Buyer beware. StubHub is not bad when it "works" but a nightmare that can cost you thousands out of pocket and a horrible experience the same day you're supposed to be having a good time. There’s a chance you will be left stranded in front of your venue either having to buy other tickets or just not be able to attend. They are a ticket reseller that do not actually possess the tickets. They will tell you that your purchase is "protected" but you better make sure you keep screenshots of all your chats when you are trying to resolve an issue of your tickets not being delivered. If you don’t get the issue resolved by the time the event has passed, they will use that as their mantra for not honoring their “guarantee”. I used StubHub a few times before the event on September 13th with so-so experience, but I’ve learned my very expensive lesson and will never use them again. Experience: I purchased tickets for a football game a month prior to the event. I received an email saying I am “guaranteed”, and that you may not get your tickets until the day of the event but “don’t worry, you’re protected”. Never received the promised email and early the morning of the event (around 6 am), I asked StubHub to retransfer the tickets. I received an email from StubHub at 9:55 am saying that the seller had retransferred the tickets and to look for an email from the seller. When I didn’t receive anything, yet again, I started using their chat function at about 10:15 am. BTW, good luck finding a phone number to call and speak with an actual person. Their chat requires you to use a virtual assistant first before finally getting to a “live agent”. Chat experience: I’m presuming my chat kept disconnecting because of the volume since my phone had full bars and I was sitting in front of the entrance watching people go in while I typed away on my phone. Be careful when chatting and take screenshots. I was informed the day after, when I was finally able to stay connected with “someone”, that there was no record of my attempting to get assistance. StubHub will also use this as their mantra and continually say that they would love to help you but since the event has passed and there is “no record” of issues reported prior to the event for your order, there is nothing they can do. Now, I’m having to dispute the charge with my CC company because I never received the goods or services I paid for.

Sold me Brian Adams tickets in Canada, in Kamloops for 282 bucks charged my credit card in American funds , want my money back , fraud ! Great concert but tickets were 282.64 then grabbed 401.22 on my card. Beware of stubhub selling in canadian and charging USD ! Shame on ya !

Stubhub scammedme and the tickets were not as advertised. Customer service refused to assist to rectify the situation. This is the first and last time I ever buy from Stubhub

Everything!! I bought tickets for a concert scheduled to be performed on Sunday, June 02/2024 at the Ridgefield Playhouse. Upon arriving at the venue, there was a sign stating "Due to unforeseen legal circumstances, our performance with The Guess Who has been cancelled." Upon learning of this, I immediately called StubHub explaining the situation and requested a refund. For over a year now, I have been gaslighted being told that the concert is not cancelled but is postponed. This is a total lie! StubHub failed to contact the venue to confirm that the concert indeed was cancelled. I am constantly being told that my refund request is being escalated with no results. I cannot speak to anyone on that committee to redress the issue. Anyone that I speak to at StubHub just stalls me and are incapable to getting me my refund. It's easy to see why StubHub has such a terrible reputation and that they are not sanctioned by the Better Business Bureau as they have received many complaints. The general impression from others is that StubHub is a fraud, irreputable and just a plain ripoff. I am spreading the word for anyone looking for tickets to avoid StubHub like the plague. If I could, I would give less than one star.

Intentionally misleading posted red NOT chili peppers group tickets under red HOT chili peppers group alerts, it's a scam, a fraud, intentional misleading, I can not believe Stubhub would engage in such unlawful practices, would not refund me money for the tickets, this band is a fraud!

Date of event is 09/14/25. I ordered a parking space ticket worth $78+. Waited for the ticket until the event. Tried to get it a week before, but no luck. I chat 3x morning of 09/14 with an agent, but the transfer did not arrive. I ended up buying another parking space in the area for $22. Until now, 09/18/25, still waiting for my refund of which they promised. Very stressful just for a parking space. Attached is a different parking company.

Myself and friends went to Vegas for the Canelo Crawford fight. It was always the plan to get tickets the night of the fight, it’s something I’ve done through another company and worked out well. I paid for 6 tickets and we all travelled to the stadium after 20 minutes of the tickets not coming through email I went to online chat, it was a “30 minute” wait which turned out to be an hour! So we had already missed some of the prelims. We would still catch the main and co main event. However after refreshing my Email account over 100 times my tickets still never game through! £1334.11 had left my account still no tickets, I finally get through to support, “sorry sir your seller doesn’t have the tickets” wtf! I’ve just spent all that money and have no tickets. Ok refund my money. Yes sir we can do that for you after an investigation, it will take 10 working days! So 6 of us all dressed up ready for the fight and we couldn’t attend because someone was allowed to sell us the tickets they didn’t have. The waste of time and money from this! As you can imagine what I want to say about stubhub wouldn’t be allowed, so in nice terms you’re an absolute disgrace! I’ll actively look to warn as many as people as possible to avoid your company. Thankfully your company is now tradeable NYSE, I hope your company gets shorted into oblivion!!!

I purchased concert tickets and parking through Stubhub. The parking was offsite at a hotel. I followed the instructions and when I arrived to park I was told the hotel no longer works with that company and I could not park there. I had to find and pay for parking elsewhere. I called the company and was told they would process a refund. They have not. I contacted Stubhub the following morning and they told me they couldn’t help me because I didn’t call before the event. I believed I had covered myself by contacting the parking company. I expected Stubhub to help when their vendor did not. I was scammed through their site and they refused to make it right. I won’t use Stubhub again.

Do not buy from stubhub, there fan protect is a complete scam, I had bought tickets from the stubhub and my tickets were later revoked from me before the concert. I was on the phone with three different customer support agents two of which told me they had contacted the seller and I would be resent my ticket shortly, which was a complete lie. The last customer support agent then found some minute detail about my ticket sale which for some reason would warrant that I don't get a return on the ticket that I had purchased and paid for. I then contacted the company several times for a refund all for which they refused to refund me even though I had read the fan protect statement and I should've been protected. They're fan protect statement is meaningless and they will refuse to refund you if something goes wrong with your ticket sale and/or make little to no effort to help you obtain a ticket. There customer support is also god awful one of the agents I spoke on the phone with had a phone that made her impossible to communicate with, it was constantly lagging, breaking up and extremely screechy. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I would highly recommend ticketmaster as an alternative.

Stub hub is selling fake tickets on their website for T Pain concert on September 18th happening at the Puyallup Fair. They did not check the dates clearly and there is a different concert happening that same day. Ive talked to them and they still won't take down the date listed on their website

HORRID SERVICES!!! Did not receive tickets until 48 minutes after the event started. Purchased new ticket at event. Contacted StubHub for a refund but was told the event had passed so they would not refund because I didn’t give them an opportunity to fix the issue. When I told them that I did contact them and had screenshots to prove it, the conversation ended quickly. Called customer support and they wanted me to add a credit card to my Apple account so they could provide a refund. Seemed shady so I said no. I asked for their email address and was told to google it. When I asked for it again, they hung up on me. This cannot be a legitimate company!

Never buy a parking pass from stubhub. Paid $32.50 for a pass and the garage it was for was not even charging anything to park. Even if they were charging, it would have only cost $7 for the 4 hours we were there. Stubhub will not give a refund. Shady practice that should be against the law.

I received tickets today for a show that was over a year ago. They refused a refund. Enough said. I will never recommend OR purchase from STUB HUB ever again! BEWARE!!!!!

Stub hub change my seat ticket and they would not give refunds because their sales are finals and I tried ti re sell the tickets to a loss of 450dls. Don't buy from Stubhub.

I bought tickets and a parking pass on the StubHub app to a major cfb game a week in advance. The parking pass was not sent to me until 4 mins before kick off, making it useless. Stubhub refused refund because I did not step out of the stadium and contact them during the game. They fall back on their “policies and conditions” to deny the refund. They stole my money and the chat agent was very good at copying and pasting her cold replies. They are no better than scammers.

I've used stub hub many times no issues, last week I arrived at concert and could not find my tickets, I had emails confirming and receipts, the next day they even emailed me asking how it was. I went to the box office for help they looked it up the order number, my email, my name-nothing, no worries you can buy 2 more and get a refund tomorrow-I did buy 2 more I was not missing the concert. I contacted stub hub next day via chat spoke to 2 people they could not find my tickets and informed me they would send up for investigation. I did not hear nothing back so I contacted then again today via chat and he immediately found them by the order number. he told me its because I paid for them as a guest 1. no I did not (I'm always logged in. 2. he could not explain why no one before him could see that and or why no one looked. so I called- that person informed me that since I did not file the day of the concert they wont refund (remember this is the 5th person and 5 days after the concert and the 1st time Ive heard this one) I spent the next 9 minutes demanding a supervisor then sat on hold almost 40 waiting ( at this point I don't care about the money, I cant stand thief's and this sounds like a really cool scam , I mean look they got me for 4 tickets). supervisor comes on the phone and reiterates that I was a guest and its too late- so how do I know I'm a guest he tells me I should read my emails (ummm yeah you mean the 28 you have sent me since I purchased the tickets I did not get) no he wants me to read "the 1st one, it tells me I'm a guest" so I read it to him and ask him where it says I'm a guest, he says right there the email says it ummm nope read it to him over and over -asking every time - so he says it tells me right under view order -It says "View your order Use your access code to view your order: QZTTT Keep your access code handy – you'll need it every time you view your order." I don't see guest there so he says no you have to click on the button and that's where you will find it =so he had me looking for an invisible word and the the idiot because I could not find it. It don't make since to me that I was logged in when I bought them and was still logged in when I arrived at the concert but somehow logged out when I paid -so I personally this this is a scam - all 3 in todays conversation found them by the order number, when I called I had to input the last 4 of the order number and as soon as I did the automated system call me by name (but yeah I'm a guest) I disputed the charge on my credit card and deactivated my acct, BEWARE! That 100% pledge means nothing when they hide your tickets

Sold me section 2 tickets and received section 209. Forwarded to my wife and she didn’t know the section but called me when at the event. I called stub hub and pretty much after an hour and forty minutes can’t do anything since the tickets weee used. Offered me a little 25% voucher to buy more tickets from them. Yeah not going to do that. Will not ever use this company plus their fees are stupid ridiculous.
