldn't be allowed into the theater after intermission we thought we would contact stubhub after the show. When we called to see how they could help us they told us that since we did not complain during the show there was nothing they could do. They did not verify the tickets were actually row R and they would not reimburse us.”
