Terrible service. Very abusive delivery driver. Failed to complete the delivery so I had to complete it myself. One star is too many

Worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Ordered bed from Happy Beds. Wouldn’t deliver because of an error on the postcode despite arriving less than a mile away. Unhelpful staff at the call centre. Redelivery, missed a call from them but couldn’t call back as pre-office hours and the delivery driver refused to answer. Avoid happy beds or any company that uses this crooked outfit at all costs.

Decided to check out reviews for this company having just witnessed some appalling driving by one of their vans & guess what...lots of 1* reviews complaining of the same thing. Is their schedule so tight that they have to drive dangerously close in 30 zone & overtake on corners?

Ordered a TV stand from Wayfair. The delivery instructions from Wayfair clearly stated that if any of the packaging was damaged on delivery I had to note it on the delivery note as they could not do anything about it if the item was damaged and I hadn't made a note. 2 men from BJS brought the 2 boxes in and it was immediately clear that both boxes had rips and dents in them. It looked like they had been dropped and taped up again. 1 of the rips was big enough for me to see the item inside which had digs in the wood. I pointed it out and the men just said "you need to tell Wayfair as there's nothing we can do". They were unfriendly and disinterested. I said I have to sign the paperwork to say the item is damaged but they said there's no paperwork. I insisted they didn't leave until I sign something. They reluctantly took a photo of the damage and got the delivery order up on their phone. I wrote on the phone there was damage and signed it. Later that day I received an email from BJS with a copy of a delivery note stating "no damage" and showing a false customer signature which wasn't mine. If you are having items delivered by BJS then beware as they are liars. Wayfair have apologised and sorted a discount for me. They said they would investigate what happened with BJS but I bet they're still using them, even though BJS have terrible reviews

We just took delivery of a new TV bought from Richer Sounds and delivered by BJS Two Man Delivery the lead man delivering was Aggressive and rude ... I coud give this Company ZERO I would... What BJS doesn't appear to understand is the these delivery drivers are the Representative's of BJS and its their behaviour that forms our insight into the culture of BJS as a Company ...

Awful. Rude drivers, extremely aggressive towards me to the point where my neighbour (an ex-police officer) came out and asked them to behave more appropriately. They damaged the wardrobe they delivered extensively. I will never order off Wayfair again now.

Dreadful customer service, refused to wait 2 minutes so I could unwrap and inspect the third wardrobe they had delivered, they disappeared through my front door without a word and left it wide open. Marked my new landing and bedroom carpet. Worst of all the wardrobe was damaged again (3rd time). Had to battle for hours to get them to come back and take it away. Customer services cut me off and did not call me back. Have not followed another reasonable request which was to let me have a copy of their complaints procedure. Awful company.

Waiting for a mattress delivery scheduled for 16th june between 14:00 & 17:00, got a text to say they would be late due to traffic, now between 18:00 & 19:00 , fair enough, then at 18:15 get a text to say driver was sick and had to return to base. Re-schedule for Monday 20th between 15:00 & 18:00, Get a call Monday morning saying the mattress had not been loaded on the wagon and would not be delivered. A few phone calls later and re-schedule for Friday 24th between 12:00 & 15:00,get a text at 13:30 saying the original delivery team had called in sick and a new team would deliver the mattress not between 14:00 & 17:00. I`m now having doubts it is going to arrive again....but...at about 14:30 it finally arrived, so after 9 days of sleeping on the floor we`ll have a bed to sleep in. Its ok that my wife had to take 3 days off work waiting for these deliveries, she`s a self employed cleaner, never mind its just money, everyones got plenty of that these days, Havn`t they ???

This company is the worst delivery company, I had to wait for more than 5 hours, the company states that the drivers would contact me 45mins before the delivery, no one contacted me. My delivery slot was between 10-13 and at 13:45 I contacted the company and again at 13:50 no response and at 14:00 I received an email stating that they can't deliver my item and that I would have to wait until the following week. Who does this and I am so pissed off. Avoid this company!!!!!!

They delivered on behalf of Furniture Village a bedroom wardrobe, 5 chest of drawers and 3 chest of drawers which I was told would be assembled by the delivery staff. After 20mins or so I was informed this had been done but on checking they had not fixed the 10 handles on the drawers or wardrobe. I said that Furniture Village told me it would be assembled as seen in their store only to be told by the delivery guy that most people like to put their own handles on! He reluctantly started to put on the handles and I went to get his colleague from the delivery lorry to help him who then asked me if I had a spare screwdriver! They mumbled they wouldn’t be able to have a lunch break now, they also said they only get 20mins per job and that they left Birmingham at 08:00 that day! (None of which was my problem). As they left I was handed an unopened packet of tacks/pins with them telling me if the back wears out the use these to fix it! Consequently I have been back to Furniture Village because believe it or not the so called soft close drawers are jamming and won’t close. Turns out they should have used these pins to fix the back panels to each of the units. The 5 chest of drawers isn’t fit for purpose because they didn’t secure the back panel and it’s gradually losing its shape and all of the drawers are jamming! This was 2 weeks ago and although Furniture Village are trying to be helpful to get this resolved why am I even in the position. If BJS Home Delivery assembled my furniture correctly in the first place as they should be instructed to do and who Furniture Village trust them to do I wouldn’t be complaining. By the way, when I phoned Furniture Village support line to follow up this issue I was 30th in the queue which tells me I am not alone when it comes to customers having issues with their deliveries.

I paid extra for a 2 man room of choice delivery - the delivery drivers were extremely rude, dumped the order in the corridor and as I was telling them it is a 2 man delivery could they please take it on the first floor they just walked out, saying they are not taking it up. Extremely unprofessional

Writing on behalf of old man who’s had the worst experience. Ordered a new Philips OLED through Richer Sounds who used these jokers as a delivery service. They were first supposed to delivery the TV last Thursday, but two hours before they send a text saying the lorry had broken down so they couldn’t deliver. My old man was informed the delivery would be rearranged for today. But low and behold two hours AFTER the delivery time slot he got the same text. The lorry had broken down and they were unable to deliver again. Absolute disgrace with lame excuses. He’s now expecting delivery on Thursday, but has no faith it’ll turn up. Shocking from top to bottom

This company are a joke. Richer Sounds should not be using them for any services. They decide not to process my delivery on Friday when it had been pending for a week, due to personal issue with a driver. They then tell me they cannot possibly put my order on a Monday delivery due to routes already being "finalized". Therefore all Monday deliveries in essence, get prioritised over my Friday delivery that they failed to deliver. Also they claim to offer a next day service, how would this be possible if routes get finalized so far in advance? They should be putting in special measures for their mistakes! To put the nail in the coffin my Tuesday delivery has also been cancelled as they "forgot" to put the order on the Van. I repeat, this company are a joke. I have expressed to them multiple times how I have had to take days off work to be home for this delivery and they do not care. They still are not striving or putting in special measures for their mistakes. I have asked them to use a different same day courier as they are clearly not competent! However apparently this is "not possible". Of course it is, Get you managers company credit card and book a competent service. Trust me there are companies out there that can deliver. I don't need your BS.

This service is a joke at best. Two weeks of waiting five cans were sent all cans were dented so badly that they are difficult to open. The rest of the food won’t get here for the birthday party. I’m so sad and extremely disappointed in BJS. I am not a happy customer ☹️😩

Received 4 emails about delivery, covid, ventilated room etc followed by text advising delivery would be between 1000 and 1200 so made arrangements accordingly including return of a hire car first thing in the morning. Got a call at 0820 saying they had arrived and no one is home. Raced back home to find my teenage daughter had opened the door and let them in. They had taken the old mattress off the bed and put the new one in its place and then said they couldn’t take the old mattress as it wasn’t covered. I suggested they put the plastic from the new mattress on the old one but they wouldn’t let me. They phoned their dispatcher and walked to the van then just pixxed off. Basically rude, indifferent and unprofessional. I don’t know why companies keep using them.

Sad that your driver had to ride up my daughters backside when she was having a driving lesson today. Panicked her like mad, really dangerous to drive like this
