“I have been happy shopping weekly at Aldi, Sherburn for many years. Recently, I find items with no prices displayed. Finding someone to help is tricky as staff are all trying to meet targets getting stock out. Sometimes, I have to wait till they’ve finished stocking shelves to pick up an item myself. I don’t think it’s their fault though, just the policies in place for efficiency! Last week I needed 3 regular items in particular, but they weren’t available - coffee beans, noodles and vitamins. I drove to my next nearest store in Wetherby, and found all 3 items.”
“Decided to buy the Duck with plum sauce and pancakes. Absolutely delicious the duck had so much meat on it and you get so many pancakes. I will definitely buy it again 🤩”
“We bought Ashfield Grill Minted Lamb Shoulder Chops and what little meat on these mainly bones was fatty - literally 4 small bite full of meat per chops from a 2 chop pack at 420g must have been 400g of bone”
“Slim Well Salt and Pepper Chow Mein with chicken. This is advertised as being lightly spiced but in fact it is so peppery that it is difficult and unpleasant to eat. Helps you lose weight I guess if you can't eat it!”

“The ground beef with the blue tag. Sorry, threw away package. The hamburger was grainy, as though sawdust was in it. Virtually no taste. Don't buy it.”
“I am an Asian Hijabi female and have been buying from the same Aldi for 4 years. Today morning when I went to the checkout till the staff asked me to pick up my bags which I have never experienced. It was very humiliating as I didn’t see her asking anyone ahead of me. And when I enquired why is she asking me as she’s being racist. Her response was that it’s an Aldi policy. Why the policy is not effective with the other customers? My question to everyone reading this post is how many times have you been asked to pick up their empty grocery bags to see what’s under.”
