absolutely shocking service would recommend going else where, i have never been treated like that from any company before in my life. if i could put minus stars this company would get -10. i would be ashamed if i owned this company, what a total joke

This company suck! Not only did the mess both my insurance company but also myself around for 8 weeks but when finally came out they brought the windscreen for the wrong car, so it didn't fit. I naturally complained to my insurer, Auto Windscreens defence was that it was my fault they brought the windscreen. So much for them being a professional windscreen fitter, they can't tell a Hyundai from a Kai. Of course the truth is they trying to fiddle the job on the cheap. Disgraceful company, will NEVER use again!

This company are rubbish to put it mildly and I will think twice about renewing with Esure if they are still the their windscreen agent.

I have made a booking few weeks in advance however I have received a call at the day of service delivery saying that they are double booked and they are unable to provide the service. Period. I have not even been offered a solution except another appointment for two weeks later and they did not care at all. I had an MTO few days after and caused absolute inconvenience. Totally dissatisfied. Stay away, especially from the Cambridge branch..

Terrible! Technician failed to turn up to the appointment which left me with a car unable to pass it's MOT. Car is now declared as off the road and I have been told to wait over two weeks for another appointment. After being told to expect a call from the manager of the local branch (Southampton) the next morning, imagine my surprise when I call head office at lunch time to hear that there is nobody at work in Southampton that day. The head office manager did, however, assure me that 'customer care' will be in contact with me at some point in the next 5 days to discuss my complaint. That's OK, it's not as if I need a car for three weeks anyway... What a joke. Wound not recommend.

First and the last time, I hope, that I have to deal with this company!!! The technician left me with a new windscreen that was not water tight and no body could be bothered to call me back to do anything to help, other than sending useless emails. If your insurer uses this company please insist they refer your claim to any windscreen company. Auto Windscreens customer service/care is non existent - beware. Roger Staff

Two attempts now to replace rear glass on a Ford Fiesta, first the fitter arrived with a piece of glass with a chrome trim (I clearly told them on the phone it was black when ordering) & them today the fitter arrived with a 1/4 light ???? Ive been told I know have to wait 3 days for the next attempt, so that will be 10 days from my original request.....Total waste of space !!!!

After waiting 3 weeks for a new screen it finally turned up the wrong screen I said a heated screen for a ford mondeo they turn up with a screen for some thing completely different complained was told they would do it a week later again the wrong screen told they would replace it ten days later f... That I got a screen off smile windscreens instead the next day and it was the right screen I won't ever use these t...,,, s again that's for sure there customer service is crap

Two days and over 12 calls and still nothing!? Was told people were calling my number but had no calls and no VM, said they called my office wish can not be true as we only have a small team and they pass every message to me. How many times do I have to call this company to come and fix a windscreen. That is all they do??? I have had to use them due to insurance excess, but wish i didn't have to... losing will to live. :(

Inefficient,incompetent,unrelaible;need I say more? First attempt at repairing small crack led to crack trebled in size. Complained and arrangements made to replace windscreen. Date and time set. Time should have been between 900-1300 hrs. Techician telephoned in morning to say that he would be here around 1500 hrs. Had to re-arrange day. He arrived and replaced windscreen. Took car out 2 days later. Horrified to discover that trim around windscreen hed become detached. Telephoned Auto Windscreens aho said that they would rectify this the next day between 900-1300 hrs. They simply never turned up. Tried to contact them be telephone but unsuccessful. Avoid this company at all costs!

Engineer turned up, I advised please be very careful with my vehicle, then came out of my house to find the engineer had climbed onto the drivers door to remove the windscreen, sounds unbelievable I know. The went to the door and realised he had bent the door rubber trim, then continued to try a rectify damage by using a rubber mallet and screwdriver. After 4 months of going back to the Dealer, insurance company and auto windscreens, the outcome is the door was bent by the engineer standing on the door, paint all chipped. Still trying to resolve, no apology! Be very careful using Auto Windscreens, as they simply don't care! The damage that can be caused by an incompetent fitter is endless! You will then bang your head against a wall trying to resolve! Truly shocking company! The Insurance companies that partner with Auto Windscreens should also be very careful with their reputation by recommending this company.

Shocking service! very disappointed and unhappy with the whole experience. If this is the way they conduct business I'm surprised they are still in business. Didn't show up twice, turned up twice with the wrong glass then went to the wrong location after confirming my address three times. Would not recommend them to anyone steer well clear! If only my insurance company delt with autoglass...

From beginning to end the customer service to management are unprofessional and lacking in communication. Had my windscreen replaced in my Mini, Auto Windscreen used cheap glass which then needed replacing again after a few months. Staff, especially management in the Oxford office is rude. I was left chasing for a couple of hours trying to find out when they will arrive. I then find out they have gone to an address i was previously at and didn't take down any information i had discussed in the beginning. I constantly repeated my details to a further 3 people only to then find out that it was still not updated when i had a follow up from the complaints department. I asked if i will have a courtesy call or email to advise how they will progress with my complaint but was told they can assure me they will and that was it. I also had to wait nearly a months before i can get the windscreen replaced as they are too busy. Would not use them ever again and would advise anyone else to avoid.

Had a windscreen replacement in my new Meriva 2 weeks ago. Had our first substantial rain fall yesterday, and the windscreen leaks like a sieve. Need my trunks to go driving.

After arriving to replace my partners windscreen over a month ago. Which was done ok. The fitter broke the rear view mirror in two. Took full payment and uttered they will be in touch to replace. After numerous phone calls etc we have still heard NOTHING. Utter disgraceful and very poor customer service !!!!!

Shittest company I have ever had to deal with! They have been out 6 times now after incorrectly fitting the new screen or not having correct parts. They turn up today which is now the 6th visit with the wrong coloured screen and saying they now can't fit it because it's raining. It has taken 3 months, yes 3 MONTHS! It is literally beyond belief how useless some of these people are. Absolutely disgusted and will be complaining to insurance aswell and demanding our excess back!!

No stars. As the technician failed to turn up in a four hour window,or to contact me . I had received an Email and two text messages to confirm the appointment, I wasted a whole day and when I phoned I received no apology,and a take it or leave it attitude. Terrible service,if you can call it that. It makes me wonder what the guarantee would be worth.
