We can see that your order was placed the Sunday before the bank holiday Monday when we were closed. Due to the volume of orders received over the holiday weekend, we experienced some delays in shipping orders out. Customers who pay the extra for the faster delivery get priority over standard delivery orders. If, in the unlikely event orders do not arrive within the time frame stated, we do refund the amount the customer paid, which confirms it is certainly not a money-making scheme. We can not see anywhere on our system where you brought this to our attention to allow a refund to be processed. “Its a bit unfair to do a review as I have not used it to cook on yet.
But the assemble took around 3 hours, I was not in hurry to complete the assembly, but it did take some time.
The instructions were straight forward and all the nuts bolts etc were available in the box.
There was no gas pipe or valve supplied, I was surprised, and I don't remember the product detail mentioning this, so be aware of this. Fortunately I had removed them from my old BBQ”

“The product itself is lovely. It is heavy. Notification came when it was dispatched however that was it. No warning of the acutal delivery. The delivery driver was the rudest and most unhelpful person yet. Mum is 77. He dumped the fire on her door step. She asked could he possibly lift it into her hall - no have you not heard of covid. Before that could you move your car out the drive as I could scratch it. Then he dumpted the pallet the fire was on, on the street beside her house and left. Again something she could not lift and the neighbours had to help her. I certainly would rethink about ordering anything again for the company due to their delivery contract which is a real shame.”

The item you ordered is an oversized item and is delivered on a pallet due to its weight and to avoid any transportation damage. Unfortunately, pallet deliveries are kerbside only and the driver does not take the pallet with them. This information is stated on our website to inform customers prior to ordering. However, despite this, the feedback you have passed on regarding the conduct of the driver will be sent to the company we use so they can investigate this further. “I had concerns about the fire, as there is quite a lot of orange flames mingled in with the blue. Contacted customer services to enquire if it was safe, and l included photo's. Customer services sent the photo's to the manufactures who confirmed it was safe to use.
Overall l am now happy with the fire, looks good, good customer service.”
“After purchasing our calor gas heater I went to purchase a blue gas cylinder, which I was told by 2 retail outlets they could not sell me. I called calor who told me they were not selling items to new customers, I explained I had purchased one and they told me I shouldn't of been able to, gas cylinder were for current customer only due to a shortage of steel. luckily for us our inlaws had an old gas cylinder so we've manged to get it working. I called customer care who told me to email and send a complaint, I've still yet to hear back.”

“On the whole a good product although would have liked slightly longer gas hose as it is a bit tight to stand the barbecue on the table with the calor bottle on the floor.
Also purchased the 5kg calor gas bottle only to find that the regulator supplied with the unit was different which was a little annoying.”
