Great source material. Very detailed. Content relevant to government exam. Would prefer an option to go faster than required by timing in some modules. It does not show incorrect questions on module tests. My family would have liked to see what they got wrong.

The program was easy and awesome to follow along with the educational videos / audio / modules. Was able to study and do the PCOC test in one day (actually in 4 hours)!

It was very helpful, and for a majority of the time, it operated smoothly and with no technical difficulties. The individual intervals, were, in my opinion, very useful.

Waste of my time to be forced to spend a preset amount of time on each page when I can finish reading it in 1/3 the time. Some questions on the exam were not properly explained in the study material.

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback Matthew. We understand the test can take a while for some students, but the time requirements and quizzes are required by Transport Canada and NASBLA to ensure students of all reading levels are able to fully understand all content. The timed requirements are the same across all course providers, and we find many students prefer the convenience of completing the course from the comfort of home, rather than in a classroom setting. Thanks for sticking with it and safe boating!

Really love the videos and the auto text. The course literature was really easy to understand making the course material easier to stick. Course was excellent!! Thanks for all the hard work!!!!

I thought the course was well done. Some info was overkill/beyond what I need but it's still good to know.

The audio and video aspects were very helpful, and each lesson was clear. If there was a quiz question at the end of each lesson just to check understanding, that would be quite helpful!

Less than impressed. Part of my job is to train people so I have extensive experience in that field. I have been around boats my whole life so I also have a large amount of practical knowledge. I noted 3 questions that did not have the right multiple choice answers - not acceptable. The point of quiz questions should be to hit on the major topics to ensure basic understanding yet questions here were all over the place from being vaguely worded and interpretive to obscure factoids - poorly done. For example; Buoy questions were few and focused on meaningless detail instead of primary concepts. There were only a couple of right-of-way questions yet I see this as one of the biggest issues on the water. The program gave a lot of good information but the affiliated questions were sloppy and unfocused - not acceptable considering this is the main product they sell. There is a constant complaint about not being able to see the questions that were missed. This is the main point of training; to identify and fill in areas of knowledge that didn't stick, not keep it as a secret gotcha. The testing section is poorly done all around.

Excellent course. One suggestion would be to make known the questions that were marked as wrong. This would help the exam taker to correct her/his mistakes. Thank you!

When completing the practice tests at the end of each module and the overall practice test, the participant should be able to review the questions to see what they answered incorrectly. I couldn’t find a way to do that.

Very informative and helpful, however the timed period required on each subject made the course twice as long as it needed to be.

Way too long. Says it is only 50 questions, that is just the final exam review at the end. You have to pass 6 modules with approx. 17 - 23 sections first. Each of the 6 modules has 10 questions, pass with 80 or relisten to the entire module again to retake before you go on to the next. Then their is the fact that the reading part says one number and when the audio part says another number in 2-3 places. The word aground is spelled wrong on a question in that run aground module. The one nice thing was the cost of this was less than the other one online but for both my wife and I who took the test simultaneously on the computer and a cell phone, it took 5 hours, way too long.

TIme limits drag the course out to an excessive time. While they may be required to avoid people just guessing their way through, they are annoying for those who read and absorb material at a reasonable pace. The answer to question in module 1 which asks about exemptions to requirement for who requires certification is incorrect. Your own course material states that people from out of the country do not require local certification in their own boats, but the only choice which is given which is a possible correct answer is " There are no exemptions" This is contrary to the course material.
