A cooker delivery/take away old cooker: (Mum's in a block of flats) The 2 delivery men advised they couldn't take it to a 2nd floor. So, I advised them I'd be a few minutes while I took the old cooker down a level (took all of 4 minutes) so they could take that then bring the new cooker up the stairs and I'd take the new cooker the rest of the way to my mum's flat. However, as I went outside to tell them, they had already driven off! This was/is absolutely shocking customer service, I've never experienced anything so poor. Don't think I need to say anything else.

This is now the second time I’ve experienced a failed delivery with BJS Home Delivery due to their inability to confirm whether they can deliver to my floor — despite this being clearly communicated in advance. Today, the delivery driver came to my front door only to tell me he could not deliver to my floor. He then handed me his phone and told me to speak to management. While I was explaining the situation — and stating that I had already spoken to management and clearly communicated this issue — the delivery driver continuously interrupted me, refused to listen, pointed his finger at me in my own home, abruptly said “I will not”, and then walked off, cancelling the delivery. Shortly afterwards, I received an email stating that the delivery had been successfully delivered, which is simply untrue. For transparency, the individuals involved were: WLD014 – Varinder WLSM014 – Rajpreet What is most concerning is not just the failed delivery, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic communication. I was simply trying to ensure the issue was understood so it could be properly communicated internally and avoided in future. Instead, I was spoken over, dismissed, and left with no resolution. This situation was entirely avoidable, extremely frustrating, and has now happened twice. I would strongly recommend not using BJS Home Delivery if you expect clear communication, respectful behaviour, or accountability.

Far the worst company I had to deal with came to deliver the package without package being in van so it was scheduled for next day and the same happened try to ring and they were just hanging the phone on me. Disgraceful customer service

Absolutely unacceptable and by far the worst delivery company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The first delivery was cancelled due to a ‘family emergency’ which conveniently was their last delivery on a Saturday, despite waiting in all day for it and no communication being made. The rescheduled delivery was attempted 4 days later whereby they turned up 30 minutes early with no phone call, then informed me they had a severely damaged box and could not deliver - another wasted day. I was told by one of the rude delivery people ‘it did not matter as they get paid by the hour regardless so they would sit and wait for the delivery time and then they would still be paid even though they can’t deliver it and it wasn’t their problem as they did not load the truck and would still be paid’ super professional again… Two Saturdays later they deliver only to be told by email that not all boxes had been loaded onto their truck so half a delivery made and no assembly with no confirmed date of when they will return. Absolutely unacceptable and continually wasted my time as a wheelchair user who has three times deassembled my desk ready for the delivery only to be let down again and again, arranging for family to help but bent left without a desk once again and incomplete delivery…

Absolutely shocking driving and treatment of stockage, came across these twats hogging the fast lane of a completely clear M5 and then when undertaken they proceeded to tailgate an attempt to overtake while nearly crashing into me.

Appalling, the delivery guys made it abundantly clear that they didn’t want to take my new mattress up the stairs, spent more time on the phone talking to their boss about other deliveries. The mattress now sits in my hallway. AVOID !!!!!!!

BJS Home delivery very poor customer service. From the moment of entering my house the two delivery drivers were surly and tried to get me to let them just dump the boxed furniture at my house without unpacking it. We had bought a big oak dresser with glass front as an assembled piece of furniture. But it came in 2 pieces. The top needed lifting on the base. I was on my own so could not have managed it and the 2 delivery people refused. They phoned their manager and he also refused saying we hadn't booked assembly. I explained all I wanted them to do was lift the top bit on the bottom bit. I threatened to just have them return the whole thing as I was so disgusted with their rude attitudes and poor behaviour. Eventually they relented and it literally took the 2 people less than one minute to place the top bit on the bottom. So much easier than 10 minutes plus of rudeness and poor customer service! Absolutely useless delivery service. They didn't even take off all the packing materials and take it away like I had paid for. I didn't have the energy to deal with more surliness so just let them go. I was really looking forward to my new cabinet after a 6 weeks wait. Now I can't look at it or bring myself to take the extra packing off so have just shut the door to the room to forget about the nightmare delivery and calm down for a while! Do not use this company!

ORDERD A TV FROM BJs ONLINE. TOOK A MONTH TO ARRIVE FROM MIAMI FL TO JUPITER FL. ARRIVED IN A DAMAGED BOX. TV SCREEN SHATTERED. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. STILL WAITING FOR BJs TO MAKE GOOD ON WORTHLESS TV. THIS WEBSITE WILL UPLOAD MY PICS

They never delivered my freezer, I received a message saying they had attempted to deliver what a lie I have waited all morning and I have ring camera doorbell, they have not even given me another delivery date nothing.I have never heard if this company and I can see why they are a disgrace.

Went to this company for a job today the behaviour of both Indian men were ever so rude to my ht he asked for visa status and then again second person came and asked for visa status they both were speaking Punjabi and they said to me can’t speak Punjabi they have cameras how rude they were talking in Punjabi with my husband why they asked me 2 times if my visa status if they chat Punjabi and say you can’t speak Punjabi because of working at this place all workers Punjabi you both were chatting Punjabi how rude disgusting behaviour

I organised for my delivery to be with me at 16.30 due to being at the hospital. However i received a call aeound 14.45 fron the delivery guy to say he be with me in 30mins. I explained to him that i want be there he stated i that he will ring the office. He also mentioned thar he can see that it states on thr form to leace in safe place and also i not going to be back until after 16.30. I runf the office and got throufh to what i thought was customer service (lack off) i stated to rhe call handler that i want be home till 4.30 which she seen and stated that she has now finished and cant help. I asked to speak to a manager she stated that she would arrange a call back At 15.45 i call the office again to ask for a manager again lack of service. The advisor stated there nothibf that can be done. I stated i atill waiting for a call back from a manager yet again whilst typing this no call back. Further more this company has now put unsuccessful on my delivery. The advisor has stated that i shoulf contact the supplier. I explained i been at hospital this morning and you our leaving me with out a bed.

Was due to get delivered today but was cancelled as driver couldn't find address even though I spoke with him on the phone given him directions ! My partner even said he would meet him & show him directions. I have taken time off my work for delivery ! My daughter hasn't got a mattress at the moment due to them not delivering! Not good enough

Very poor communication and very poor service. I was given a delivery time, texted to me by the driver. He arrived 10 minutes early and would not wait for me. I called the call centre and requested to speak with the manager. This was promised but no one has called me back. I am still waiting to hear when I will receive my delivery, 4 days after the initial delivery date. Please avoid this company.

Trying to get a time slot was bad enough, that wasn’t confirmed until 7.30pm the evening before the delivery day. The bed was in three parcels and they refused to take the biggest one up because of a bend in the stairs even though I pointed out that I had a king size and double divan bed in the other bedrooms. They said they’d leave the biggest parcel (30 kilos) downstairs and I could take it up. I said I’d unpack it if it made it easier but they didn’t have time. I had to cancel the order and they took it all away. I won’t order anything from a company that uses BJS

I waited all day for a delivery sent from John Lewis today. Delivery slot 1-4pm with a promise of a call 30min out. 20min before the end of this 3hour slot. Text msg: Good Afternoon, Unfortunately, the delivery team is running behind due to unforeseen traffic conditions. They are expected to be with you between 1700 to 2000 hrs. If this is suitable the drivers will still call 30- 45 minutes before delivery. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Kind Regards, BJS HOME DELIVERY“ They called 6:30pm “we are here but no body here” “we can only wait 4min and then Go” I had to drive into London to take collection of this for my client, a 3 hour round trip! I told him this and said they can surely wait 5min for the client to come to the door and let them in. They weren’t even in the street as we have CCTV. They never rang the doorbell bell. When I mentioned on the phone to them that it was a basement apartment they said they can leave on the street and go. We paid for unpacking and transport into the apartment for a reason. I asked them for their number to call them back on as I’d have to call the owner to come and meet them, street level. All return call numbers when to “out off office hours automation msg” They didn’t want to know. And after reviewing the CCTV, we now know why. Didn’t ring the door bell or call/knock at door! They were probably on the side of road on there way home calling me. Disgraceful company! Had to give one star as no option for zero. Really can’t understand why a reputable company like John Lewis would use them.
