Would have put 0 stars if I could. Don’t send as a gift. An apparently “fantastic gift” is an advert telling the person to subscribe for the gift you paid for. They would have got a free/£5 first box without the gift through one of the many promotions deeming your gift pointless. If you or they want to cancel this subscription (soon after they receive the gift from you they are charged for the next box) make sure you have over an hour to sit on hold. Apparently they need the bank details to check age. Sending alcoholic gifts through M&S or other companies don’t require bank details and a rolling plan... So basically the “fantastic gift“ you send is an advert to subscribe to a company which would have gotten you free/£5 one anyway and over an hour of waiting to cancel. Enjoy your “fantastic” gift...

Nothing wrong with the beers, although they weren't fantastic either. The one start is for the underhand way you can sign up in 30 seconds online but have to cancel via phone. I couldn't get through to speak to anyone in order to cancel my membership. Process leaves a bad taste in the mouth

BAD BUSINESS! Very bad. Can't canel online, you have to call. Waited for 20 min and when answered and I told them I want to cancel they hang up on me! Shocking!

Avoid at all costs, delivery is horrendous, either weeks late or damaged! Impossible to cancel as you have to phone and they just don’t answer!

Easy to set up and cancel subscription. Phoned number on lined, on hold just over 10min, (states wait time on website, no issues with this unlike others below! :D) subscription cancelled shortly after. Will likely be a return customer.

Had a problem with my first delivery, damaged in transit, emailed them regarding the issue a new one was sent straight out and received within a couple of days. Good selection of beers and great customer service when dealing with my problem. Thanks Again.

Very easy to cancel staff are friendly and no pressure to stay. I got a free case only paid for shipping and now I am on my third. The selection of beer they provide is very good and it's a great opportunity to try beer you wouldn't normally. I would highly recommend aleast trying beer 52 aleast once.

Beers were great quality, but I wanted to cancel as we are cutting out alcohol for a bit. Initially I was a bit frustrated being on hold for 18mins to cancel my subscription, but when I spoke to Angus, he was great, no hassle, subscription ended. Speaking to him has given me faith in your company, and I would consider subscribing again in the future as a result of his great customer service. :)

The beer is always great and pretty reasonable in terms of price. It's nice trying different types of beer. There's sometimes 1 or 2 that aren't for me, but they're still interesting. Unfortunately I'm moving abroad, so had to cancel my subscription - but Angus on the phone was lovely enough to handle that for me.

Ordered and already got my beer the following week. A bit put off that you have to call to cancel subscription but I signed up expecting this so wasn’t that if a big deal. Waited for like 15-20mins or so but the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Received confirmation of cancellation almost immediately so pretty efficient.

All seemed promising but the cancellation process is absurd and underhand. Unfortunately for them it didn't make me feel guilty about cancellation, rather more resolved to follow through on it. Great idea ruined by sleazy tactics.
