“Customer Service is impossible. Fire pit grate rusted with first rain. No support available other than instructions to paint it over again. Not waht I expected. i have a warranty claim that is not being responded to.”

“One of the targets was missing from my package. Need to have more durable boxes to ship gong targets in, both of the boxes was damaged pretty bad. Still waiting to hear about when my missing target will be shipped!”

“Absolutely worst purchase ever. The grill was faulty from the beginning with one of the firebox doors not working and the moveable grate getting stuck. On the third use, one of the wires that's lifts and lowers the grate broke rendering the grill unusable. The company that makes the grill (third party) wants us to disassemble, pack and ship the 300+ pound grill back? This would take hours and hundreds of dollars, plus help to carry it. We feel like we've been taken advantage of as there is no way this item was designed to work properly. I feel ash and ember should stand behind this product and resolve the issue but they just referred us to the third party, who is useless. Please, if you're looking for an Argentine grill, look elsewhere. This one is a complete fraud.”

“Received a beautiful well-made teak lounge chair. Easy to put together. The wood has been completely sanded and is gorgeous. I ordered a sunbrella fabric pad that matches my other teak furniture and it looks fabulous. We will fight over this lounger!”

“Love the 42" burn bowl and log stand. Not thrilled with Argententian grill, and the need to signup for an account to get access to the manual, not cool. I spent 1k, I should get a printed assembly manual.”

“The box was completely beat up and busted, and packaging inside box appeared to have been opened. Luckily, the product is a single piece of cast iron, so it was unharmed. Still a fairly poor shipping/delivery experience”

“My husband asked for a fire pit and I found the biggest, most ridiculous cauldren/fire pit I could purchase. This baby arrived on his birthday by chance and we used elbow straps to carry it out half an acre where we wanted it. It's HEAVY, it's BIG and it's just perfect. We immediately started burning that day and is my favorite purchase of 2024. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟”

“The website, including the online ordering & payment options, were very easy to use. The catalog & individual item pages were uncluttered and very informative, with great photos, videos and details so I felt confident that what I was ordering would be exactly what I eould receive. The ordering & payment options were also secure, and I aporeciated the ease of being able to contact real, live people vua chat, email & phone with question & concerns or to place an order & make payment if I wasn't comfortable doing it online. The firepit I ordered was priced very reasonably - better than others I'd seen from a variety of competitors, and the reputation that Ash & Ember has, not just for quality, but also for standing behind their products, is what made me chose them for my business. My order arrived quickly, with Ash & Ember sending me frequent, timely updates with detailed tracking info. And it - the 32" Hemisphere firepit - it gorgeous! So we'll made, very solidly built, thick steel, no burrs, scratches, scuffs or rust, no loose, cockeyed or flimsy welds, bolts, joints, etc. Clearly made by skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work. As this was a milestone surprise birthday gift for my husband, having it arrive and exceed my expectations was awesome. I called a few days later to ask a few questions re: painting it to keep it black vs allowing it to develop a patina. My call was quickly picked up, and the agent I spoke with was quite helpful and professional. It's been a bit rainy dince it arrived, so we haven't had our first fire yet, but even in the rain, the pit loojs amazing on our patio. Can't wait to have folks over to help us enjoy it. All around, an excellent experience, and I'll be recommending Ash & Ember to others.”

“High quality material and finish. Wooden dowels can be difficult to hammer in using standard equipment described in directions. Putting a small amount of powdered graphite in the dowel holes and using a dead-blow hammer instead of a standard rubber hammer makes it ALOT easier to construct.”
