“I ordered 20 augustiner helles and 5 augustiner Edelstoff to arrive for Christmas. On the 19th of December I received an e mail saying my order had been despatched and would usually be with me the next working day. I waited until the 23rd with no further communication until I decided to send an e mail. I was told they had only received Edelstoff from the suppliers and had not been able to make up my order. To only be made aware of this 2 days before Christmas was bad enough but I understand it is a busy period but what I did not understand is why there was no attempt to offer any form of alternative. Why not offer to make up the order with Edelstoff? Why not offer any form of compensation? Instead I received an e mail with excuses and a refund, there was an opportunity to show good customer service and rescue something of a bad situation but instead it was made a whole lot worse. Very poor.”

“Very bad customer service - eventually got the beer I ordered after 3 phone calls and waiting 3 weeks! - won't use them again even though they apologised saying there systems were under review. Very disappointed ????”

“For being a company that ships fragile glassware not just around UK but even Europe this most be the worst packaging I've ever seen. Bottles standing on their own with just thin cardboard pieces between then. Box itself was torn apart just form people lifting it. Just a miracle that everything in my box survived. My friend wasn't as lucky sadly and had a bottle break. Limited bottle as well so they couldn't (wouldn't) send a new one, all he get was money back for the bottle and shipping fee. Not likely to use this service again until I get verification that they start using bubble wrap or something more to protect the goods.”

“Everything was good except the most important thing, and that is being able to deliver all beers in a good condition or infact getting all beers at all. The packaging is the worst i have ever seen from a webbshop that sells beer. No using of boubble wrap or anything, the beers are just placed in a thin cardboard box. Even worse is that you guys are happy with they way you pack the beers. I will never buy anything again until i know the packaging of the beers are done in another way.”

“When I ordered the beer the estimated shipping was 6.70 so i went ahead with a £25 purchase but i have just received the invoice and the shipping and handling was £15 and the cost was much more than i had expected.”

Hello, Sorry you didn't see the shipping, it changes when you put your country in, but does start at the default UK mainland shipping price. Apologies that you didn't see it before paying,

“A few incorrect items in the order (cheaper ones too!) emailed twice and only heard back once asking for my order number but no response after I gave it. Would avoid and try elsewhere.”
