“allows you to relist tickets if you can't make it and "guarantees" you will get your tickets - but if you relist tickets, it stops selling them 48 hours prior because they can't "guarantee" they will have them. WHich is it??? HORRIBLE.”
“TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE STUBHUB! I bought a 3 day ticket, received the email from StubHub for the 3 day ticket weeks before the event. 3 days before the event I receive a 1 day ticket, I reached out to StubHub multiple times, they stated “the computer glitched the seller posted a 1 day ticket, I said but my email states 3 day, they acknowledged the error, however did absolutely nothing to fix the problem other then offer me a refund, their Fan Protection isn’t for you the buyer at all, Customer Service is a joke & a bad one! Spent hours trying to get them be be accountable for their error & got no where! Have nothing good to say about them.”
“Bought a parking ticket and the seller never delivered. After several calls and email exchanges, learned no one takes responsibility and just point fingers between StubHub and vendor. Extremely frustrated and unpleasant experience. Buyers beware ! I will never ever buy from them again !!!”
“Customer service is some of the most awful I have ever come across. Purchased a parking pass because of a pop up ad for parking which listed it was on-site. I purchased and later saw it in fact wasn't on site - instead at a shopping center near by. Almost two hours on the phone, three reps (one of which hung up on me), the supervisior who was like pulling teeth to get on the phones only option was to resell it. When it's a false ad. They would not refund me a thing although the main pop up ad info was false and misleading. Absolutely terrible terrible service, allow people to post false advertisements and apparently I'm not the only one who's experienced this.”
“Purchased a parking pass for a concert. No where on the sale of the pass did it advertise or warn about vehicle size restrictions for the lot. I get the ticket the next day and drive to the lot to find out it does not allow anything but standard size vehicles. Again WAS NOT advertised on their website. I pay for another spot at another lot and run to my event. Next day I reach out to stubhub. All they will give me a 25 percent off my next purchase. Why would I go back to a company that screwed me with a minor form of false advertisement. Because had that information been given I would not of purchased the pass for that specific lot.
Out 50 for the pass 20 for the other lot. But hey 25 percent coupon!!!!”
“I bought great tickets and they automatically gave me much lower quality seats since the seller didn’t transfer. When I called they said there was nothing they could do since I transferred them to a friend. My two seats were $600 and they gave me two seats that sold for $350 for two. They put me on hold for one over one hour until I gave in.”
“Got scammed. Without ever receiving my tickets, stub hub allowed the tickets to be relisted for $1 each. I paid $425 for them. Now they have not issued a refund or replaced the tickets. On top of that have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve only to be told an internal team will respond to me in 3-4 days. This internal team does not give access to them or the customer, so you’re at their whim. Will never use StubHub again. What a nightmare!”
“We purchased tickets from stubhub which we had no clue were a "reseller" company and when we arrived AT THE VENUE, we learned that our original seller had canceled the tickets and we received ZERO notification this happened. We were on the phone with customer service for 30 minutes before they offered an "alternative link" which were another set of resale tickets in the balcony which were half the price at which I paid my original tickets which were ground floor. We missed the first act and the first half of the act we paid for. When I tried calling customer service, I tried getting a refund or a differential of the seats and they told me that since I had accepted the "alternative link" I waived all kind of compensation and refund policy for my tickets.”
“Stubhub sucks I've been purchasing my tickets with them for years never had a problem until now so I bought tickets to a dodger game plus parking preferred parking and it didn't want to download and I had to purchase another parking at the game I called to see what we could do since I didn't use it they said they can't give me my money or can't be transferred to a different game so I'm out luke 80 bucks sucks and I'm no longer buying tickets through stubhub and they deserve zero stars..”
“Sold tickets 3 months ago and never received a payment. I spoke with 6 different StubHub agents and all agreed that the error was on StubHub end and that I would be receiving a payment. Still have not received a payment or an answer to why. They told the sale was cancelled 2 days after the event so I was unable to use the tickets. I asked why the sale was canceled and was told it was because the buyer never received the tickets. I asked them to explain how that was my fault because the tickets were pre-uploaded onto StubHubs site. Also I received an email from StubHub saying that the sale was made and the tickets had been successfully transferred to buyer. They know there error was on there end but every time I contact them they just tell me that they will escalate the issue to the payment processing team and I will be receiving my payment in 5-8 business days. It’s been 3 months now and still no payment. Sleezy company”
“I purchased two premium tickets to the Rangers vs. Dodgers game- 5 rows behind third base- for $690.46. As a lifelong Dodgers fan, my mother was thrilled. She drove four hours to the game, excited to celebrate her milestone 55th birthday in a meaningful way.
Instead, she was told at the gate that the tickets were invalid.
She had called StubHub the night before, alarmed that she hadn't received them. She was told not to worry that the tickets were confirmed and would be delivered the day of the game. They never came.
On gameday, StubHub downgraded her to two $93 tickets in Section 117. Not even close to what I purchased despite there being seats available in the same section. And then, insultingly, she was sent a $9 discount code as compensation.
When I tried to escalate, I was told by Anna Lee, who claimed to be the highest point of escalation, that there was nothing further that could be done. She recited policies rather than taking accountability for a failure that clearly lies with your platform.
That is unacceptable.”
“I would do negative stars if I could. This place ruined my grandsons birthday. 20 days before tickets were paid for and 1 hour before the event tickets were still not received and just got the run around from Stubhub.”
“They forgot to let me know my tickets were refunded to primal owner and had to go to event just to get told my tickets were refunded and they could not get me new tickets cuz they were sold out and all I got was a full refund”
“Purchased tickets for Matt Matthew’s 3 months before show date. Was told I would receive my tickets day of. Day comes and they tell me there was an issue with my purchased tickets and they’d place us somewhere new. We accepted that. We get to the show and STILL NO TICKETS. No explanation as to why. Just told us we’d get a full refund. I’ll never go through them again.”
“StubHub completely failed us today! We purchased tickets to a concert- Pat Benatar- for tonight, the tickets were supposed to be emailed to me, when I didn’t receive it and went to look at my order with confirmation number, it said the tickets were unavailable and there was no substitute. I will NEVER use this site again, refund not available for up to 8 days. -You buy tickets to a concert, they charge your bank and then don’t give you the tickets! Complete SCAM!!!”
“Do not use StubHub. They screwed me on Master Tickets literally 15 hrs before Sunday event. Can’t get my money back. Excuse after excuse. Never again”
“These guys suck!!! I had some problems with a seller and they agreed to refund my money so i bought 2 new tickets. A few days later, i got an email stating they resolved the issue with the seller and i got a cryptic email with links to open the day of the concert. No more refund. Now I'm stuck with 4 tickets instead of the 2 i wanted and if i relist them, I'll have to eat $200 because of their fees. Stick with Ticketmaster. Way smoother!!! What a waste of time and money!!”
“Purchased pre sale Chris brown tickets for NJ in April. Got a text today saying the seller couldn't buy the tickets a month later and they offered me worse seats and a 11 dollar voucher. I opted for a full refund and I will be going through a different place to buy tickets in a diff state terrible business practice. Do better. If the tickets aren't garenteed don't offer them simple as that. And the fact they said you prob won't even get your tickets until day of the even absolutely not red flag all around will never be using them again”
