“The 28” fire grate is well built. It gets the flame higher in our fire pit, which is fairly deep. It also lets the air get under the fire.”

“Titan needs to make improvements to the packaging of their fire grates. I ordered the 36” hexagon fire grate that was shipped via Fed Ex. The package did arrive at the Fed Ex distribution center in Massachusetts, however, Fed Ex called and tried to get me to drive to their distribution center to pick it up. The cardboard shipping box was destroyed, probably due to the fact that this grate weighed 145 lbs and was only placed in the cardboard box and was not secured. Fed Ex claims that it should have been strapped to a pallet and I agree with this thinking. After some convincing Fed Ex reluctantly agreed to have it delivered and they claim that had to add a second person to the route to lift the package off of their truck. Luckily the grate arrived in good condition however it was delayed because it sat at the distribution center for a few days until Fed Ex got around to delivering it.”
