DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS through Stubhub. They present the price of the tickets and ask for all of your information, process your payment, then reveals you have been charged a ridiculous amount in hidden fees. They do NOT disclose their fees upfront leading to huge mismatch and deceptive pricing.

They say you will get tickets before the show. In our case said we would get an email two hours before. Never got a email. Spent 53 minutes on the phone, they had no tickets, we were already at the theater. Refund offered but that does not make up for the terrible experience. Get you tickets another way.

They sell tickets to you from third party sellers which never get released to you. You purchase the ticket thinking you have scannable tickets and then you show up to the event and realize you don’t have the barcode to scan. I was furious with stubhub and they never did anything to resolve the issue. Never purchase tickets through this company.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH STUB HUB YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO A FRONT LINE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WHO HAS N AUTHORITY. IT HAS BEEN DAYS SINCE MY NIGHTMARE STARTED AND I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ANYONE WITH AUTHORITY AND HAVE NO RESOLUTION. I HAVE BEEN FINED FOR NOT RETURNING MASTERS BADGES WHEN NOT ONLY WERE THEY RETURNED BUT I HAVE A RECEIPT FOR THE RETURN.

Terrible. Resold tickets at a loss due to medical emergency. Apparently tickets required me to upload links for them for the new buyer, which I never received those links from my original purchase. Contacted Stub Hub 5 (!!!) times asking for help. Mind you, tickets were expensive and I was willing to sell them for a loss. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. AVOID STUB HUB.

BEWARE of StubHub: I purchased parking passes almost 1 month in advance of the event. The e-mail which contained a link to retrieve the passes was sent nearly 1 hour AFTER THE EVENT WAS CONCLUDED that evening! The StubHub customer service representative who answered my call the next morning spoke broken English and informed me that, because I didn't contact customer service THE DAY OF THE EVENT, I likely wouldn't get a refund. This is truly a scam, and--based on multiple comments below and on other ratings sites--not a unique occurrence but probably an intentional business decision.

If I could do a negative rating I would. Tickets were priced the same as Ticketmaster, and parking tickets were frauds. When I filed for the 100% guarantee I did not realize it was 100% guarantee you would be cheated and ignored. I WILL NEVER USE StubHub again

Concert was postponed for a year. They don't consider this cancelled, they consider it rescheduled so they wouldn't refund me despite this statement on their website: Every order is 100% guaranteed. I tried to escalate this but there isn't anyone else to speak to.

I purchased tickets for an event for January 2025. It was cancelled and rescheduled several times. StubHub always informed me ahead of time when the event was changed. That was until today. They gave me 25 minutes notice that the event was occurring today. I live further than that away from the venue and had to get someone from another household as well. They did not think that was a legitimate reason for me not to go and would not refund my money. Acknowledged that I had no notice but that was my problem not theirs. I will never do business with this company again nor do I recommend anyone else do it.

I purchased tickets for an event and never received them. I tried to get help from their customer service and they just told me to try and have the sender resend them. I did that and still received nothing. Even though they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee they did not deliver. I never received my tickets and did not get refunded. A complete scam of a company.

Stubhub will only let you down. Their representatives will promise you that your ticket is on the way, but it’ll never show up. If you want to actually attend your event, choose another place to buy your ticket. They do give you a refund which is nice… but not when you are outside your venue and ready to go in... this is a major inconvenience . I messaged them 8 hour prior to my event and spoke to four different reps. I even said that I needed to know id my tocket was coming before going to the venue and they promised it was. Three of the reps promised tickets on the way via email…. an email never came. Save yourself the stress, stay away from stubhub. I have never experienced such a terrible company and customer service.

Similar to other experiences with 1 star ratings. My ticket transfer was “cancelled” from Ticketmaster even after I accepted tickets. Supposedly the seller violated terms. Instead of getting my refund or being able to purchase new tickets from StubHub, they jerked me around up until 20 minutes before the show on show date. The “day of” show I talked to 4 different customer service agents who promised me different things. It’s currently 20 minutes until the show and still no call back (no one has ever called me back as promised after 8 different phone calls over the last month), no “link” to buy new tickets, and no refund at this point. Never felt more “taken advantage” of by a company. I missed my opportunity to see my favorite artist perform all because StubHub wants to wait till the very last second to offer anything, until it’s too late to even go. We are still waiting and I’m sure by the time we talk to anyone again, it will be in the middle of the show and then hoping for a refund. I would have used any other company or bought new tickets if I knew this would happen. So incredibly disappointed. I’ve never written a negative review before, and it comes with grief over not seeing my favorite artist. Shame on this company for ruining fans experiences.

The worst ticket company to deal with. They refused to refund ticket money for a venue that had nowhere for customers to park. They made it look like it was my fault. The Cobb Energy Center was a disaster no parking and parking was closed off. Tickets were invalid.

This place is a complete and total rip off. I bought a Wrestlemania 41 ticket, and it cost triple for their personal fees. I got a significantly better one on Ticketmaster, and when I tried to sell my Stubhub one, the transfer failed and I never got my money back.

This was my first time trying StubHub and I bought 2 tickets for an NBA game. I bought them in November and the game was in March. I’ve purchased online tickets before from other ticket sellers and have never had a problem…So, I naively thought I could just show up to the venue, show my ticket, and watch the game. Needless to say, when time came for us to show our tickets - first of all, you can’t even access them through the StubHub app, you have to transfer them to the Ticket Master app, and then my tickets weren’t even there. When I would tell the people checking tickets I was using StubHub they just rolled their eyes and made a big “Oh no.” That tells you the reputation StubHub has out there. I wish I had known because it would’ve save me the headache! Anyway, I ended up buying tickets at the ticket counter (way better seats for less money, mind you) and thought I could just call the next day to get my refund. WRONG. They kept throwing their “legal document” in my face about how a buyer needs to call FROM the VENUE to be able to get a refund - even though the legal document ACTUALLY says a buyer is ENCOURAGED (not required) to call…needless to say, after talking to like 3 different people and them saying my issue had been “escalated” (which I think it just sat there), still no refund. I will never use StubHub again, and you can make the decision for yourself, but I’d strongly suggest NOT using StubHub to save you the embarrassment and frustration for yourself and lack of care from StubHub customer service.

Bought tickets to HEART concert for March 28 but seller didn’t transfer tickets. Stub Hub still hasn’t refunded my money. Paid $ and got nothing. Horrible company

Terrible experience. Ordered MLB tickets in February, game was in April. Tickets never had a barcode for entry. Come to find out that the seller not only sold to us, but turned and re-sold the same seats 2 Other times. Stub Hub was contacted over 12 hours before game time and would not make things right. My credit card was charged of course. Will never use them again.

I bought my ticket for Carin León back in November 2024 for the show on April 11, 2025. The day finally came, and starting at 9:00 AM, I was on the phone with StubHub. They kept telling me I’d receive my ticket by 2:00 PM Pacific Time. I waited all day. 8:00 PM came and still no ticket. They told me they would send me a replacement ticket. I waited another hour, and then they told me there were no tickets available at all. I asked to speak to a manager or someone from administration, and I was told there was nothing they could do. I missed the concert I had been waiting months for. This was the worst customer service and overall experience I’ve ever had with any ticketing service. StubHub completely failed me.
