“StubHub allows scam artists to sell tickets on its platform and does not intervene or provide any type of customer service. I will never buy tickets from them again. Other consumers should heed the warning.”
“I bought tickets for an out of town concert a month early. I paid $530 for AC/DC in Nashville, flying in from San Diego. First off it took me nearly 3 weeks and multiple phone calls with customer service to finally get the tickets downloaded and in my possession. Finally got them. The concert was postponed a day and I could not attend because I was flying out that morning. Talked to customer service and they told me to sell them, that was the only way I could get my money back. Couldn’t sell them because I couldn’t get in my account and was locked out. So I missed the concert and lost $530. I will never use StubHub again and will encourage others not too as well. The whole experience was awful. I wish I could leave them zero stars.”
“If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely awful customer service. They had false advertising which led to the purchase of the wrong tickets. I tried to rectify the situation but was unable to get the help I needed. I ended up selling the tickets and followed their transfer process. They told me to use ticketmaster as the main selling site which I did. Now I cannot transfer to the buyer and I have to pay out stub hub and ticketmaster which is double the price now. Horrendous site…. STAY AWAY!!”
“Hi I bought tickets on stub hub and i was unaware that they were canceled and i tried to sell them because i cant get those days off anymore and now stub hub is charging me $600. order numbers: 556056999, 8933114790 I clicked on the ticket on stub hub and it had the option to sell and it made me believe that there was nothing wrong with the ticket Later I got a lot of emails from stub hub that i need to send it and i was confused because, shouldn't stub hub already have the tickets ?”
“I had a terrible experience with StubHub. I purchased two tickets for my teenage daughter and her friend as a birthday gift. Just minutes before they were about to leave for the concert, we found out that the tickets had been canceled. It was heartbreaking for our entire family. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company. They clearly cannot guarantee the tickets they sell. Please think twice and consider boycotting StubHub.”
“My experience with StubHub was extremely disappointing. I purchased a ticket for an event that was advertised alongside electronic music DJs like Bob Moses and Steve Aoki, which made me believe it was an electronic music show. However, the actual event was completely different and not what was promoted. I felt completely misled.
To make matters worse, I tried to resell the ticket for the same amount I paid ($70), but StubHub automatically listed it for only $4, despite me updating the price. This made me feel like the platform was either malfunctioning or intentionally undervaluing my listing.
Overall, I lost both time and money and can no longer trust StubHub for future purchases. I do not recommend this platform.”
“They completely suck. I purchased 4 tickets 3 months in advance. After 2 months and nothing i contacted them with my concerns. They said not to worry, sometimes the Tix didn't show till close to showtime. 2 days before this sold out event i get an email... No tix. I contacted them again and they said sorry.... Can i help you with anything else.
Never ever ever again.”
“I did not receive any tickets for acdc
even though I purchased them 6 months before concert. We had 5 people from our group who flew to Tampa but did not get to go because seller backed out 2 hours before concert started. I got my money back but wanted to see concert instead. Once the tickets are bought, the seller should not be able to back out. Terrible business model.
I will never use stubhub again!”
“They are stealing my money!! I paid $1556 for Billy Joel / Stevie Nicks Tickets and they said I have to wait 78 days and "maybe" I will get them the day of the concert! This is ridiculous! They already charged my credit card and will not give me any assurance that I will have our four seats until after 1 pm the day of the show!! This is terrible!! DO NOT USE STUB HUB!!”
“Unreal. I listed my tickets. Somehow they got listed wrong, despite having to put barcodes in and jump through hoops to resell my tickets. Last night I received an email. I've been reported for fraud because the tickets were listed wrong. So, they are keeping the tickets and fining me!!! I have to pay for a concert i cannot attend and pay a fee for a mistake that I did not make not to mention being called a fraud and a liar. Great business.”
“I had to make at least five phone calls to eventually resolve issue. That was second time in about five months where I had to make multiple calls to receive tickets.”
“Stub hub never secured my ticket and stalled all the way up until the hour before the event the offered me mediocre seats that were worth far less than I paid. They even refused to refund me for the parking at the event I didn’t attend.”
“I am very disappointed with the service of Stubhub, I bought 4 tickets 1 month before the event and I wasn't able to get them and enter the event ,I invited my friends and We had to stay outside and look for another tickets while concert started, They failed to provide replacement tickets, so I had to buy another 4 tickets 2 times expensive and also was late for 1 hour to the event . And now they are saying they don't provide compensations , even if it's their fault .
Don't trust them, awful experience ,”
“Purchased concert event parking through StubHub at an inflated price 6 weeks prior to the concert. Receipt showed amount paid, date and address of parking garage. I checked with StubHub 2 weeks prior to the event just to make sure the parking location was the same. It was. As I was walking out the door to attend the concert, Stub Hub sent me an email with a different parking location. Too late! Already had info for the original location, where I paid extra to park. Requested a refund with documentation of StubHub’s change of location, but it was denied. So, StubHub blatantly stole my parking money. NEVER, purchase parking through StubHub!”
“I purchased 3 tickets and unbeknownst to me. The theater had standing room only. We were in a pretty good area with our backs against the wall. And behind us was a crowd of people shouting at the play, which was understandable cheering, and as they were cheering, they were spitting all over us. Shame on the theater for doing that.”
