“I wanted to give zero stars but it wouldn't let me, worst experience I've ever had, basically won't let me with draw my pension, obstacle after obstacle, impossible, months and months of phoning, emails and still refusing to let me withdraw my pension ,this whole experience has made me ill, I will probably never get my money,”

“I paid into a life insurance for over 30 yrs. Then last year i had a really bad time. Within this i hadn't realized or been informed that my insurance had stopped/lapsed. When i realized approx 2 months ago I contacted them straight away and was told it couldn't be restarted with their cold uncompassionate response. I contacted them through their web page under problem. Explaining this twice asking if I could pay missed months etc to restart or even an offer of a solution. To date no one has been in touch. The mad thing is i was going to set up a pension etc with them. But after this i definitely wont now and I wont recommend to anyone. Considering what i had to deal with last year they are the least compassionate group ever. My mortgage provider and all utility providers etc showed more understanding and compassion than aviva did.”

“Stalling information, fabricating stories and dates and times , seems like a well practised process not to pay out . I have been treated in a shameful manner by Aviva I have terminal cancer 12 months to live , 4 months in Aviva still making my life a living hell”

“Worst experience ever, waiting pension policy lump sum, process is taking months, 40+ calls, numerous emails unanswered, it’s clear they just don’t want to part with my funds, so many obstacles they put in the way to stop you getting your well deserved pension. The whole process of dealing with Aviva will affect your mental health. I’m left thinking I will never get my pension.”
