“Bought a pair of tickets to a concert and arrived at our seats to find out they were not together, despite being listed as such. Could not get a refund or credit from StubHub despite immediately reaching out. This company is complete trash - use a diff ticket reseller.”
“StubHub is a trash company. I bought tickets for a Beyonce concert on July 4th. They told me the tickets would be released to me 24 hours before the concert. I never got them. They kept telling me to wait all day for them and they would get back to me by 5. It turns out that they let the reseller sell them even though he was waiting to buy them from someone else. And that person never gave them to him. Then they offered me lower quality tickets that were cheaper and would not refund the $300 difference.
And then when we get to the venue at Northwest Stadium. The tickets do not work and we were held outside for a while before they finally decided to let is in.
What kind of company allows people to resell tickets that they dont even have. Where is the verification process.
They also would not refund or compensate me back in anyway.
Trash!”
“I never received tickets to a college softball game. Stub hub says the tickets were emailed to me via ticketmaster and ncaa. I have no emails from either. Their email to me, post order, shows that the tickets would actually come from Paciolan. I have never used Paciolan nor have I received any communication from them. I have tried to talk to stub hub the day of, the day after the purchase, and recently. I ended up purchasing other tickets from seatgeek that same day. Its been a frustrating experience. A rep mentioned they would give a 25% discount and possibly more. I haven't even received the 25% discount.
Stub hubs internal dispute process is slow and not transparent. I received no updated emails about the case and had to frequently call for updates. The case took months to complete at which time I could not dispute with PayPal or my credit card company because the transaction was too old. Purposeful? I think so.”
“They scammed me 2 times. My credit card rejected the charges twice and I won in both occasions.
They said I did not sell and transfer my tickets to my seller but I have confirmation that I did. They still charged me and said it was a problem on my end. So they sold my tickets, refused to give me money for my sold tickets. They are a total scam.”
“Terrible service from StubHub. After weeks of not being able to accept the tickets I purchased, hours spent on hold and in the chat box, I still never received the tickets. They told me to wait until 2 hours before the event and then they could give me either replacement tickets or a refund, and they never got back to me. After asking someone to call me multiple times in the chat box the day of the show, a representative named Simon told me “you need to wait, sorry” and ended the chat. I paid a lot of money for the tickets and traveled to get to the event, and ended up having to purchase new tickets right before the show. Have talked to multiple people who have had similar experiences as well.”
“Hidden service fees, with charges that are inflated to start with. DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE GO TO THE VENUE FIRST AND SEE WHAT THE TICKET FACE VALUE PRICE IS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. SCAM SCAM SCAM EXTRA MONEY FROM YOU EVERY TIME. THEY DON'T GIVE A YOU KNOW WHAT, BUYER BEWARE”
“I purchased 2 tickets for the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame Quarterfinals on July 10th, 2025 South Court Chairs, Row 1, Seats 45-46. I paid $417.80. The only way that I found out the event was cancelled was by standing in the rain for 3 hours. I never received an email feom StubHub with any information. When I asked for my money back, StubHub DEMANDED THAT I HAD TO GET PROOF THE EVENT WAS CANCELLED. The event sent the following email and a PDF which was immedietly forwarded to StubHub.
Over 2 months have gone by and no one at StubHub will assist with returning my money for an event that never occured. I have spent thousands of dollars with StubHub thru the years and the way I am being treated as a customer is shameful.

Hello Tom,
I heard you’re trying to receive compensation from StubHub. Please find attached to this email a PDF Confirmation that Thursday matchplay was cancelled and was a complete rainout.
My best wishes for luck with StubHub! I’ve heard some have had luck but many haven’t. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.

“If I could give stubhub negative stars I would !! My anniversary was yesterday and I bought tickets for the mets game 3 weeks ago . I had the tickets and could see them on the app . However when I got to the ball park and paid for parking the tickets were no longer on my app and says they have been returned !! How embarrassing was this ?! There customer service is a joke ! Very rude and unprofessional could not help me at all ... Not even to get different seats to get into the game cause I was there already . Now they are giving me a full refund and nothing more ! I do not recommend this app and I will never order from here again...”
“So I paid for two tickets to BreezyBowl in Las Vegas on August 9th and the concert was September 20th so here it is the day before the concert I still have no tickets so I’m getting nervous now it’s the day of still no tickets I reached out to customer service and a woman told me that the tickets will be in by 4pm I’m like that’s reaching cause my concert start at 7pm so I’m getting ready it’s now 4:15 I have no tickets I contacted customer service again and someone from the department says “ I apologize but those tickets aren’t available anymore and I’m not sure what happened “ I said “ what do mean I bought these a month ago and paid over $500+ so I been scammed ? “ she was like I’m sending you new replacement tickets so I went from section 200 with aisle seats to now section 244 with middle seats and having a giant pole in my way at the concert that will be my first and last time dealing with STUBHUB”
“Misrepresentation of seating arrangements. From the seating arrangement photos, I believed I had purchased seating closer to the stage from the balcony. What I really got was balcony seating above last row on the ground floor. It is adjacent to one of the suites. If that was the case I would have purchased the last row seats for a much cheaper price. Each tix was $250 bucks a piece. There was a plexiglass partition separating me from both the last row and the suite area which made the view horrible. The view was totally obstructed by glare. This was not presented in the seating photo by StubHub. Once I got the chance to contact StubHub and told tgem my issues, I was told that my tickets were used and no compensation could be refunded. I was also told that is should have done my own research on the seating arrangements! How could I have done that if I didn't enter the area? Before I could add more the chat ended .”
“Offered me parking across the street for 25 .after I paid it was 1.7 miles and I never got my money back .i had to pay for parking again. Escalated the case 4x to no avail. Never l will inise them again. Buyer beware. Switch and bait”
“Sold my tickets with the direction of Stubhub and they are claiming I didn’t fulfill the sale although I provided proof of sale. Very disappointing as I am not out money.”
“Stub hub is HORRIBLE. Never EVER buy tickets from them. they are secondary sellers and promise tickets that they don’t even own. I ordered 2 floor seats for Adam Sandler and they sent me tickets in the furthest section 110 all the way at the top saying they’re the same price ($250) as our floor seats. They wouldn’t give me similar tickets to the ones I purchased and said it would take 8 business days to get me my money back. The concert is in 4 days. They wouldn’t offer me even a discount on the tickets they sent me. How are floor seats and seats up in the nose bleed section both $250 a piece? They also had the same tickets still for sale on their website, for around the same price and said they don’t own those tickets so they can’t give me those. MAKES NO SENSE. I ordered better seats through ticket master for the same price. Hopefully stub hub gives me my money back ASAP. NEVER USE STUB HUB!”
“I paid for my tickets two months before the show, and it was less than 24 hours before that show that they would tell me what seats I was in. Also, I way overpaid. Tickets were still available from the venue and were substantially less than what I paid. I guess that is my fault for assuming Stubhub would have as good or better pricing for a concert. I will never use them again.”
“Not even one star worthy. Scammed for tickets that didn’t exist. Charged $100 service fee. Received down graded seats by $250 and they refused to partially refund to the cheap seats. Never using StubHub again. Price gouging scammers.”
“I will never use StubHub again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them.
I bought a legit ticket through StubHub and drove nearly 3 hours to see a show. When I got to the venue, the ticket wouldn’t transfer to the official app, and the venue refused to let me in. StubHub’s so-called “FanProtect Guarantee” meant absolutely nothing — I was left outside the venue after wasting hours of driving, gas money, and the entire price of the ticket.
The worst part? StubHub provided no real-time support to actually fix the issue when it mattered most. What good is a “guarantee” if you only find out it’s worthless after you’ve already missed the show?
StubHub is unreliable, their system is broken, and their customer service is useless when you need them most. If you care about actually getting into the event you paid for, don’t trust StubHub. Buy directly from the venue or not at all.”
“Bought six tickets to Les Miscabout two months ahead. New to StubHub and when offered parking I bought it as well. Tickets were not delivered immediately as it is clear that actual tickets are not delivered until all seats in row are sold. Ended up at extreme outside edge of row. Tickets were finally delivered on Ticketmaster about a week before the event. StubHub also offered parking which I bought for $27 plus a $9 service fee. The lot was a half mile away! Parking was available across the street for $15 at the time of the event. StubHub is a terrible rip off.”
“Absolutely terrible. They sold my tickets out from under me and couldn’t give me new tickets because they were sold out. Will not be using stub hub again.”
