“I purchased tickets for Hamilton and bought all of my tickets together (7 tickets for our group) almost 2 months in advance and then I receive an email literally a day and a half before the show telling me “the seller is having a hard time providing the tickets but they are offering an alternative and a credit of $200”
Well the tickets I purchased were dead center and just a few rows from the stage. Now we get to spend almost the same amount of money to be pushed off to the side and in the back rows. I have to choose between a full refund a day and a half before the show or disappoint 6 young teenagers and not go at all. This is incredibly shady. Never again will I order from StubHub.”

“I purchased two "great" tickets ($122 ea plus $95 'convenience fee' $345 total) for Chicago / Earth, Wind & Fire concert at Ameris Amphitheater in Alpharetta, Georgia. The link they sent me went to Ticketmaster, where it said there was no such order. After two online chats with their agents and one phone call over a period of 3 days, all I got was BS that I was guaranteed to receive my tickets before the concert. Biting my nails till four hours before the concert, I was told my tickets were not available, BUT I could receive "lawn" tickets and receive $4 back. I opted for the refund and finally received it. What a SCAM! They buy probably 20 good tickets and 200 cheap tickets to bait-and-switch at the last minute. Only 20 lucky people will actually get good tickets so that they "appear" to be honest. NEVER BUY FROM STUBHUB. I'm just glad I didn't incur travel and/or lodging expenses only to be ripped off for the tickets.”
“Purchased tickets on Stubhub for $680.27 to Morgan Wallen/Jellyroll concert here in Tampa originally set for 07/12/2024. Link was sent and when I clicked to accept, tickets would not transfer. Concert cancelled and reset for 10/04/2024. Customer service tried to resend link to me on more than 1 occasion and link never worked. So, I have paid $680.27 and never received tickets. Customer service has told me several times that by 10/04/2024, they would either get me sellers tickets (or comparable seats) or issue refund. I asked for refund since goods I paid for have never been provided. Stubhub will not refund which I believe is in violation of consumer protection acts and and unfair and deceptive trade practice. I believe refund will allow me to ensure I get tickets to show and not be held hostage until day of show. Will never purchase tickets from Stubhub again.”
“Stub Hub is absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I am writing the Md Attorney general about it. I bought tickets in row P for my grandchildren to see Mamma Mia. After holding on the phone for 45 minutes with them on the day of the show, on the way to the venue, they told me the seller never had the tickets I bought but that he was offering row T, five rows further back. They told me I had better take them. I took them. After holding on the phone for another hour, they told me that he didn't have those tickets either. Horrible horrible experience - completely fraudulent.”
“My account was hacked and someone bought a ticket using my gift card balance. 6 weeks have gone by and still no refund. I have made 20 calls with no result. DO NOT USE STUBHUB. They have no customer service. I may call the attorney general of Ohio and report them. They are the worst ticket scam out there.”

“Trying to go to a NFL game and are tickets never did transfer. Reading other post this seems to be there normal standard procedure. I will never use Stub Hub again. I was told I could get a refund. They never sent me the link. I did get 2 surveys. Gave them a 0 on both. Called the next day and said it was too late for a refund. This company just doesn’t care. The word needs to get out and not use them for transactions. The BBB gave this company a F. Wish I knew this beforehand. Never again.”
“I purchased two tickets for a Kevin Hart comedy special for Saturday August 24,2024 for Portland Oregon. We drove 1.5 hours here and never received our mobile tickets. Every time we clicked on the link it sent us to an error page. The company told me to contact Ticketmaster despite not having any dealings with Ticketmaster. Only offered me $150 in credit and a refund. The show is sold out and we are left out in Portland to make another 1.5 hour drive back home. Waste of money, gas and time. I do jot reconnect using this company.”
“Bought tickets months ago. I always take a screen shot of the tickets before I purchased them. I purchased concert tickets with Woodforest Club attached. I never got the Woodforest and I got my tickets only 4 hours before going to the concert. This was stressful”
“StubHub is the absolute worst ticket company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a ticket for an event to be beside my group then received an "upgraded" that was placed in the same section but completely away from my group. I was not asked id I wanted an upgrade or I would have politely declined and searched for another ticket. I asked for a refund but was told not due to receiving the "correct" ticket even through it was not the ticket I intended to purchase. StubHub basically just told me to deal with it so now I'm stuck with a ticket in the wrong row away from my group which was not the reason for me buying through StubHub for the exact seat I saw and purchased to be by my group. What if this ticket was purchased for a child to sit by their parents and they were just randomly "upgraded" and relocated without the option of exchange or refund?? StubHub sucks, never recommend and will never use again.”
“Horrible experience trying to get my refund for a cancelled concert. I was told I would receive the refund within 10 business day and had to call multiple times to escalate the issue when I had not received my refund after 20 business days, and was told it will be 10 more business days before I get my refund. Will not use them again.”
