“Love the ales, unusual flavours, make very good gifts and popular at family and friend get-togethers (social distancing observed!). Good service from the company, good customer service, thank you Douglas! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different.”

“A good selection of craft beers and snacks and the magazine was an intersting read. Decided not to continue due to price and now back to work the postman leaves the box in the garden for the local chavs to enjoy.The option to cancel online would be helpful but Douglas was very helpful when i called.”

“I’m not too much of a beer drinker so I ordered this on a whim after being referred by a friend with their friend scheme. The beers themselves were very nice however as I’m not too much of a beer fan I felt the service wasn’t for me. Spoke to Douglas on the phone about cancelling my subscription and he could not have been nicer. If you like beer I would highly recommend this service.”

“The service was easy to subscribe to, clear and had good quality beers. I suspect I got unlucky with the few I got before I cancelled, but got an awful lot of citrus flavoured IPAs and coffee stouts. Both are nice, but I wanted more variety when I was paying a lot. Notably missing any traditional style ales, but I guess since it's craft that's not the flavour of the day. Cancelling was a bit of a faff, I really don't like it when companies make you phone up as it's a transparent attempt to try and convince you to stay (or just add a little bit more of a mental barrier). Douglas who I rang was friendly despite the canned phrases he had to use to try and retain my custom. Good experience overall despite the criticisms!”

“I love the Beer52 concept; it's been especially valuable to me during lockdown. Their customer service is excellent, accessible, friendly, and efficient. The beer selections definitely suggest someone knows their stuff. One point of constructive criticism, I do think the option for more customisation would be nice - I really don't like sours, never found one that I've ever liked, and it would be good to have a menu where you can tick boxes as to which types of beer you would like to exclude from your subscription. Whilst it's decent value for money, it's still not cheap, and I don't want to waste money on a beer I know I won't enjoy.”
