“Bought tickets to Lady Gaga August concert back in March. Got email stating tickets were available for mobile transfer, but could never get the tickets to transfer to my Ticketmaster account. Spent many hours on phone, in chat and on email with C/S being assured I would get tickets or replacement tix by concert date. Spent time and much money to go to Seattle but tickets never showed up. Always told problem being "elevated" but no resolution. 5 minutes prior sent "replacement ticket link"-but link stated "no replacement tickets available for this event". Then told I could finally request refund but having spent over $1000 to travel to Seattle was extremely upset. Tried to cancel Tix early on when problems arose but was told "all sales are final". Would have canceled and just repurchased tix, but they would not allow even though they were aware that we couldn't get the tickets. Although C/S reps were nice they were worthless as none of them-and there were at least a dozen-could resolve the issue. This is second time we couldn't get tickets we bought from StubHub. Will never use them again.”
“Never received tickets to event. Was told they would arrive by mail the day of event. They did finally arrive 2 days after event. I was eventually refunded ticket price, but I had been planning going to event for months and taken time off of work. Completely ruined my plans for the weekend. We were very disappointed. No
compensation for that. Missed time at work and finding out the day of event. If I had a hotel booked I would have lost that money as well. I will never do business with them again. I had contacted them several times leading up to event letting them know I still hadn’t received tickets. They kept reassuring me they would arrive on time. Where is the accountability and respect for your customer’s time. Another example of a big corporation who cares about nothing but profit. Their guarantee is a joke. “If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience was infuriating. I bought tickts for a concert and am flying out to Chicago to go to this event. They canceled my account without notifying me, claiming there was suspicious activity. I have not had any issues with my cc and so I called. I was not able to speak to someone higher that customer support. I was not given an answer to what they were doing to resolve this issue. I was not given an option to replace my tickets. I wasnt even told what happened on the account to cause a lock out. I bought the tickets months in advance and they were worth 500$ each and the same tickets are now going for $1600 each. I am beyond angry that they were not willing to secure me tickets in the same section that were available when I paid for them so far in advance. They would not even guarantee me a refund. I kept being apologized to. I dont want apologies, I want you to do better.”
“Stub Hub is a rip off i will never use this company again. I purchased 3 tickets for Monstor truck, and they charged me for parking and insurance for the tickets. I did not approve those add ons. If you want tickets for events dont use Stub Hub. They will only over charge you.”
“we purchased two tickets for $304 to sleeping beauty ballet 4 moths prior to the date. Just few nights to the date we received the tickets. We were so much looking forward to it. When we got to the theatre, they told us the performance was cancelled but no one tried to reach us informing of cancellation. The theatre told us that they have informed their customers by emails about the cancellation but since we had bought them from Stubhub they are not responsible for any refunds. So we asked how much were the tickets purchased from the theatre directly, the manager told us $40 each!!!! So we had paid $304 as opposed to $80. We called Stubhub immediately on spot and they were giving us hard time denying the cancellation. We had to get the theatre manager to write and confirm that the program is canceled and we emailed it to them. In a few days we got an email that they are processing our refund and it will take 8 days , this was back in May. Now we are in end of August and still there is no news of a refund on our credit care. I tried to reach them by chat and their answer below is so ridiculous . They are bunch of crooks and God knows who and how they running this operation?!!!!”
“I purchased two tickets on 07/25 from Stub Hub, Tickets were confirmed. On 7/31 tickets were cancelled by seller. It has been OVER A MONTH, and I have note received a refund. Meanwhile ticket prices have gone way up. I believe this is why they were cancelled in the first place. Now, I do not have tickets, and the Money that I need to buy new tickets (worse seats at a higher price) has not been returned. I have spoken with "Customer Service" 7-8 times, and every time they tell me to wait 5-8 days and the refund will be credited to my account. This reseller is not good. Go somewhere else.”
“We purchased tickets through StubHub in June for a concert, trusting their so-called “FanProtect Guarantee” (see attached screenshot). The guarantee promises valid tickets or a full refund—don’t believe it.
On the very day we were finally able to download our tickets, we logged in only to find they had ALREADY been transferred—without our knowledge or authorization. We immediately contacted StubHub (less than 3 hours later) and explained the situation. Our case was “escalated” to the fraud department, and we were told we’d receive a call or email with a resolution in a few days.
A full week later, after hearing nothing, we called back only to be told that the “resolution team” had decided our only option was to dispute the charge with our credit card company. That’s it. No help, no replacement tickets, no refund—just a brush-off. When we referenced the FanProtect Guarantee (which is supposed to cover exactly this kind of issue), customer support had nothing to offer.
StubHub’s guarantee is worthless. They do not stand by their promises, and their “support” is just a runaround. If you value your money and peace of mind, buy your tickets elsewhere. This company does not protect its customers.”
“The worst company for buying tickets. They play tricks on people, selling tickets they don't have. When you try to download them, a sign appears saying the transfer has closed. You can never get them, and when you call, they give you the runaround and tell you you have to wait for the seller to respond, which never happens. They're also not responsible for returning your money. You have to call the bank and cancel them. It's a disaster! We waited four days for a response until the day of the event, and they never gave us a solution.”

Reminder that's two tickets. I purchased these almost two months in advance. Set up travel and hotels just to have the seller say he dont have tickets less than 24 hours out. “Do not buy from this company. They're not needed, just go straight to the source. They are not refundable, and even if they send you the wrong ones they will not refund. They sent us fast lane tickets which we never wanted and were then unable to get the tickets we did want. They did not refund. They offer for you to try and sell them on their site but then you can't get the pass code to get onto your own site after that. Regardless is not up to you to have to sell the tickets that they sell to you by mistake to begin with. PayPal did not honor and so neither will your bank. I spoke with a woman who handles tickets at a concert and she said loudly do not use StubHub. She claims they have scammed thousands of people. With the fast lane scam they pull.”
“I strongly advise against purchasing tickets from this company. My experience was a nightmare; they sold me fake tickets. When I arrived at the venue, the staff informed me that my tickets didn’t scan. To make matters worse, StubHub refused to replace them or issue a refund. “Very upset I bought tickets to an event and then 24hrs later they tell me my tickets are unavailable so they are giving me new seats/tickets and there's nothing I can do about it to change it. “I purchased tickets from StubHub almost a year ago as a Christmas present for my two young daughters. These tickets were supposed to be for a Disney show they have been looking forward to all year. The event is tonight. It starts in two hours, and I still have no tickets.
StubHub support told me they would email me back within 20 minutes with a resolution. That was hours ago. I received nothing. Their “FanProtect Guarantee” means nothing in practice — a refund does not undo the damage of ruining an event and a gift that was planned a year in advance.
This is not a minor inconvenience. It is a complete failure to provide the product I paid for, after holding my money for nearly a year. The stress and disappointment StubHub has caused my family is unacceptable.
I will never use StubHub again, and I want others to be warned. If you are considering purchasing from them, know that you risk losing not just your money, but also the entire experience you are paying for. StubHub cannot be trusted to deliver tickets as promised.
Desired Resolution: Immediate accountability and stronger consumer protections. Families should not be treated this way.”

They wanted me to wait outside the venue and listen t music while waiting on them. They refused to refund my money. I will never spend another dime thru Stubhub. And I have spent thousands!!”
