I ordered a book from UAE on December 8th 2020 and still, i did not receive the book ... I paid $117 ....sent several emails but no reply...

I bought volume 30 of Attack on Titan, it’s the last volume I need and it was on sale. I paid for faster delivery, 2-4 business days. It’s several days past that and no sign of it arriving. I’ve emailed asking after my book, no response. Customer service is terrible. Price is reasonable and the delivery is appalling. Convinced it’s a scam site

I wouldn't give them one star if I could. The company needs to review their on line service. It is the worst I've come across. 14days waiting for a notebook AND IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED YET and I'm live in the UK. Customer service tuck 6 day to reply to my email. Witch didn't help find were my order was Will read review on companies before I use them next time .

Purchased a second hand book for over £31.00 plus £2.49 postage on 10th May. Confirmation of payment via PayPal email arrived immediately. Dispatch email arrived next day on 11th May. It's now 30th May and no book! Have tried to contact Blackwells 5 times, even emailed the bookshop in London. I only get automated responses saying check account for updates. My order does not show on the account. I am so upset my book has not arrived, and no customer service whatsoever. Will the book ever arrive.? Should have gone to Amazon...Shame on you Blackwells!

Terrible experience!! Avoid if you can. I wanted to support the smaller seller rather than Amazon, but I’m still waiting for the book to arrive almost a month later!! As it was a present for someone, I went back to trusty Amazon and got it delivered the next day. It’s impossible to speak to anyone at Blackwells. You have to send a request, but that gets ignored too. Still in the process of trying to get my money back, but I’m not holding my breath.

Very pleased, came quicker than I anticipated. Dispatched 4/29/2021 arrived in my US mailbox 5/08/2021.

I thought I’d try Blackwells instead of… I thought I’d try Blackwells instead of the default buying from Amazon for a change. Ordered a book online 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received it. I’ve raised two support tickets and no response yet, a week later. The support/ customer help options are very limited, no phone line and no human response to raising a ticket. Frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately this experience leads me to reverting back to Amazon who put customer experience first and foremost. I’m not an Amazon fan and wanted to support other shops. Customers vote with their feet. Listen up Blackwells, shape up or suffer the same fate as many high street retailers.

Very happy. All three books I ordered are in stock even though one of them is quite rare. Book delivered very quickly. Excellent service.

Horrible delivery services. My order was supposed to be dispatched after 72 hours but ended up taking 8 days. My friend also ordered from the website and had the same experience, with her parcel arriving almost two weeks later, with one of the books missing. I highly recommend you buy your books elsewhere.

Tracking on the website doesn't work, and the book ordered as a birthday gift is terribly late. I don't recommend buying from them.

Ordered a book, money left my account, then 9 days later I get an email saying that my product won't be dispatched as the payment was declined. Only advice given was to order again, nothing about getting the money they've ALREADY TAKEN back. I've opened a query to get a refund but based on what I've seen here, I doubt they'll be any help. Don't bother supporting this business, feels an awful lot like a scam.

My order never arrived. Customer services replied once, falling to understand the problem if they had read the message I sent previously they would have understood. I tried to support an independent bookshop, and this is the thanks I get. I guess I will go back to Amazon at least they have got customer services how actually be can be bothered to their jobs.

I've previously bought from Blackwells and not had any major problems but I feel badly let down by the service I've received with my recent order and shall probably not order from them again. I bought a book which cost quite a bit of money, it took a week to despatch it, nearly as long to arrive and when I opened the package up the book was badly damaged with a very noticeable crease on the front cover. I'm trying to arrange a return for a replacement or a refund but the customer service is shocking. I've been waiting 48 hours for a response to a return request. Nobody should have to wait this long to organise a return when the customer is not at fault. And to make matters worse, this was securely packaged so it can't have been damaged in delivery and must have been sent out like this, so they obviously don't take any care about what they send out. I know we are in the midst of a pandemic but, even so, it shouldn't take as long as this to arrange a return. If they can't cope and run things properly, then they shouldn't be trading. You can't take people's money, supply them with damaged merchandise and not allow them to arrange a return within an adequate timeframe. So, my recommendation is, if you can, go elsewhere. You'll be tearing your hair out with frustration if something goes wrong and your book arrives not as you expect it to.

Ordered a book from here instead of Amazon with despatch time of 48 hours. Took over a week to despatch, there is no contact number and no way to track a delivery without an account! Definitely won't be ordering from Blackwells again. Avoid at all costs.

I order 14 books from the Loeb Classical Library from Blackwells online. I received 2 books in 2 individual parcels, and am still waiting for the other 12 books (value around GBP 250.00!) that were apparently dispatched on 12 January. In response to my second attempt at an email to customer services, I have today (8 March) been asked to wait a little longer due to delays caused by the pandemic. I am now waiting for 38 business days. If the books do not appear by 1 April, I shall demand a full refund. If they do appear, I shall revise my review here.
