Great of choice of beers and easy to order. Disappointing that 3 beers were not delivered without warning. 2 out of stock and 1 not packed in error. Refunded straight away, but would have been good to have been notified.

I ordered a selection box of 15 bottles. 5 of the bottles were actually cans, which was pretty annoying as it was for a gift.

I signed up for the three month beer-club offer with three case of mixed beers for £55. I have received two of the three cases so far and I have been pleased with the selection with several beers I haven't tried before and some good old favourites. I have used other beer club companies in the past and l would say that the Beer hawk variety is the best so far. However I have found the customer service of Beer Hawk extremely poor. When the first case arrived I received two cases when I had only ordered one. Although I suppose you shouldn't look a gift horse and all that. I was concerned I had been charged twice. I logged into the Beer Hawk website and on my dash board it listed two orders, however my email receipt only listed one. Trying to make sure I had only been charged once I phoned head office to try to resolve this. Anyway to cut a long story short, after three days of phone calls to several people and no responses I had time to check my credit card statement to see I had only been charged once. I'm not really complaining I got an extra case of beer but I did waste my time trying to get a simple answer from Beer Hawk and as such l won't be using them again.

Had to chase order. Then gift vouchers not enclosed. After contacting you again sent e mail link I had to print off even though I ordered actual vouchers. Then you gave me £10 to spend as an apology but as I checked out as a guest could not access it. Sent you yet another email but no reply

Delivery was slow, I only purchased one bottle of beer, for a present, but the label was tatty and giving is as a present was embarassing as it looked like it was purchased from a bargin shop. I did contact beer hawk and provided a photo however they did not bother to reply to me.

Ok. You guys have amazing beers and glassware on offer. I find that when ordering you could be better at notifying that beers are not in stock.. as I have experienced partial deliveries and without a option I have been refunded, when I'd actually appreciate another beer as a substitute. Also the beer tokens isn't really a great reward and I mine have not been update and I have spent more lately?? Cheers Dale

First time ordering from this company and was a little disappointed - the beer was ordered well in advance of my brother's birthday, however took 10 days to be delivered (delivery time stated on website is 3-5 days) - admittedly when I emailed to find out what had happened to the order, staff got back to me and updated me, but still, would hesitate to order again

the choice is great. sadly 12 of the 16 items I ordered arrived 7 days later. unfortuntalky 4 of the items still havent arrived after 4 weeks.

I ordered the mystery box which contained a mix of very nice beers and not too many duplicates. Customer service however is very poor. I emailed asking for an update as my order took over 2 weeks and received no response. I also responded to a 'customer service' email and received no response where I asked for the delivery address to be updated which did not happen as the driver ended up at the wrong address. Beers are fab but order well in advance!

Beer was great apparently (it was a gift). A message was added retrospectively which I was grateful of. What was not great was that the delivery driver chose not to deliver to the private address on a large private school site, but to drop off at the reception (which closes before my friend gets my email). Driver reports it has been left at the address "Left in a safe place: Other Location " - to quote my friend "Lying turnips" no card had been left and someone was at the house waiting to take delivery. I can buy good beer anywhere, it is the fact it is delivered that was attractive to me, and that was lazy and the tracking message unhelpful. So I doubt I would use the service again.

After I placed my order, I didn't receive a confirmation email. I called to enquire about this and was promised one would be sent. After a week the confirmation email had still not arrived so I called again to see what was happening with my order. I was told a manager would call me back but they didn't. The delivery eventually turned up, but I wouldn't order through this company again.

I was disappointed that the beer selection I ordered has not arrived in a nicely packaged gift box. The bottles are just in a normal cardboard box and when you open it it looks like some of the bottles are missing, when in fact they aren't - the selection I bought just doesn't fill all the compartments. I'm sure the recipient will be happy with the beer but I do wish the packaging had been better.....

Packaging was rediculous. Beer was alright though. Nothing special - no reason to purchase again to be honest.

Whilst the beer was great, the service was awful. When my delivery failed to arrive I tried contacting the delivery people - UKMail, as their online tracking service was no help. However the UKMail phone number only gets you a machine where your options are limited (I did try emailing that produced no joy). After half a day trawling the internet and trying many numbers (I am not looking forward to my phone bill!) I found the number to another part of their business and begged them to pass my number over so they could phone me back. I had to do this several times to finally be told my parcel appeared broken and so I needed to contact Beer Hawk. Why they could not have let me know or let Beer Hawk know is beyond me. So I contacted Beer Hawk by email, and they arranged for a replacement to be sent out, but only using the same delivery method as before - I had ordered the beer for a special occasion so needed it asap. Whilst Beer Hawk were good at re-ordering the beer for me they did not in any way address my disappointment with the Delivery company, if I had not chased to find out where my parcel was (which was like something off Crystal Maze) then nothing would have happened. I do think Beer Hawk need to get a Delivery company where you can at least speak to a human if you want to. So whilst the beer was good the delivery service was shocking.

Ordering fine and beer looks good but not tried yet. Delivery by UK Mail appalling - just left on front door step as we were out. Apparently left safely in a porch. Sent info to Beer Hawk but no response. UK Mail did apologise. Luckily we found the order before it was stolen.

Took over two weeks for delivery and not the stated five working days, customer services was basically non existent. Will give another chance but will have to do better next time as there is plenty of competition

I ordered a beer advent calendar in mid-November although I was wary of the negative reviews that I'd read regarding delivery problems. Sure enough, I had to chase the delivery on a number of occasions and was given mixed messages, on some occasions being told that my delivery had already been dispatched and on others being told that there was an error and my delivery label hadn't yet been printed. When asking for specific delivery dates, I was given vague promises of "your order will be delivered imminently" and when pushed, I could never get a definitive answer. However, my chasing paid off as I was given extra beer tokens in my account, a 50% discount refund towards my order, and the advent calendar was finally delivered on the afternoon of 30th November - just in time! I did feel that I had to hound the company on a daily basis though - maybe they'd be good if you had plenty of time between placing the order and needing the goods!

The order I placed took longer than expected to arrive and when it did was incomplete. Beerhawk were quick to refund my money when advised of the error. Will purchase from them again, but a further experience similar to that I have had previously will make me take my custom elsewhere.
