“the information I learned is valuable & wish I had taken this many, many years ago, however it did not exist at that time. The study guide is very important, and should be incorporated into the course cost, so everyone receives it. It is a good reference, as no one is going to remember all the info provided during the course, however as a reference book, it can be on board the pleasure craft if needed.”

“There was helpful info in the course but it made me stay on the page for far too long wasting my time after I had already read the material. Perhaps the idea is to have a person forced to spend a certain number of hours on the course but it was so frustrating I just emailed people while I waited for it to time out. My time is precious and I could have been done in half the time.”

“Being able to do this at home at your own pace makes this course easy to use. Having the option to watch and hear the information or read and look at pictures also allows you to decide what is best for you. I was able to complete this course by taking very few notes and was satisfied with the final results! Thanks BOATsmart! for helping me get my pleasure craft license. Ernie”

“The information in each module was very well thought out. Some of the modules were a little long, but they covered everything in the final test. Some of the clips and images DID NOT work while I was going through the study guides. Also, in some of the audio clips, you could hear people walking around and the narrator saying "end clip" and talking after. Other than those minor things, the experience and lessons were very beneficial. Happy with the end result.”

“Yes I found course on two sectors a little hard on # 5 and 6 but got lots of knowledge from it and when got to actual test it was straight forward and common-sense But yes a very good course Thanks..”

“Many times the video did not load and many other times the video and next lesson timer did not connect. Sometimes I had to play twice to get to the next lesson.”

“There was a question in the exam about travelling in the channel that large ships are using. In the quiz it said that you stay to the right side of the channel but in the exam it did not even give this as an answer. Just a little bit confusing.”
