“I'll likely NEVER buy tickets through StubHub again! They deserve 0 stars but that isn't an option.
After purchasing tickets to a basketball game, I never received the tickets; just a confirmation email. So I text the online chat. They tell me that me tickets could not be delivered due to some issue with AXS and they sent me a link to my email. The link had an option to get a replacement ticket or a refund. I look at the replacement ticket options knowing I bought tickets for a 100 level section and they offered me a replacement ticket in the 200 level section. Their online system generates these replacement apparently based on cost but I buy tickets based on location.
Obviously swapping a 100 level ticket for 200 level doesn't do me any justice so I ask for a manager; No manager available on duty. So I'm just left with having to either refund and not attend, get a lesser version of the experience I purchased, or just pay them again for a different ticket. Even the customer service agent agreed that I got the crappy end of the stick but also let me know that there was nothing anybody could do to rectify the situation.

I purchased 20 yard line lower bowl tickets to a Nebraska game I’d be traveling 900 miles to go to. 1rst problem they do t give you row and seat number until 7-10 day before event. So if there’s a problem you can’t see it until there’s a limited time frame and there’s no transparency to see view of what you’re buying. When I see row and seat number it says it’s obstructed view seat. I contact stubhub right away and they say I can get a refund or exchange tickets for comparable seats. I choose exchange as travel is already booked and nonrefundable at this point. I followed their instructions to return tickets. They say they’ll release the tickets 60-90 minutes before event. Less than an hour before event they hadn’t don’t anything. They try to exchange at 50 minutes before the game upper deck, end zone, student section tickets for the 20 yard line lower bowl tickets. The tickets they were sending as exchange were far worse than originals. They were never usable as you’d have to go to the Nebraska athletic site to get them and they were never there. Stubhub had also never taken the original obstructed view seats back. Presented with worse tickets than the original problem ones- I used the original tickets with obstructed view.
I then contacted stubhub to complain they never fixed original issue. They said the escalated issue but never contacted me back. I called and they basically said we sent you replacement tickets you accepted we won’t do anything and we won’t connect you to a supervisor. They were apparently never going to do a thing to address the situation and won’t refund the 2 future events I have tickets with them in the future.”

“I bought tickets to a show. Was prompted for parking. Of course we will want parking. Parking lot was 7 miles from the venue. Are you kidding me. Contacted stub hub, and was told parking tickets said over 15 min walk so to bad so sad. Nice scam for 40 dollars”
“Everything was terrible. When I arrived at the ballpark with my son and presented our tickets I was told that the tickets I purchased on StubHub were fraudulent and I couldn’t buy new tickets because the game was sold out. When I contacted StubHub they wanted to know what gate number I went in, the exact time, and even the bar code of the fraudulent ticket they sold me. Which wasn’t on the ticket anymore because it just said past event, but I didn’t know when I went in the game that I needed to keep track of all of this. They say they guarantee their tickets, but they haven’t given me a refund and say they’re “ investigating” I’ll never use StubHub again and I’ll tell as many people as I can not to also. I also paid almost $40 for parking passes from them and tried to tell them that because I didn’t see the game I should be refunded the money for that and was denied that. StubHub has awful customer service.”

Sold tickets on stub hub and there policy is 5-8 Business and still haven’t received my funds for the tickets I sold and this is the 11th day.. customer service has no answers but just telling me to wait.. no explanation on why my funds haven’t been received.”

“We found out we didn’t have tickets to Bills game while sitting in the parking lot . We purchased tickets 4 months before game. “Do not buy from stubhub. 3 months ago I purchase VIP tickets for $1147 buy stubhub messed up the listing and I got row 18 rather VIP row AB OR C.
I called them immediately and at least 30 times after and it’s been 3 months and they keep telling me there is nothing they can do do.
No protection, and when escalation gets the info through the lack of information it’s denied by them.

“On July 14, 2025 I purchased two section 127 tickets to the Paul McCartney concert in Palm Desert California on September 29, 2025. As of September 25, 2025 I had not received those tickets in my account. I was informed on September 26, 2025 that they “weren’t available “ and was told I had my choice of three inferior tickets at tge same price. I accepted the best of the bad option because I desperately wanted to see Sir Paul. The tickets in section 255 blocked his head on the screens. We could see only his neck down. The seats I purchased were dead center with no blocks. During the waiting period I contacted the CEO and COO who never responded. I will NEVER buy anything from StubHub again! Ticketmaster puts the tickets in your account immediately and I recommend them highly.”
“Never use them. they changed a listing after I purchased and complained about a partial view. They say we can try to correct when you get the tickets on the day of the show. Completely left me with bad seats and no way to correct. I will never use them again!!!!!!”
“I guess I just don’t understand the price of parking passes - $500+ and $700+ seems very unreasonable. I purchased a parking pass for the PSU vs UCLA football game for 10/4 at the cost of $48.00. Lesson learned - be very careful wondering why parking passes for a Penn State football game are more expensive than the game ticket.”

There is no refund for events that are being rescheduled for two-three months and if you are unable to attend due to some random date that organizer decides to pick then forget about it because you will never be able to return your tickets. The tickets that we purchased with StubHub were not valid at the entry gate to Yankee Stadium. They sold the same tickets to other people and they entered before we did. We had to purchase new tickets on our own at the last minute and take pictures of the other people in our seats. We provided the pictures to StubHub and they still have not refunded our money. I would not purchase from StubHub ever again.”
