Rubbish! Awaiting my delivery for hours now! The first excuse was traffic! The second excuse was suddenly the original team were sick and a new team were allocated?? So, being stuck in traffic must be sickening 🙄

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from BJS delivery. My mattress was delivered last week, but only half of the bed frame arrived, leaving me in an unacceptable situation. As a result, I have been forced to sleep on the floor for an entire week, which is simply not reasonable. What has made this situation even worse is the appalling level of customer service. Every time I have tried to resolve the issue, I have been met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. The representatives repeatedly say the same things without actually addressing my concerns, making it feel like I am not being listened to at all. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with such a lack of understanding and accountability. There have been no reasonable solutions offered, no urgency to fix the problem, and no real attempt to make things right. Overall, this has been a very poor experience from start to finish, and I am genuinely appalled by the level of service provided.

Absolutely horrendous service. Mattress from John Lewis delivered by BJS. When they arrived I offered to show them the bedroom and they said they couldn’t take it upstairs! What? They pretended to phone their supervisor and then said they had run out of time and so needed to leave. So I’m now left with a mattress in my hallway and no means of getting it upstairs. Honestly. What were they expecting me to do? Take it upstairs on my own? A single female. John Lewis, PLEASE stop using this terrible company.

Absolutely unacceptable and dishonest service. I took a full day off work (losing income) to wait for my bed delivery. I was told the driver would arrive within 10 minutes, so I stayed ready and available. Instead, I later received a message falsely claiming that I had “refused delivery”, which is completely untrue. I did not refuse anything — I was at home all day. I even tried calling the driver multiple times, but my calls were ignored. Afterwards, I was told there was a “road restriction”, which completely contradicts the earlier claim that I refused the delivery. This shows a clear lack of communication and honesty. Because of this company’s failure, I have been left without a bed and now have nowhere to sleep. This has caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. Providing false information and conflicting excuses instead of delivering the item is extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise others to avoid this company. You may lose time, money, and still not receive your delivery.

If you see that this is the delivery company for your furniture, run a mile. They fail to deliver and then refuse to rectify their mistake. Very rude customer service, they hang up on me.

They gave me a 3 hour window, never turned up, couldn't even be bothered to tell me that weren't going to deliver. Hopeless and a complete waste of my time.

Worst delivery company I have ever experienced. Extremely incompetent. I had a delivery on a day I am moving in - a vital delivery for me to be able sleep in the unfurnished flat I am moving in. I contacted them to request them to come anytime after 11am as I will be rearranging my relocation until 11 and will arrive at the delivery address at 11. They said they cannot guarantee but cna request. The day before the delivery day at 7pm they told me they will arrive between 8-11am. It is like a joke. I contacted them they just said they cannot make changes and ask me to contact supplier at 7.30 after EOD. They put me in such a vulnerable situation. The lack of support, the lack of willingness to help, lack of communication and lack of management. Many to add. They are very incompetent. If you can avoid, please avoid.

I have had the home delivery for about two years. It went relatively well until a month or two ago. Out of the past four deliveries, three were terrible experiences - one NEVER arriving (part of it was to be dinner!) and two taking more than 6 hours, though they indicate to expect about two hours. Sometimes, they send a receipt, most times they don’t and you must go online to see what you were charged and charged for. Overall, I am rethinking if this makes any sense at all to continue with BJ’s.

ordered a desk from secretlabs, costing ÂŁ1000 and they used this company. if i knew i wouldnt of wasted my time. so they arrived on time and dropped of my parcels as i was arriving home from work. i checked my order and 1 box was missing, so quickly run out and knocked on the drivers window and asked about the missing box. the driver said its in the warehouse it was to big for the van. so i thought fine, they will update me and gimme a new delivery date. wrong nothing no updates, i contact them they dont have it. i contact secretlads and there telling me its been delivered. total joke something so expensive should be sent by a reputable company like DPD or UPS.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a wardrobe, smaller than the one I had and the 2 delivery men that arrived could barely move let alone lift it up the stairs, gave an excuse that it wouldn't fit, even though i'd had one come down, bigger and plenty of room, so off its gone. Useless, and no respect. Now have a wall to decorate from their laziness! Shame companies use these given their glowing reviews!!

Absolutely dire. It’s a real shame for companies who use this shambles of an outfit to deliver their products. I ordered a mattress and despite giving clear instructions on how to find the property (new build development) 1. when I placed the order 2. talking to the driver/navigator 3. three way call with the driver/navigator and BJS ‘customer service’ They failed to do their job and deliver the mattress. Being shouted at to ‘share location now’ with someone whose first language is not English while they are talking amongst one another in another language is really demeaning, and then when trying to answer questions being asked- just continually spoken over in broken English is unprofessional. I knew the mattress was not going to be delivered when the woman in ‘customer service’ (I use that term very loosely) who instigated the three way call said something along the lines of ‘they’ve been thirty minutes finding you’. Strange how Tesco, John Lewis and Amazon have all managed to find the address with the exact same directions given. I rang ‘ Customer Service’ an hour later and spoke to someone who I struggled to understand and was fobbed off the phone after being left on hold for quite sometime. I can’t help but feel she was hoping I’d hang up. A whole day wasted waiting for these. So, if you’ve ordered something and you get a text to say this shower will be delivering it- best of luck to you. Dire.

A cooker delivery/take away old cooker: (Mum's in a block of flats) The 2 delivery men advised they couldn't take it to a 2nd floor. So, I advised them I'd be a few minutes while I took the old cooker down a level (took all of 4 minutes) so they could take that then bring the new cooker up the stairs and I'd take the new cooker the rest of the way to my mum's flat. However, as I went outside to tell them, they had already driven off! This was/is absolutely shocking customer service, I've never experienced anything so poor. Don't think I need to say anything else.

This is now the second time I’ve experienced a failed delivery with BJS Home Delivery due to their inability to confirm whether they can deliver to my floor — despite this being clearly communicated in advance. Today, the delivery driver came to my front door only to tell me he could not deliver to my floor. He then handed me his phone and told me to speak to management. While I was explaining the situation — and stating that I had already spoken to management and clearly communicated this issue — the delivery driver continuously interrupted me, refused to listen, pointed his finger at me in my own home, abruptly said “I will not”, and then walked off, cancelling the delivery. Shortly afterwards, I received an email stating that the delivery had been successfully delivered, which is simply untrue. For transparency, the individuals involved were: WLD014 – Varinder WLSM014 – Rajpreet What is most concerning is not just the failed delivery, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic communication. I was simply trying to ensure the issue was understood so it could be properly communicated internally and avoided in future. Instead, I was spoken over, dismissed, and left with no resolution. This situation was entirely avoidable, extremely frustrating, and has now happened twice. I would strongly recommend not using BJS Home Delivery if you expect clear communication, respectful behaviour, or accountability.

Far the worst company I had to deal with came to deliver the package without package being in van so it was scheduled for next day and the same happened try to ring and they were just hanging the phone on me. Disgraceful customer service

Absolutely unacceptable and by far the worst delivery company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The first delivery was cancelled due to a ‘family emergency’ which conveniently was their last delivery on a Saturday, despite waiting in all day for it and no communication being made. The rescheduled delivery was attempted 4 days later whereby they turned up 30 minutes early with no phone call, then informed me they had a severely damaged box and could not deliver - another wasted day. I was told by one of the rude delivery people ‘it did not matter as they get paid by the hour regardless so they would sit and wait for the delivery time and then they would still be paid even though they can’t deliver it and it wasn’t their problem as they did not load the truck and would still be paid’ super professional again… Two Saturdays later they deliver only to be told by email that not all boxes had been loaded onto their truck so half a delivery made and no assembly with no confirmed date of when they will return. Absolutely unacceptable and continually wasted my time as a wheelchair user who has three times deassembled my desk ready for the delivery only to be let down again and again, arranging for family to help but bent left without a desk once again and incomplete delivery…

Absolutely shocking driving and treatment of stockage, came across these twats hogging the fast lane of a completely clear M5 and then when undertaken they proceeded to tailgate an attempt to overtake while nearly crashing into me.

Appalling, the delivery guys made it abundantly clear that they didn’t want to take my new mattress up the stairs, spent more time on the phone talking to their boss about other deliveries. The mattress now sits in my hallway. AVOID !!!!!!!

BJS Home delivery very poor customer service. From the moment of entering my house the two delivery drivers were surly and tried to get me to let them just dump the boxed furniture at my house without unpacking it. We had bought a big oak dresser with glass front as an assembled piece of furniture. But it came in 2 pieces. The top needed lifting on the base. I was on my own so could not have managed it and the 2 delivery people refused. They phoned their manager and he also refused saying we hadn't booked assembly. I explained all I wanted them to do was lift the top bit on the bottom bit. I threatened to just have them return the whole thing as I was so disgusted with their rude attitudes and poor behaviour. Eventually they relented and it literally took the 2 people less than one minute to place the top bit on the bottom. So much easier than 10 minutes plus of rudeness and poor customer service! Absolutely useless delivery service. They didn't even take off all the packing materials and take it away like I had paid for. I didn't have the energy to deal with more surliness so just let them go. I was really looking forward to my new cabinet after a 6 weeks wait. Now I can't look at it or bring myself to take the extra packing off so have just shut the door to the room to forget about the nightmare delivery and calm down for a while! Do not use this company!
