The ground beef with the blue tag. Sorry, threw away package. The hamburger was grainy, as though sawdust was in it. Virtually no taste. Don't buy it.

I am an Asian Hijabi female and have been buying from the same Aldi for 4 years. Today morning when I went to the checkout till the staff asked me to pick up my bags which I have never experienced. It was very humiliating as I didn’t see her asking anyone ahead of me. And when I enquired why is she asking me as she’s being racist. Her response was that it’s an Aldi policy. Why the policy is not effective with the other customers? My question to everyone reading this post is how many times have you been asked to pick up their empty grocery bags to see what’s under.

Aldi's sometimes okish with some products .I buy mainly at m& s or waitrose and not often for one and two items at Aldi's,however why at Aldi's at the orchardson streets branch is so made up and unpleasant ,It's a real turnoff. Bec you can be serious without being unpleasant and latele this happens if you try to say hello when leaving the store, he frowns at you I find this sort of behavior offensive, and I also feel insulted.( Bec I I am kind and courteous to everyone there, it's offensive ,and i tell you the securitu need to speakto the sec urity staff there, talk to all of them ,that they need to be more courteous annd Respectful to valued customers or they lose them. It's happened more than one but ime, and I'm afraid to go back, because I find this very daunting and uncalled for. I'm not telling him how to do his job; but if that's how he does his job. Then it is just not good enough .. he's just being mean but it's just not good enough. (One doesn't have to have a badly made up face to be a good security.Comeon.

Worst meat ever. Today I’ve eaten the worst beef medallions ever. It was tasteless and impossible to chew. It says 21 days matured but it was awful. I would like to know how they manage to provide such awful meat. My advice for everyone: Go buy from a proper butcher. You buy it cheap from Aldi but after spending all the energy, it comes to the same price. What a disappointment

Always buy Aldis own sliced white bread, but lately it has tasted and smelt very 'yeasty', and not pleasant.

Staff at Muller road Bristol are poorly trained and rude- wanted to pay for goods at the self service. Instead, the sales assistant looked into my bags and then demand maned to see receipts. And treated me like a shoplifter- clearly one that wanted to pay for goods at the till. Was made to feel like a criminal. Their online complaints process doesn't work ie doesn't recognise the postcode for the store. Had to send letter in post - still no response.

Ruined clothing - worst customer service I placed a click and collect order. Went to the store, collected the shopping and went home. Noticed a bottle of bleach had leaked over a large number of items. Called Aldi who wanted photos of this and told me to go back to the store. The store replaced those items in that particular bag and refunded my click and collect charge along with a token bunch of flowers. I then noticed whilst in the store that a bleach stain had now shown up on my T-shirt. I showed the manager who told me to call customer service again. I did this and sent photos of my damaged item and a link to the website showing the cost of the £40 top. I was told that because I do not have a receipt (who keeps a receipt once you know you are keeping an item???) that they would only refund £30 in store vouchers. No kind of compensation for all the stress and inconvenience! Why would I want store vouchers for someone that I know longer want to shop at? Dealing with customer service both on the phone and through email is shocking. They genuinely don't care. No emotion at all and made me feel like my situation was insignificant. Now they are not even replying to my emails!!!!

I was charged for products that I did not purchase. I don't buy potatoes or chocolate due to being type 2 diabetic. Added to this that they want to search my bags before I'm allowed to use them. I thought that in the UK we were innocent until proven guilty.

I normally shop at Lidl but as Aldi Witham had self service tills put in I thought it would be quicker. Wrong. They are never open. Apparently not enough staff. Rotas need changing etc etc. Very annoying. Back to Lidl.

Money value you buy what you paid for . Date of experience: 28 May 2024

I went to Aldi Yeovil do my full weekly shop today and was disgusted when they demand to search my empty bag before they would serve me. I think it's disgusting that Aldi make you feel like a theft. I DO NOT STEAL The girl at the till and the manager of the Yeovil Aldi store were very rude and called me rude because I questioned it asking do I look like I would steal. They have no right to go through my bags. I thought that the customer was always right!! Aldi you will lose many customers by continuing with this so called policy one being me and all of my friends and family who I will tell what happened.

Once again I have had an issue at the Kidbrooke Aldi Uk store over staff wishing to rummage through my empty shopping bags before processing my shopping. This time I was called a ‘stupid woman’ by this young man called Luke when I told him I’d had this before more than once and with Aldi Customer Services online. I have just left £100 worth of shopping at the till and I do £200 shopping per week mostly in the Kidbrooke store because the staff are rude. Aldi has no right to rummage through my shopping bags. They are mine. If I walked out of the store with a trolley load of shopping unpaid for they would not stop me yet they think it’s ok to rummage through my empty bags when I’m trying to pay for my shopping.

I’ve just spent £114.21 at Aldi (Wragby Road Lincoln store) and the beans were labelled at 28pence, however at the checkout they wanted to charge me 42pence. I questioned this so the cashier called for the manager who said it was a mistake because of an overflow of 42pence stock which had been placed on the top shelf, labelled at 28pence. I suggested they remove that label as it was confusing and could I replace them with the 28pence beans? He told me they were out of stock but he refused to sell the 4 tins on the checkout at the advertised price or even at a reduction. I therefore asked them if I should go to Tesco instead to which he politely replied we don’t want you to go to Tesco but he still wasn’t willing to offer at least some kind of reduction as a gesture. So for the sake of 56pence this customer, on principle will not return to Aldi and they have lost my average weekly spend of £150. Tesco and Asda’s gain!! I have tried to add photos but it won’t upload from my iPhone

They have just put in self-service checkouts in my local Gainsborough Aldi store. When I went in all the tills were closed except the self-service. I asked which till was open and they said these pointing to the self-service. I said I had cash and looked at me as if I did not have a choice, they did open a till up But if I wanted cashback or some carrier bags, you cannot get from these from the self-service machines so why push them onto the people who don't want to use them?
