If I could give you a 0 I would! Shopped at Aldi in Wallsend for years. Been today and worker had absolutely shocking attitude! She has no customer service skills. Someone needs to send her back to training. Only problem is I never got her name. Won't ever step foot in Aldi again. Shocking experience.

This Aldi‘s was the dirtiest store I’ve ever seen. I had my little dachshund with me which I take everywhere and the store was so dirty that I had to hold him in my arms because he kept trying to lick the floor.there was food on the floor. He’s usually very good about that in a clean store. Then some person named Libby walked up to me who I had passed when I first walked into the store with my dog and told me that I would have to leave because the store doesn’t allow dogs. Why she didn’t tell me that when we first walked into the store I don’t know. I told her that we had been in the store for 30 minutes and we were almost done and we would not bring the dog back again . She said no you have to leave now or I’m gong to call the police. Never been treated so rudely in my life. She was loud and did this in front of other people in the store. It was so embarrassing. I will never be going back to that dirty disgusting store ever again.

Shocking customer service, the till assistant told me that I should have gone to the checkout instead of coming to her till after she let someone push infront of me, continued smirking. I asked for the manager the manager took her side I started recording the incident and he snatched the phone off me and pushed me to which I then pushed him back and banned me from his store. I asked for both their names but they wouldn’t provide me with it even though the customer service team said they need to be wearing their badge and provide the first name. I shop at aldi many times, so they’ve just lost a customer . The staff need serious training. The situation could have been handled completely differently if the manager just deescalated the situation instead of escalating it. I’ve worked in customer service before and I’ve never experienced anything like it. Aldi need to have a serious word with them because they’re bad for business! Awful customer service and I’ll never shop at aldi again. I’ve posted the interaction on TikTok and I hope people can avoid the Leeds road Thornbury store in Bradford

Hello team, I have always been a big fan of your Belmont fig roll biscuits, until the last box I bought when I was hugely disappointed that you seem to have changed the recipe, they were not even good,it wasn't an out of date box, in fact the usual ones I liked even if i had left them out to get hard! I went to pick one up today to try again, but sadly really they are not even palatble enough. I don't eat many biscuits but they were my go to, and only Aldi fig rolls! So sad about that.Otherwise Aldi is still a great store!

Aldi Queensville Stafford i have done part of our monthly shop by myself since I retired but my wife has come with me on the last 2 occasions. After last weeks experience in Aldi Queensville Stafford my wife said she wouldn't shop there again on principle! I have put up with bad behaviour because of keen prices but having been nearly hit by a pallet truck coming out of the rubber doors from the warehouse at a rate of knots with no apology and a male cashier talking non stop to someone else while serving us!! enough is enough. i wont wait around to have my bags checked. I have been associated with customer service for most of my working life and know good and bad when I see it. This store has much to learn.

Being asked to place my flat bags on the checkout (to which i complied) to then have a cashier who may pick her nose and scratch her dirty privates rifle through my bags which are bought and paid for looking for goods i am presumed to have stolen is an insult, not a quick glance, a proper rummage through When i am told this is because others ruin it for everyone else and everyone is now treated the same, i am obviously going to say so you treat everyone as thieves then, i then told her its not theft until someone has left the store and that some customers will feel embarrassed and insulted at this new rule, she said she was told to do this, i felt sorry for her because she is a cashier. BUT next time I'm asked to place my personal bag on the till it may contain a pair of my dirty underwear which she can then rummage with all she wants as i can carry what i want in my own bags that i bought, you see i treat others as they treat me, so if im treated liked scum i will let that person handle my scum

I ordered a $50 order online. When delivery time came, I received a text telling me the driver was having a hard time finding my address. About two minutes later after I text more directions, I received another text saying the order was delivered. I did not receive the order at all, so I called customer service, which is a terrible experience. I was put on hold many times, and the when I finally was given a refund it was only for the groceries. I needed another $14 for delivery charges. So I was transferred to a Specialist! She put me on hold more than once and finally said I would be given a gift card to spend at Aldis because of the inconvenience I had endured. But it turns out the gift card was only for the delivery charges they owed me ($14). As I only shop on line and this card has to be spent in store I have had to give it away. It is no use to me. I spent more than an hour on the phone, and it has left me very unhappy with Aldi, and will not shop there again.

I popped into my local Winchester branch of Aldi's this evening after a long drive home. At the checkout I was TOLD to put my flat folded bag on the conveyer belt. This was examined by the assistant and proved to be empty. I was fuming, but too tired after my journey to speak to the manager as I new I would be fobbed off. I know shops have a problem with shop lifting, but that's not my fault. Treating honest customers as thieves is not the way to go. I have looked on various websites this evening and found that many of your customers have experienced the same treatment, and feel as I do. Needless to say I won't be coming back to your store until you have stopped treating me and the many, many honest customers as thieves. I don't like being treated as one.

A Humiliating policy. I recently was on the recieving end of Aldi's new 'random' 'bag check' policy. Never felt insulted by a cashier before but there's a first for everything apparently. From reading reports online, this doesn't sound like something the staff are necessarily happy doing. I'm all for deterring shop lifting but the fact this is something they do randomly and no doubt reluctantly results in the customer in front of you not being asked to 'lift their bag to see there's nothing in it' And you being asked... Seriously, Humiliating. So if they want to enforce such a policy you either do it to everyone or no one. If you do it randomly, the implication is that you obviously feel singled out for looking 'suspicious'. I genuinely don't think I'll be going back because of this, I don't want to go shopping in a place where I might be 'randomly' selected Infront of other customers to prove I'm not a shoplifter.

Poor customer service and attitude, humilating experience. I visited the Northwich store recently where I have been a regular customer. However, this time, I received some very poor customer service. I went to get 4 pints of milk from the shelf. As I placed it in my trolley, a young female employee asked me if she could get in front of me to push a fully loaded trolley of milk in place. She was in a hurry and couldn't wait for me to finish. But I politely moved out of her way. After she pushed all the milk in place, she walked away as a 4 pint bottle fell down onto the floor and covered my trousers and suede boots in milk. I was soaked. I called after her to show her what had happened after her impatient actions. She shouted back at me and said that she hadn't done that and tried to blame me even when I had already moved out of her way and already had my milk in the trolley. She didn't come back to even ask me if I was ok or offer to help. I asked her if she was going to help clean the mess up, and she said with attitude, that's what she was going to do. She even looked amused at how I looked in the mess. To make matters worse, I was so upset and asked another female employee to find the manager for me. As I was explaining the situation to her, a co-worker (who wasn't even at the scene) began to back up the employee in a raised voice. I felt they were teaming up against me before I spoke to the manager, all in front of the other customers. I felt humiliated. The female manager eventually came out to see me. She was more understanding and apologetic, and said the other employees should not have got involved. She said I could use the toilet to dry myself off. I told her that I was just too upset to come back to the store again that I have shopped at for years. I left my trolley of shopping in the store and left, I didn't even retrieve the £1 coin. I had to wash my trousers on a hot wash and my boots are now ruined even after wiping the suede down, they smell of stale milk and are stained. Eventually, I got through to customer services, and I suggested to them to watch the CCTV to see exactly what had happened by the milk section. I was offered a voucher to spend in an Aldi store. It didn't even cover the cost of the boots to be fair, besides the whole experience. I will only shop occasionally in the Knutsford store. There is a much better attitude there and they are more helpful.

Cashiers have bad attention service located at South St Aldi. December 1, 2023. Against customers attending to use their cleaned cart, that's what customers wanted. Other cashiers know low-price products do not respect people —bad attention to customers. * We shop at Aldi for a price and pay not for free.
