Garbage! Was given a gift voucher as part of a present. After emailing and tweeting I have now managed to get my beers ordered. Took three days. God knows when I'll get them. Even though it's a gift I've had to upload bank details and subscribe. I will 100% cancel after the 24 hours they advise.

This is not a very professional company. I paid for the first box and back on 10 October and it has not arrived. every time I contact the company to enquire about the missing box, they tell me to wait another week. After a week goes by, they send me a new box, but the new box NEVER arrives either. They have shipped the box to me 3 times now. And each time the box is "lost in transit" But they had no problem taking my money, but they have not sent me the box. I can only share my personal experience. The people on the phone seem nice, but that still does not give me the wine that I have paid for. Ive been waiting since 10th October for the wine. I have all the proof via email of the customer service interactions and the tracking links to yodel and Evri, that lead to nothing. Today is 16 of November and still no wine. What a shame, how a company can run like this, in my personal opinion I don't see this company lasting. Please do not tell me to email you at your support email, I have already done that countless times, and you still don't send me the wine I HAVE PAID FOR. I will be posting this review to Instagram, twitter, and other social media.

Been a loyal member for years. Have got £57 to use on beers but i have to pay for beers then they give half the discount. This is not on. Been on hold for a number of hours. This is not on!! I wanted what was rightly mine and want to cancel!! Absolutely disgusting!

cannot cancel subscription online, cannot cancel over email, try to phone and I cant get through. They keep calling me upto 5 times a day and I keep telling them on email I CANNOT ANSWER THE PHONE during 9am - 5pm as I work in a school. they keep phoning me, keep phoning me, however they can never reply to an email???? Just reply to my email. cancel my subscription. or even better let me do it myself.

This company seem to have fantastic customer service when everything is fine and they're taking your money. However, when you need to cancel they make it extremely difficult to do so. We also had a very rude customer service representative who was not at all bothered that we had been unfairly charged and did not seem at all interested in trying to keep us as customers. There are so many great craft beer companies now, we'll give our money to a company who appreciate their customers and is transparent and honest! Update: Emailed them to complain about their customer service worker and as expected received no reply. I spoke with my stepfather who also signed up for the service. He said he enjoyed the beers but" it's a nightmare to stop the deliveries and they take any little opportunity to still send you a box and charge you". It seems that all the negative reviews here are for the same reason.

Entirely dishonest in the way that they offer a free trial (but you have to pay for it) that is easy to cancel (but is almost impossible to cancel). Complete scam.

Worst service I have ever come across. Recommended a friend for both the beer and wine club promised free case of beer and wine, several boxes later I still never received the free Beers and wines even after several calls to customer services. Just get fobbed off all the time. Promised to get sorted but haven't so cancelled my subscription today. So has my friends subscription too Beers extremely overpriced there are better websites than this so DONT SUBSCRIBE

Try to cancel and they just don't give up trying to keep you there. 15 minute call trying to explain why I wasn't interested, I ended up hanging up on them

Employing dark UX patterns to make it incredibly difficult to cancel your subscription is shady. I probably would have kept my subscription but having experienced the deliberate effort made to prevent you from transparently managing your account, I no longer wish to do business with them.

The customer service support are useless I tried to see if they would assist with changing my email. That appeared to difficult which is the reason I want to stop this subscription now. And now i have to go through them via email or phone and they can't either answer the phone nor reply to emails.

Honestly don't subscribe, worst subscription I've ever made I'm skint and now in debt because it's impossible to cancel. I can't afford these anymore so I've tried to cancel, which you can only do by phone call at certain times. When you call you're left in a queue for absolutely ages, and the phone hangs up, not being able to cancel. Now I'm left paying for overpriced alcohol that I don't need and can't afford!!!!

DISHONEST AVOID! Once signed up they will continue to charge your credit card even after you cancel your subscription! Any free crate offered is purely a hook to get your card details, please see the numerous reviews saying the same thing and avoid subscribing.

What an impossible menu to try to cancel first I had to cancel my credit card and then I found they actually got the person I was giving the beer subscription to his credit card under the disguise to prove his age. Now it’s automatically renewing until my friend also cancels wow what an incredible journey of frustration. Recommend you avoid this company at all costs and just run the other way. They are also very slow to respond and each time I get a different person with a “cheery message”

Scam! I took up the offer for a free sample then had £27 deducted the following month. Fair enough, I'd been caught out but when I tried to cancel it's impossible! you cannot cancel online, only through a phone number I was on the phone for 65 minutes without getting through. in the end I had to call my bank to block further transactions. I'm surprised Martin Lewis. money saving expert were promoting this scam. I did email them but just received a generic response. Be warned!

The company promises to smooth the cancellation process and pretend to care about customer service!. Do not trust them! No contact despite plenty of emails, no care about their customers! AVOID!!!

Came to check reviews before signing up, glad I did! People please don't just read the 5 star reviews that the company have put up themselves!! Filter, 1 star (etc) reviews and then you will see the truth!

I've been a longstanding customer of both Beer and Wine52 however this month they have shown themselves to have no customer service. Three weeks my regular beer delivery was allegedly despatched. After a week it had still not left the depot of their carrier. Each day I chased o was either ignored or told to wait another 24 hours. A week on and STILL NO DELIVERY !! Obviously the handling parcel company had lost or stolen the beer. In week 3 they promised delivery in 24 to 48 hours using another parcel company. However they failed to deal and then the second company alleged to deliver. I have security cameras and an investigation proved it had NOT BEEN DELIVERED. So 3 weeks have passed and they have NOT DONE ANYTHING TO RESOLVE !!! CEO to rude to reply to correspondence and customer services handler JED thinks over familiarity is acceptable whilst absolutely failing to resolve !!!!!!! We head into week 4 and still no apologies and no resolution. Just ignorance and excuses. Avoid this company if you value service and are prepared to risk your orders not being provided but lost / stolen.
