A very dangerous company. To be avoided at all costs. They appear to take very little care of the cars they buy in and the after care is extremely slippery. If I worked for that company I would be ashamed.

Dubious practices. Beware. Found the spec of the Jaguar XF I wanted at Big Motoring World. Problem #1: Phoned them to check the availability of the car, "yes it was still available, did I want to reserve it for a £99 Refundable Deposit". The deposit was not refundable, but transferable to another car! I only found this out after receiving the text message upon arriving at the facility at Bluebell Hill, which I did not have time to read until the next day. I consider this underhand dealing. #2 Drove 102 miles to view the car. Met with a Salesperson that would be better flipping burgers at MdDs. Almost rude, but definitely disrespectful: "it only has one key, is that a deal breaker?"....before I had even seen the car I had spent 1.5hrs driving to see. "oh, most of our cars only have one key". They cost about £500 to buy a new one. #3. They get the car, and I see that it is an ex' lease car that has been unloved and knocked about, a Jaguar dealership would not have even listed the car as it was in such poor condition. "Oh, is that a deal breaker? It wont look any better after you have test driven it!" #4. Test drive: you are directed around a loop that has a 40mph speed limit and about 2 miles long, not enough to properly test the car, during that time I noted the steering wheel was not centered, "oh, the car comes with a 90 day warranty"...... I can tell you that it would not cover that sort of fault. #5. They promote the cars are sold at a bargain price, this car was below standard, but was at the correct price for a GOOD car. The price is non negotiable once you point out the deficiencies in the car. My experience would stop me from buying a car at this outfit. Looking at the Google reviews it is easy to see that the reviews are bogus: who would photograph the outside of the dealership, or the reception on their "outstanding review".

I have had no end of problems with this company, it's been absolutely awful - they are quite literally the worst company I have ever had to deal with! I bought a Discover Sport from the Enfield branch back in July. The price was agreed on the phone, however when I went to collect it they told me they had nothing written down and increased the price. In their words, "you either pay the full amount we're asking for, or you're not having the car". Stupidly, I paid it. On collection, I was told the Service record and spare key were both missing, and these would be sent by post within the next week. They never arrived. 2 months later, an engine fault was identified on the car and my local mechanic advised me to get it resolved under warranty as the car was in a “dangerous state of repair”. I tried calling, emailing and leaving messages to arrange repair through the warranty, but literally could not get through to anyone. It took 12 days before I was able to speak to someone! I asked for a courtesy car, and was told they didn't have any for me. They then arranged for the car to be collected, the earliest they could collect it was another 9 days later. Then they didn't show up. I called again and discovered they had forgotten to give the collection company my address (the collection company had been trying to call them but weren't able to get through - the irony!). They came the next day and took the car, and they assessed it the next day as well, acknowledging that the fault should have been caught in their "200 point checks" and agreeing that the repair would be completed under warranty. They then informed me that the earliest they could make the repair was in another 3 weeks time. I asked again if I could have a courtesy car, and they said they still didn't have any. A week before the car was due to be repaired, I was offered a courtesy car, but told I could only have it if i went to Peterborough to collect it, roughly 80 miles from my house, and I don't have a car at this point so no way of getting there. I had no choice but to decline it. On the day after the car was due to be repaired, I had heard nothing (no call, no email, no feedback of any kind) and so I called for an update. On starting the repair, they had realised they needed more parts and so could not complete the repair as agreed. The extra parts needed were now on order, but there was no delivery date and so they were unable to give me a repair date for the vehicle. Despite numerous attempts to get an update from them, I eventually began requesting a refund for the car so I could buy another one. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually agreed to a partial refund and despite me losing a lot more money, I accepted. It then took another two weeks to process the refund, again with just a few updates from the company and absolutely no urgency to get the process complete. From the day the car stopped working, to the day I received the refund payment took 2 months, 3 weeks and 2 days. This entire experience has cost me so much, not just financially, but from stress and anxiety as well, I have been really ill. The complete lack of empathy from any of the staff, the ignoring emails, messages, not answering the phone, hanging up on me while on hold, the list is endless. I’m so glad I can start to put this behind me and get on with my life, and I hope I can spare at least one person from having to go through a similar ordeal.

What a horrible horrible experience Beware of part exchange, they waste your time and you could be out of pocket! I initially called to ask to get a price for my part ex and if it would be possible to be send through a video to get a more precise figure as I am over 2 hours drive away. I was told this wasn’t possible and that I can get a figure straight away from their website, which came out at £4200. I wasn’t under any illusion that they would give me the full amount but having VW Doncaster offering me £3700 only last week I thought that they would probably place in it around the same sort of money. I reserved the car and booked to collect the car 4 days later. After a 5 hour round trip I was told that the initial offer of £4200 had come down to £2750, £1450 difference from when they originally quoted and £950 difference from VW Doncaster who had also physically seen the car. I don’t understand how they had such a huge difference in valuation, I have 2 garages who have valued my car over £3500! I get these guys are in sales but I felt they purposely low balled me as they assumed id just go with it. 5 hour round trip, half a days holidays and fuel down the drain down thanks to Big motoring World. No call from them regarding my online valuation on my car. No call from them after I paid my deposit to confirm my appointment, which they said I would. Ahmed who initially saw me was great and can’t fault him, shame about the company you work for!! Worst experience of buying a car, never ever again do I want to hear of Big Motoring World!

BUYER BEWARE... DO NOT TRUST... TERRIBLE AFTERSALES SERVICE... FAKE 200-POINT INSPECTION!! I purchased a Mercedes GLC from Big Motoring World on 11th September 2022. Within two weeks of owning the car a low-pressure tyre sensor light appeared. Nervous I was driving a car with a faulty tyre; I took the car to a tyre garage for inspection. I was informed that the tyre had a temporary repair, was not in road worthy condition and should have been replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle. They informed me that this kind of repair should only be done in emergency situations and in fact is an illegal repair here the UK. If I was to be pulled over by the police, I may have been liable for points and a fine. I was informed that it need replacing immediately at a replacement cost of £250. After a stressful attempt to contact Big Motoring World aftersales teams (Their phones lines just cut dead, or no one can put you through to the right team) I was told to email. I bought a car from Big Motoring World with faith that they had carried out a 200-point inspection as they advertise so that issues like this would not occur. It was apparent that an inspection on this vehicle had not been carried out as promised and when requesting the report for the vehicle they sent me their standard template checklist. After sending lengthy emails Big Motoring World have offered me a ‘goodwill’ partial settlement amount to towards the replacement and informed I should not of instructed a third party to replace without their prior consent. I unfortunately had no choice as the tyre was in an illegal condition. Unable to come to an agreement with Big Motoring World, they have left me no choice but to take legal action against them.

NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!! Couple of months ago bought a car from Warrington branch, throughout the whole process the customer service was absolutely disgusting, in fact so bad that makes you feel humiliated. For the 3 days which took me to actually finish the deal I was constantly made to wait for hours together with all the other customers experiencing the same thing. When I test drove the car, it showed problems with the seatbelts and the bonnet which means all the checks they say they have done on the car is a lie so don't count on that. After they assured me the car has been fixed I still have issues with the seat belts. While buying the car I also purchased a 3 year warranty which is an absolute SCAM, because I've already spoken to 6 garages and they all refuse to deal with the warranty company, because apparently they never pay them. The reason I needed to use the warranty was because after driving the car for a couple of days realised that the lumbar support on the drivers seat isn't working and it's very uncomfortable. So after being refused by all the garages to deal with the warranty company I had to pay for the fix myself and email bigassist what happen and claim my money back which they refused straight away. And now I realise I just lost 2000£ on ussless warranty.

TERRIBLE COMPANY Couldn't thought the enfield branch only ones who have tried to help. Had complaint going on for months now and I have been the only one doing all the chasing, I had purchased a car in may 2022 on A PCP plan and part ex my previous car which needed to be SETTLED then 2 months later advised I was in arrears with my previous car?? then called finance company close brothers and big motoring world they wouldn't look into the issue kept being told "Your get a call back" weeks later made a formal complaint wouldn't listen to me a girl called SOPHIE HAZEL from Kent branch kept on ignoring all my emails, then went to branch to manager she then contacted her to call me and didn't still. My credit rating had been affected for months was denied credit and my score has always been excellent. Also false advertisement about their ombudsmen details on the website its actually a energy company. Still to this day they are not helping me. Customer service skills are shocking and vile. I will look forward to taking this legal.

Keep far away from this unreliable company! I had a horrible experience with Big Motoring World Enfield branch. I purchased a vehicle few weeks ago. As soon as I got in the vehicle I had a engine light on the dashboard before I moved the vehicle so I headed back to collection department and explained them what I saw, they said nothing to worry as It might happen as the vehicle hadn’t been driven long time and they removed the warning and they let me take the vehicle. Next day engine light came up again so I went back to branch and told them again warning still there, they said that they would fix it but my vehicle had to stay two days in their garage. After two days nothing fixed and now they are telling me that they can do nothing, if I want my vehicle get fixed I need to sort this with their head office. In a short term they are throwing me off after selling a faulty vehicle, it has been two weeks so nce I purchased still couldn’t drive it, no kindly approach, and they are asking me why I took the vehicle when I saw engine light. It means They are blaming me as I trusted them. Now my advice to anyone who are planning to buy vehicle from them is never to trust them, get the vehicle checked by reliable mechanic before purchase a vehicle from them.

Firstly I would like to start with the fact that when you purchase a car through this dealers they offer you a voucher to review them then and there, I imagine this is because most reviews will be positive it’s not until things go wrong that you realise how poor they actually are! I have had an absolutely shocking experience! I purchased an Audi A1, before I had even left the dealership a fault light appeared, it was taken to their on sight “mechanic” 3 times and each time I was sent away being told the issue had been fixed. On the third time the dealership had closed so I could not return but I was assured if the light came on again once I had left that it would be fixed. The car also had a light shake to it when stationary and as the days went on this become worse. I then spent a week phoning and emailing with minimal response, I was constantly told someone would call me back and they never would! I eventually took the car to be diagnosed to an Audi specialist as I couldn’t wait any longer, the diagnostics detected 7 faults throughout the vehicle one of which was an engine fault!! I finally spoke to someone from aftersales and sent them the proof of my private diagnostics, they informed me that they would have to diagnose the car themselves in order to provide me with any sort of refund. Initially I was told they would only repair the car but I did not trust for one second that this would be done to a good enough standard considering the shocking service I had received up until this point. The car was eventually returned and I have received a refund, since purchasing with them numerous people I have spoken to have had very similar experiences. They claim to carry out a 200 point inspection but somehow managed to miss 7 faults!! It makes me feel bad that someone else is probably going to purchase the vehicle and the likelihood that the faults have been repaired are slim. I would honestly avoid ever purchasing a car from this dealers and I regret not listening to the reviews myself.

POOR POOR aftersales service. Just under 4000 miles since purchase, brakes and service light on, will do NOTHING to help me, emailed them 3 weeks ago raising these issues after a very unhelpful and rude conversation via phone, no response, no sympathy and attitude of the staff I called initially to explain the faults with the vehicle, was rude and did not care, refused to provide after sales managers names. Lack of care, rude and unresponsive. Will kick you to kerb when they have taken your money!!!

Factory sales. You only matter to them until you sign the contract. After-sales service does not exist. Lies, lies and more lies. Minutes after leaving them, two lights came on: check engine & tire pressure. I wasted a total of 8 hours waiting to hear that the sensor is faulty and have to order a new one. Two weeks later - no contact. The car lacks functions such as: Apple Carplay - despite the description on the website, the seller assures, twice confirmed by the service. When I asked a technician to show the function, he said he had to read the entire manual and would do it next time. At the next visit, the seller said that they were not the ones who made the descriptions on the website, so it was not their problem, and I signed that I checked everything - jokers! So they are not responsible for the description of the car on their website, they are not responsible for what the seller says - if you buy a car, you have to check all the functions yourself! This was and is the worst experience in buying a car. Never again - better go to authorized showrooms, because in this place only sales count - not you.

Avoid at all costs. I arrived at Big Motoring World to purchase a car we saw on their website. We had appointment booked and still waited for 1 hour as they short of staff (a lot of the young staff look fed up working there) Eventually we got to view car for 2 mins and test drive (is so short too) and sales person keeps talking so cannot listen out for noises coming from engine or suspension. Pushy sales staff made us agree to buy the car then and there. We were then asked about optional extras to which we said no, were not interested but the pushy sales person said he will talk us through as managers are watching him on camera. We pointed out about the spec of the car which again we had already seen online which didn’t match the car. At this point we wanted to just pay and drive car home. Instead we were given a car care (Gardx) sales pitch which we didnt want but had to do and then again for gap insurance and when we repeatedly said no were not interested, were met with multiple why statements and scare tactics about car crashes. Over 3 HOURS LATER we are fed up of the going off for 10 minutes into the office area each time. The floor manager about the experience we had and he returned with saying were FCA approved and this takes time and how he worked for multiple dealerships where 3 hours is normal instead of listening to the customer experience and taking on the feedback to improve. Ive bought multiple cars over the years and this was so unnecessary. He kept giving sale pitch after sale pitch through trying to push overpriced GAP insurance and warranted products (any issues with vehicle you need to take to Kent head office) - lots of complaints about BigAssist and the cars breaking down. Salesperson kept being pushy and sales coordinator wanted to give scare tactics. After numerously saying I dont want the extras I just want the car and no being heard, we reluctantly paid for car and made to sign numerous disclaimers. Had to agree car has 1 key and details shown on their website could be incorrect regarding spec and number of former keepers and V5 is not available to view until handover which can take another 1 or 2 hours. Finally they decide to call us into the office informing that there is no V5 and forcing to take v62 form. I explained I cannot tax this vehicle using this form and they said take to post office tomorrow and take the without road tax which is illegally. Overall stressful situation The cars ex lease or hire cars they purchased at auction and many don’t have v5 logbook. This car dealership cannot be trusted rebranded. They refused to refund even though I didn’t receive cars. I was then made to email to which got no response and then chased for days and days until they agreed to refund. Staff were rude on the phone and hanged up several times. I had to tell them I would take legal action if I was unable to get refund and then they still said the court would ask them to refund my money. Big Motoring and - All same push sales tactics and unprofessional staff. Big Motoring World are run by cowboys wanting to just make profit. The staff are rude and cars Do not be fooled by big office and milkshakes. They offer £10 voucher for positive reviews. Please do not believe them reviews as those customers would have had issues after writing review.

Terrible company, sold me a car with faults without disclosing before then refused to help when I contacted them within the 3 month warranty and even accused me of causing the faults. Heard many people said they had been sold faulty cars and refused help. Obvious scammers

So did I. I just bought an Audi A6 from big motoring world just month ago and noticed some mechanical faults outright after purchase. Despite several email correspondence and fone conversation they have not practically done anything to repair. They also refused Audi diagnostic centre report of issues. So Im definitely going to refuse and return this back and claim refund ASAP under right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act if the car is unfit for purpose, of unsatisfactory quality or not as described. You can ask for a repair or replacement, but you're not obliged to accept one and can insist on a full refund, which the dealer will be legally obliged to give.

I bought my car from here less than a month ago, 4 years old with 30,000 miles on the clock, fast forward 3 weeks my car won’t start. Big motoring worlds after sales team don’t work on the weekend which is very funny when they have a full team of pre sale employees who do ready take your money. I called up to be told my car can’t be fixed by them until 4 weeks time end of December which is an outrage because unless you’re privileged enough to have a second car isn’t possible at all. I need my car for work which they came back to and said you can get this done by a local garage. Luckily Halfords were able to help which came to 300 quid. I have 3 month warranty on this car which I got told repeatedly is a (gesture of good will from these money grabbers) but what’s my £200 admin fee for then? The sales rep done nothing for getting my car! This dirty company offered to give me £128 for my repairs which was a sensory issue nothing from my end. For a job that cost 300 quid al because it had to be done from a different garage. I wouldn’t need to if I didn’t have to wait 4 weeks to get my car fixed for your issue!. Now who expects having a car for less than a month you’d have to spend an extra 180 on repairing it. Honestly anyone looking for a new car do not come to this place they are so happy to take your money but when it comes to paying and being fair they lack none of it. Tell me honestly how you don’t have a after sales team on the weekend m. It’s such poor customer service you money grabbers. I’m happy for you to reply because I can carry on for hours big motoring world I’ve provided my plate for you to know exactly who I am. Anyone who has any questions please ask I’m more than happy to tell you why this is horrific

Definitely NOT a Credible Business. MOST DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this seller as they're crafty, evasive and not on The Motor Ombudsman's list either This 2018 Audi A6 shown as navigation ready was sold without SD card and it took me months to get one back from them. I was denied test drive and it came with bunch of intermittent problems. I reported them within 15 days but was not offered a return which was my statutory right and was instead directed to manufacturer as to evade their responsibility and who has also failed to fix the problems. They haven't subscribed to The Motor Ombudsman so couldn't get any mediation service as well. I requested part exchange and they initially nocked down £2,400 on price and later on completely denied it.
