“seems like your "company" should be reported to the ombadsman. Your "customer service" "chat bot" doesn't explain where missing orders are, and also amazingly spells a lot of words wrong, for a robot named Graham, it is really "glitchy".”

“As a mini-gift for my partner I pay for a subscription for him. My partner has always enjoyed receiving his case of beers every month but unfortunately there was a delay receiving this months case and no update on its arrival. I called beer52 and Claire was more than helpful. The phone call was answered nearly immediately, with asolutelyno fuss, Claire sent out a replacement case, and my partner is eagerly awaiting its arrival once more.”

“Signed up to Beer 52 for December, tempted by their Beers of Croatia for said month. The box all comprising 330ml cans finally arrived on 29th Dec with only 2 cans related to beers from Croatia, the remainder coming from UK. So certainly nothing to get excited about. They call them awesome beers but I was totally underwhelmed. I had retained the box in case they had dispatched the wrong box or a generic box however given they could not be bothered to respond I will today dump all of their glitzy product into the bin..Is it worth £29 a month,,definately not. My main bug bear is that I wasted my time emailing them on 10th Jan to clarify if this was the correct order. I got a funky holding email and again a week later with zero back emailed once more. As you will find with this company, lots of wow and magic but incapable of helping me. Dont tell me, you were really really busy or you are a really small business or someone has dropped the ball and in 99% of the time you are world beaters in everything you do. As with the other recent review, you can be dazzled by all sorts on their site however try cancelling and thats where their technical limits end. So I have to call them and tell them I want to immediately cancel my membership and guess what the guy having taken my details says 'hey you sound very frustrated, is everything OK with you today'! Like what a joke and the complete nerve of this place to come out with that load of drivel. He then further compounds matters by telling me all about what I am going to lose if I cancel, 100 points for this, 26p discount, a cuddly toy etc--laughable eh--all that effort now but absolutely zero effort beforehand--priceless eh. Tip: If you spent your time actually providing ANY customer service rather than trying to build a deeply insincere empathy for how I feel you would be much better served. Any chance they had of retaining me absolutely went out the window when the guy started with those antics. Yes I am frustrated that your delivery promised to get to me prior to Xmas but arrived on 29th Dec, these things happen. I am frustrated in that when I opened the box I got an underwhelming delivery . I was especially frustrated that I sent 2 emails to your business with regard to my order and as a first time customer you would have thought Beer 52 might have given the illusion of service but you would be wrong. You cared so much about my queries that in return across over a week all I got was silence and then the cheek of your call agent to build empathy when I have to call these people to cancel my service. I had told a lot of family all about Beer 52 so well done Beer 52 you turn me from an advocate to someone who will proactively be telling all and everyone to avoid this silly company for the reasons listed. Deeply unimpressed by the whole experience”

“Claire was helpful ( although the telephone wait time was very long ) and email response slow. The inability to cancel or pause your account online is a pain. Personally the book and snacks are unnecessary - I would rather pay less and have the option of those items.”

“I sent an e-mail to Kirsty to ask for a few days delay in making a payment and she sorted it out so quickly and without fuss. Excellent service and always so helpful. I would highly recommend Beer52 as the service and choice/quality of the beer is first class.”

“Ordered a mixed box of light and dark ales on the introductory promo but only recieved one dark ale out of 8. Beers were nice, but would have preferred a more even mix. The cans are the small size and we feel would be overpriced going forwards at the standard charge. Delivery was a few days late and communication on the run up to xmas was impossible via phone. Box arrived 23rd Dec (ordered 13th Dec) and reply to my delivery queries eventually came through on 31st Dec via facebook message. I replied requesting to cancel my subscription on the same day. I find it odd that you cannot cancel via account options on the website?! Having had no response to my request by the 11th Jan I braved the phoneline again. Luckily I was only on hold for 8 mins this time and my request was processed straight away and the advisor was actually great. All in all a good concept but needs to revise pricing to be more competitive and have more accessible customer service.”

“Exceptional customer service delivered by Natalie. My delivery was delayed and the tracking information was stuck but when I reached out they were able to quickly arrange a complimentary replacement. Very quick response and loved the beer selection. Thanks again”

“Do not join this beer club - absolute appaling customer service some of the beers were ok but just too expensive for what you get - and if you try and cancel youll be waiting and waiting and waiting”
