Horrible and most of these reviews are fake. Check out better websites for reviews. They cancelled my whole policy over an honest mistake forgetting to declare a 3 and half year old speeding ticket. Most firms just charge an extra £40 ...but these guys ramped up the premium to 50% extra. Then because I accidentally checked a box as 'married' for my common-law-partner they just offered me a new policy cancelling my old one with a much higher figure.

This is one of the most unprofessional money grabbing organisations I have had the misfortune to deal with. Instead of picking up the telephone to say they couldn't open documents they required they sent a bullying and threatening letter which was received with less than 9 hours to deal with. They quoted my wife a figure for resolution then increased it the next day without notifying her. Instead of working with my wife and I they put obstacle upon obstacle to NOT allow her to have an insurance policy. Their standard letters are nothing but intimidating. Customer Service ... Well let's be fair they don't have a clue! We had a quicker response to provide information within minutes of dealing with 2 other insurance companies. In reality I would prefer to offer a negative score ...

couldnt insure car i wanted to change to,extortionate cancellation fees,waiting time on phone absolutely shocking-never ever again

Stay clear scammers take your deposit then ask you to call to hike price or charge if you cancel

Still haven't seen any documents on-line or anywhere else. I am driving around absolutely scared to think I'm not covered????? Not impressed.

POSSIBLY IF NOT ABSOLUTLEY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH REGARDS TO COMMUNICATION - ONCE THEY GET THE SALE AND YOUR MONEY THEY ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN ANYTHING, HEAVEN FORBID IF I EVER HAD A CLAIM THEY'D BE USELESS - STAFF HAVE ATTITUDES, ARE VERY UNHELPFUL, DON'T CALL BACK WHEN THEY PROMISE TO, JUST GENERALLY SHOCKING SERVICE - STEER WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY - YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T - WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY FROM START TO FINISH - AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

AVOID AT ALL COST Been with Autonet on/off for years. Competitive prices etc but the worst experience when you really need them!!!! Wrote car off.....bad enough.....lots of fees/excess charges through insurance company (to be expected) that autonet insurance brokered for me. Hit with a bill from Autonet for my policy in full (accident happened 2 months into years policy). I had no idea this was a “thing” with brokers....you need to pay your years premium regardless if ca is written off/sold/you want to leave out with 14day cool off period. Robbing pri*ks. NEVER will I use there services again and it has become a little project of mine to make sure everyone knows this hidden detail about brokers. PS - Company was also like a chocolate fire guard when I needed there assistance with vehicle recovery etc and I ended up bypassing them completely and dealing with insurance directly. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! Get your insurance direct and cut out the middle man.

not for me thank thankyou. I was charged £37 admin fee just to change my address. Your admin must be earning an awful lot of money. Then, when it came to renew, the premium was hiked up by £80, despite being told in their letter they had found me the best possible quote. Rubbish, it took me 5 mins to find 20 quotes all much cheaper.

Shocking company stay away,customer service terrible, refunds ha ha ha take your money same day refunds got to wait 2 weeks would hate to see how long to get an accident pay out, anybody from the company would like to get in touch

You're better off with the brand insurers. Autonet are scammers. They initially give you the best quote, then come back to you a week later to say some details were missing, despite providing all details on the comparison site, and threaten to cancel the policy unless you pay more money. When you cancel, they charge £25 for no reason anyway. Stay away!

Amazingly unprofessional, definitely won't ever be using them again. Was sent an email initially which said not to worry if I didn't receive documents as I was definitely covered from the date my previous policy expired. No documents received for nearly two weeks after paying. When they turn up the certificate of insurance shows that I was driving about, uninsured, for nearly a week, despite what their initial email had said. So I definitely wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone else or use them again myself. Shysters.

Attempted to buy insurance from them, website said there was issues with processing the payment, so I went elsewhere. I called them the next day to check payment and they advised definitely not gone through. Later that day I got an email welcoming me to Autonet. Called back and they said the payment had actually processed originally. 2 weeks later and still awaiting a refund. Hopeless customer service and waiting times to get through are a joke.

While on deployment with the Royal navy and having no access to mail or internet, my insurance policy expired with Autonet, they started a new policy without being able to get a hold of me and then cancelled the new policy, which meant i am now having to pay a large cancellation fee of 165 pounds. I called them yesterday explaining my situation and tried emailing them through the computers on board ship explaining my situation (which i have proof of) and they wont budge, the only thing they offered me was starting a new policy to cancel the outstanding cancellation fee. I already insured my car with someone new and they couldn't understand why i didn't want to start a new policy with them meaning I would have two insurers. Is this how to treat the UK's armed forces personnel? i do not recommend insuring with Autonet if you serve for the UK's armed forces.

I was gobsmacked to find out my renewal went from£400+/£600 just because i was too honest about the mileage that i do.I live on an island & dropped from 5000/1000 miles a year.I forgot to mention that i wanted accident and breakdown cover but was told my insurance went up because i changed my mileage.Gobsmacked is an understatement.
