All fine - the replacement stylus and cartridge arrived swiftly. I am not technologically savvy but still like my vinyl. I got the replacement as I had just put another replacement on my player and the difference in quality was unbelievable. In future I will always have a replacement close by.

Bought an Adam Sub8 subwoofer through their website on Saturday 2nd July and chosen delivery date on Wednesday 7th July and received the Card Payment successful response immediately. On Sunday 6th July evening, received an email that my item was handed over to Hermes along with tracking number. The Hermes tracking still says today as they're still expecting the item to be received from Bax. Tried to call Bax support on Wednesday 7th July morning but it goes to automated response that they will call soon within 4 hours. No response. When I tried to call them in evening the automated response was they will call me next day. Very bad experience. Am so frustrated that I claimed Card Dispute through my Bank on Thursday 8th July and got back my money today into my Bank account. After I got back my money today, the store support sent me email (after ages) whether am happy with the purchase - completely bizarre. Today evening, their customer support emailed me with a tracking link (which not works) along with a message that I will receive the item in few days. I replied them that I don't need item from them as I've already claimed back my money through my Bank. AVOID THIS SHOP!!

First time purchase from Bax. Prices always low so I was a bit sceptical but everything was handled very professionally. Confirmation of order and notification of dispatch. Product is ok too. Only issue really is their delivery is much slower than the competition who are often next day. Bax used Hermes which not only was planned to take several days (I can't recall how many) but they were even a day later than predicted.

Bullship company. Ordered as it was a good price. So far, didn't deliver when booked in, parcel not actually gone to delivery company still, tried cancelling and tried numerous times to speak to customer services. Nothing. All I got was an email inviting me to give feedback on how great they are. I will be taking action via PayPal as I think these guys are dodgy and would not trust them.

Ordered a banjo case and it was meant to arrive 3 days later. It didn’t arrive after a week and there was no information from the tracking number given except that it hadn’t been picked up. Sent several emails asking what was going on and received no reply. Overall poor service and poor communication with the buyer. I should have read the reviews before purchasing the product - doh! I have dealt with numerous different companies over the years and this one has by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Terrible or non existent customer after sales support. Received an email this morning asking me to leave a review. In terms of the guitar pedal this is impossible as I have not received it! I have emailed and telephoned Bax Music to which there has been absolutely no response. Queries are certainly in my case resolved within an hour. The Hermes tracker page has continuously shown that they are expecting a package from Bax but no more. In the absence of any dialogue difficult to know what course of action to take next.

Absolutely terrible customer support (non-existent) Ordered a keyboard last Wednesday, they said it had "left their warehouse" almost immediately. The Hermes tracking number they gave me still shows as "We're expecting your parcel" 1 week later. I've tried countless times to contact Bax since Monday but emails never get answered, and the phone line is just an automated response promising contact in 4 hours (it's been over 48 and I've never had one call yet). Reading other comments here it seems the problem may be Hermes, but if that is the case why don't they switch to using a reputable delivery service? They clearly know about the problems. If they have a backlog due to issues with Hermes, why not give us a simple automated email? I see they post here from time to time but perhaps they need to reassign that person to answering actual customer queries rather than trying to protect their image (it isn't working). I'm giving them to the end of the week before I contact the ombudsmen or trading standards. I will be reversing the charge as well. Right now they come across as absolute crooks, or just grossly incompetent. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt if they are snowed under, but as it is I can only say avoid them at all costs, no matter how good their prices might seem. Update: So a person did finally send an email (still no call) to say my order "has been dispatched and it is currently in transit, it should reach the Hermes depot very soon" 48 hours after that email and Hermes still haven't got it. I think they just floated it down a river and hoped it washed up near a Hermes depot, I've got no idea what else "in transit" could mean. They then sent me an couple of automated emails asking me to rate them on a few different sites. Gladly. (I particularly enjoyed this part of the email: "Recently, you placed an order at Bax Music. If all has gone according to plan, by now you've received your purchase and are enjoying it as we speak.")

The customer service supported me massively for my first and recent order and the price was a lot better than most competitors. Very happy customer!

First time customer. Very impressed by the ease of navigation on the website through to ordering. Also admired the way the company took care to keep me informed all the way through the purchase process to delivery. Will be buying from BAX again soon. Many thanks Andy H.

I purchased Pioneer PN-X05 stylus for Pioneer PLX-500 from Bax Music for my husband’s birthday, and he was like a child on Christmas day. The price was reasonable and I was surprised how quickly it was delivered. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to all music lovers.

Ordered a new guitar and amplifier on Tues 29th June, for Friday (2nd July) delivery. 6 days later and it has not been delivered, and Bax Music have ignored any and all attempts to contact them via email, their contact form and social media. I do not know if I'm going to get my order or not. They also do not have a Live Chat feature as stated on reviews.io, and the phone number is automated, so may as well not exist either. I am over £300 down, no idea where my items are and if I'm going to get them, and no idea if I'll even be able to get a refund since they are ignoring me. Absolutely awful customer service, I would use ANY other UK music instrument supplier if I were you, had nothing but good experiences with other suppliers, whereas Bax use the worst courier service known to man and then ignore their customers.

No customer services. Just place order and pray it will reach to your place. A phone number which is automated services never wokrs. Tried over 10 times but no reply. Emails no reply. Got my product after 7 days of arrival date . I hope it works

Still waiting for shipment to arrive I purchased a Modal Cobalt8 37 key synthesiser from this company on Monday June 28th 2021 - Delivery quoted Friday July 2nd 2021 - Thursday 1st July delivery was handed to Hermes Courier and a message arrived stating "Shipment was a Little to big to deliver and will be delivered by a specialist Hermes Courier due to size within the next 48 hours" Approx. Keyboard size. - 56cm. wide - 45cm deep. - 12 cm thick This is not a large keyboard. 4 days later - 6th July 2021. - Email from Hermes. "Out for delivery. Your friendly local courier will try to deliver between 13.00 and 15.00 today" Update - "Your friendly local courier will now try to deliver between 12.00 and 14.00 today " Great it would arrive 1 hour earlier. Nothing arrived now 10pm at night. Verdict. I purchased (attempted to) from Bax Music as their address was in Folkestone Uk. Good professional looking web site and good array of quality equipment. I am now currently £529 out of pocket - No keyboard, dealing with a courier company that cannot deliver an instrument not much larger than 3 shoeboxes and a Friendly Courier that not only cannot keep to time lines, but doesn't deliver the goods at all. Adding insult to injury Bax Music have asked me for a review. So here it is. Don't purchase anything from this company and Please make sure Hermes are Not the Friendly Courier who are claiming to deliver it to you.

Delivery is awful! Ordered a Shure SM7B and some extras last Tuesday and it said it would arrive by Friday (2nd) and still hasn’t shown up. I’ve tried contacting customer services and haven’t heard anything back, also tried to call the phone number given in my emails and got an automated response saying they would phone back in 4 hours (bare in mind I rang at 8:00 am and it’s currently 11:09 pm) I wouldn’t be as bothered if it was just a small order but to spend over £400 and not heard anything about my order
