James, I apologize that the order sat for 9 days. We ran out of stock earlier in the day for your item and had already placed an order with Rain Bird. They took longer than expected to ship us our stocking order. This delayed us from shipping your order to you. Why didn't we stop you from buying that product or inform you? Normally Rain Bird would have our orders to us within 2-3 days, and you'd have it in another day. If we called you, it would have been 3-4 business days after your order which is when you would normally receive your order. If you give us another chance, give us a call and we will hop to your order and make sure everything is ready to ship same day. Jan Taylor Big Frog Supply
