customer service is awful. This company is awful. No one should order beer from here. Firstly customer services are not helpful they not doing the job in a right way. They are useless for sorting their mistakes. Be careful with subscriptions if they can charge even if you don't want it they will and they not even going to put an effort to sort out their mistakes. I asked for a refund for their mistake and they offered me 6 pounds and a refund of 24 pounds. It shows their attitude toward a customer. No one should go with them. It is expensive and they are not helpful for you.

Potentially the worst customer service I have ever received. Original parcel was delivered correctly and nothing to complain about, but when trying to cancel it becomes obvious they have no interest at all. I submitted a cancellation request but 2 weeks later i open my door to find a new box. On contacting them I am told I should have refused delivery.... which I couldn't do as they didn't knock. After several back and forth and a long call I am told to send back and they will refund postage on this occasion due to it not being my fault. Parcel sent back but 4 weeks later I am still fighting for the postage refund and being told even though they have the recording of me being promised a refund it's against their T&C's. Absolute bunch of crooks. Don't use if you ever want to cancel at some point.

Products are ok. Overpriced for what you receive. BUT customer service wise, they are appalling! If you are ok waiting days, weeks for responses, getting inconsistent information, and being lied to. Then sign up. If you want to complain, we’ll that’s on another level of comedy. They use the ‘we are a small business’ line a lot, but never actually deal with the matter in hand, fob customers off, don’t answer questions and if you call the number provided the second you say you want to cancel or complain they just hang up! Beer52, 52 stands for the length of days to get your situation resolved or responded too. Just buy from any where else and you’ll be ok. I’m all for supporting small businesses but I’m more for helping peoples mental health, and you’ll go mental trying to get anything resolved with these ticker answering staff members. Small business yet so many different names and none that follow anything through. Bizarre and dishonest.

Terrible!!!! Orderd the free offer and tried to cancel the subscription but couldn't as I did not create a login. Tried to reset my password but my email doesn't exist in their database, however they still proceeded to take my money for the 2nd month. Tried to contact them via phone, email and social media with no replies. I have proceed to do a charge back and block any further transactions. Do not use this company, their business model appears to be sign customers up for free, take their money thereafter and make it impossible to cancel. SCAM SCAM SCAM

seems like your "company" should be reported to the ombadsman. Your "customer service" "chat bot" doesn't explain where missing orders are, and also amazingly spells a lot of words wrong, for a robot named Graham, it is really "glitchy".

Signed up to Beer 52 for December, tempted by their Beers of Croatia for said month. The box all comprising 330ml cans finally arrived on 29th Dec with only 2 cans related to beers from Croatia, the remainder coming from UK. So certainly nothing to get excited about. They call them awesome beers but I was totally underwhelmed. I had retained the box in case they had dispatched the wrong box or a generic box however given they could not be bothered to respond I will today dump all of their glitzy product into the bin..Is it worth £29 a month,,definately not. My main bug bear is that I wasted my time emailing them on 10th Jan to clarify if this was the correct order. I got a funky holding email and again a week later with zero back emailed once more. As you will find with this company, lots of wow and magic but incapable of helping me. Dont tell me, you were really really busy or you are a really small business or someone has dropped the ball and in 99% of the time you are world beaters in everything you do. As with the other recent review, you can be dazzled by all sorts on their site however try cancelling and thats where their technical limits end. So I have to call them and tell them I want to immediately cancel my membership and guess what the guy having taken my details says 'hey you sound very frustrated, is everything OK with you today'! Like what a joke and the complete nerve of this place to come out with that load of drivel. He then further compounds matters by telling me all about what I am going to lose if I cancel, 100 points for this, 26p discount, a cuddly toy etc--laughable eh--all that effort now but absolutely zero effort beforehand--priceless eh. Tip: If you spent your time actually providing ANY customer service rather than trying to build a deeply insincere empathy for how I feel you would be much better served. Any chance they had of retaining me absolutely went out the window when the guy started with those antics. Yes I am frustrated that your delivery promised to get to me prior to Xmas but arrived on 29th Dec, these things happen. I am frustrated in that when I opened the box I got an underwhelming delivery . I was especially frustrated that I sent 2 emails to your business with regard to my order and as a first time customer you would have thought Beer 52 might have given the illusion of service but you would be wrong. You cared so much about my queries that in return across over a week all I got was silence and then the cheek of your call agent to build empathy when I have to call these people to cancel my service. I had told a lot of family all about Beer 52 so well done Beer 52 you turn me from an advocate to someone who will proactively be telling all and everyone to avoid this silly company for the reasons listed. Deeply unimpressed by the whole experience

Impossible to get through. Thank God I used my credit card. Total scam. Stay away!! 56 mins on hold no customer service to speak of.

Do not join this beer club - absolute appaling customer service some of the beers were ok but just too expensive for what you get - and if you try and cancel youll be waiting and waiting and waiting

Absolutely impossible to get through to cancel my subscription. So far I have spent 2hrs 25 minutes on the telephone, with just a recorded message and music. I have also sent two emails requesting cancellation with no response. Not impressed.

Very difficult to cancel subscription and they debit your bank account without prior warning. You can only cancel by phone and it took me many attempts to get through. Finally after 25 minutes I was connected and was able to cancel.....however in the meantime I was sent another case and will have to pay postage to send it back. Their business plan is borderline fraudulent on my opinion.....AVOID

Placed my order the first week of November and our order still hasn’t arrived after 3 weeks! will not be using this service in the future I’m afraid. However the customer service team have been well informative and polite so thank you Robyn and Natalie for keeping us in the loop.

You can subscribe in seconds online - but you can only cancel via phone - which wont be answered inside of 15 mins. Any company who takes a digital subscription and then makes it so hard to stop a subscription doesn't deserve my business.

Beer 52 took money from my account, despite me not havng an account with them! I have emailed but had no response. A terrible service! beware of this they can take money without even being a member, or receiving any goods I might add.

Really terrible customer service. Getting through on the phone has been extremely difficult and then emails not being answered. I wanted to like this company but don't. Very disappointed so cancelled my subscription.

Avoid this company. Never received the box and cant get through to anyone on the phone only an automated message saying you can't cancel until after your first box has arrived which it never does. It's definitely a scam. Save yourself the bother even £5.95 isn't worth the hassle

Very POOR! They try to make cancelling as difficult as possible also they're t&c's on the site are incorrect. YOU MUST phone to cancel so get ready for a 30min wait! Rip off, Stay well away!

First time customer - Ordered a gift box for a family member's birthday. Ordering process was easy and was advised delivery would be up to 3 working days - very happy! 8 days later, the birthday has been and gone and the order still has not been delivered. I have spoken to two customer service reps in the last two days, both were very pleasant however could not explain why the order has not been dispatched and both promised an update from the warehouse the same day, however neither came to fruition. I appreciate there may be issues with couriers in the current climate, but Beer52 should not be advertising delivery times on their website that they cannot fulfil and it should not be up to the customer to chase for updates on their order. I am now waiting to find out if my order can be cancelled (wherever it may be!) and will not be ordering from them again.

An absolutely awful company to deal with. I ordered some beer for my father for Fathers' Day. Three weeks later (long after Fathers' Day) it still had not arrived, so I messaged Beer52 to cancel the order and ask for a refund. They completely ignored me, and a week later the beer arrived (4 weeks late). I messaged them again to ask for an explanation and a refund, but they are still ignoring me. I have used other online beer-retailers in the past, such as Beer Hawk, and they were much better.

They appear to get the hump and fail to return emails after you tell them you don't want their exclusive one time offer in an attempt to keep you from cancelling the membership. I only want the free one month trial. I left this same review on Google and they appear to have removed theirself from Google reviews. Maybe cause there were many bad and honest reviews.

Beer52 is advertising themselves as a 'anytime cancel' subscription. It is surprisingly difficult to cancel though as: - there is no option to do it online, you need to actually call them to do so; - I did call them and they told me that they can't cancel yet, there must be a minimum amount of time after I created the account to have it cancelled. This is unacceptable, as I have entered into a contact being given a lie.
