“May I say what a pleasant communicative and accommodating two man team you sent to deliver my new divan today. A telephone call half an hour before delivery to confirm time of arrival Clean and considerate in their work, taking every precaution to prevent damage whilst manoeuvring a large mattress around tight bends. They carefully unpacked and removed all packaging as well as the old divan. Considering the snow and icy conditions underfoot, they worked safely, managing to get the job done as quickly as practicable. Well done Bedstar”

“Bought a new bed for my son as he has grown out of the old one, went for a midsleeper which was from a company called Stompa. The bed is very sturdy and well made and looks great. Delivery was good and i paid extra for assembly which took them about 2 hours. Good job all round!”

“Was not dissapointed with this company. I ordered a divan bed last week after mine more or less fell to bits. Got some excellent advice from a girl in sales and we arranged delivery there and then. The bed arrived at 10am on the expected day and the driver called me prior to this. The bed is now installed and looks lovely. The sales person picked a fantastic bed which is just right for my poorly back, well done!!”

“Appalling customer service! Delivered the wrong size bed - 4 ft instead of 4 ft 6 - and we didn't realise until we put the bed up and the mattress didn't fit. On contacting the company, I was told to fill in an online customer support form including photos proving the wrong size. Then and only then did they arrange to deliver the correct bed. They also asked me to re-package the wrong bed in it's original packaging - not easy when we had to cut it off as it was stapled together so we need to use lots of sticky tape. They also mentioned that if I was not in the house at the pre-arranged time to collect the wrong bed, I may be charged £46!!!!! So then we had to take the bed down, and then erect the correct sized bed. Counting the time I spent on the phone, the emails I sent, the time spent putting up and taking down the bed and re-packaging it, and then putting up the correct bed - I spent at least 8 hours of my time dealing with this issue! There was no offer of money off my order as compensation - when I asked about compensation, I was offered 5% of a future order!!!!!!! Derisory doesn't cover it. I spent £180 on the bed so if I bought another one, that offer is equal to £9!!! The actual bed frame as some nicks in the woodwork, and some of the pre-drilled holes didn't quite match up. My advice? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if like me you have expectation of proper customer service.”

“Excellent great value, good quality sturdy bed. Put up in about 45 mins by my husband. Extremely pleased with the seller communications and the product quality. The bed was delivered very quickly, well packaged and complete. Placed order at night, next day morning got a phone call from the seller to confirm the delivery date and we received it in the next day! I am a very satisfied customer.”

“Very poor service. Purchased a bed frame with next day delivery and waited. Sales confirmation was quick (obviously computer generated) shame about everything else. According to my email I was supposed to recieve another email with delivery information, I'm still waiting. I called Bedstar the next day to enquire about delivery times to be told that no order had been dispatched and that due to Christmas deliveries I would have to wait until the following day. Next day came and no delivery, I called on day 4 to ask what the hold up was and I was then told that my item was being delivered that day but only 2 of the 3 parcels.... The other Bedstar explained was lost. I waited another 4 days for delivery of part 3 so all in all 8 days for next day delivery! When calling all you are told is its not our fault, please see t&c's. Never will I use Bedstaruk again. Very poor indeed!!”

“Stayed in all day. Hauled the old mattress down two flights of stairs to help the delivery people. Delivery man knocked then disappeared and didn't return. I have had to chase everyone to find out what happened. Delivery company won't schedule to suit me so now asking for refund. I work hard all year for my holiday and don't want to spend it waiting in for deliveries. You'd think people would try harder to rectify their mistakes. That's what real customer service is, not saturation your Twitter feed with five star reviews.”

“I was very pleased with my experience of using the Bedstar website. Great selection, and when I received my bed and mattress, it was exactly as explained, and am very happy with my purchases. I was particularly impressed by the delivery schedule and they arrived pretty much when they said. The guys who delivered were very helpful and accommodating, and even took the old mattress for recycling. I would highly recommend this comapny. Carol Wilson Hove”
