I was at Culverhouse (Cardiff) store yesterday and was buying paint. I was attended by Joan who was brilliant, she saw me waiting as other staff were busy with other customers and she served me immediately. She mixed the paint and showed me the mixed colour and was totally friendly and professional. A real asset to your store.

my wife and myself went to the longwall green Bristol store on friday06april to buy wallpaper. but not enough rolls of our chosen design was available so "becky"(bless her heart) offered to have our require amount of paper to our design requirements delivered to our door asap with NO charge. I am unable to praise her high enough as she went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had the correct amount of our desired wallpaper thankyou very much becky

I visited B&Q in Chester yesterday. I've always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful with the rare exception. I feel i just have to mention Jordan, the lovely man who helped me with heavy toilets, sinks and wooden flooring and loaded them into my car for me. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Polite, helpful and friendly a credit to the store. I was also helped by a lovely lady called Sheena. I was purchasing quite a lot and when some flooring fell by the checkout, she immediately went to pick it up and help me even though she's only recovering from surgery herself. I hope B and Q Chester take note of the exceptional service Jordan and Sheena provide to customers. Everyone is very quick to complain but when an excellent service is delivered it should be recognised.

Visited Portrack Lane Stockton-on-Tees on Saturday and Sunday and was very professionally served by a lovely lady Sophie, both days she promoted the B&Q app and took her time to explain it. She genuinely wanted to help her customers and this was evident in her manner. A big well done to Sophie she is an asset to your store and certainly deserves praise.

We have today ordered a bathroom suite from the Bridlington branch. It was by no means easy as there were stock issues with our first two choices. However the experience was still a positive one due to the professionalism of Fran, the sales adviser. He went to alot of trouble to deliver an excellent customer experience, was meticulous in his handling of our order and his product knowledge was also excellent.

I visited the Huntingdon branch of B and Q with a query on my made to order mixed paint. It was a few shades lighter once applied. Rhiannon looked after me, she was excellent. She offered advice and spent time adjusting the mixture and tones until it was exactly right. 10/10 for customer service. I use B and Q for many purchases and this confirms that I will indeed be returning and highly recommending. thank you Rhiannon and B and Q!

I came in to the Portrack B&Q on Wednesday 26th Feb! Asked 2 members of staff to help me with ‘Draw handles’ an older women told me ‘go down there you’ll see the handles for a door then be round there’ SO HELPFUL! (not) Another member of staff said ‘Yeah Isle 20’ I personally thought staff members were supposed to be welcoming and take you to the isle? Both members of staff weren’t helpful at all! Left me struggling trying to find the correct handle that I needed within such small time because I needed to be somewhere! If someone had of helped me I wouldn’t have been late!! I believe the staff need more training on ‘CUSTOMER SERVICE’ Thanks :)

I ordered 3 very expensive tins of paint on line on the last day of the 3 for 2 offer. I chose click and collect from my local store. Received a voicemail the next day saying that they were cancelling my order as they didn't have the stock in the store I had chosen to click and collect from. There was no warning on the website when I ordered that there was no stock at the store or that they would not order the paint in for me. If there had been a warning I would have chosen free home delivery and the paint would have been sent from a central point. So because of the poor website ordering design/the ordering system not checking stock at the chosen store at point of order/B&Q ordering the goods in to the local store, I will be over £60 out of pocket. I wouldn't even give one star but had to, to post a review. Thanks B&Q!!!

Devizes branch. Hannah was so very helpful and patient last evening, mixing and remixing Valspar paint to find a match and then carrying the tins to the checkout and to my car. Thank you Hannah.

My sister and I went to B &Q in Sutton, London branch today and I am very pleased to say we met a very helpful, pleasant gentleman called Gerald in the paint mixing section. He was very kind, knowledgeable had excellent customer service skills. I got paint for my new kitchen which I am very happy with. The other staff were also very helpful. I would recommend this branch of B and Q to everyone.

Purchased a Fire Angel ST-620 Smoke Detector with 10 year battery from B&Q Bolton in May 2017. Battery failed last night. So much for 10 year life! B&Q refused to replace without a receipt. Who keeps receipts for over 2 years? Couldn't bring myself to buy replacement from B&Q Bolton however have ordered one from Amazon, delivered tomorrow, cheaper and will have proof of purchase forever. Result! Why does anyone buy from retail shops nowadays?

Just visited the paint section. The tall blond lady was extremely short with me! Before I even finished asking the first question she said no we dont have it. Then a gentleman beside her pointed out the possible place in the shop where I could find the product. She showed me to the shelf but just after said no we dont have it. I then opened the B&Q online page and showed her the actual product and then she just said oh this is beside the spray paints. I still couldn't find it so now I am leaving the store without the product and frustrated. Not gonna be coming back!!! I was also here every week before this incident. I am a manager myself and know a little bit of how the customer service should look like.

I would not recommend anyone to buy a kitchen as i have had nothing but problems ie items coming damaged 3 sheets of copper back board damaged buy courier you are not aloud to check items upon arrival you have got to take packaging in. i also had end panels damaged. How are tradesmen supposed to get on with their work when they have to wait days for items to arrive. When they arrive they are damaged again. B & Q should employ people who are careful with their products when delivering.
