“Contained all information required to pass the test however, the minimum wait times on each lesson are very long. I could easily read all of the content in 1/4 of the time and then just say around waiting for the timer to elapse”

“Very straight-forward, effective course; but it was pretty boring. I would have liked to laugh a few times from a corny joke or something, you know? Also, I used the audio option whenever it was available, but it wasn't always available, and sometimes only read half of the page. Just a small thing.”

“I loved the BOATsmart course! It was easy to complete and I learned a few things! Thank you. I have a jealous friend who took the same course at the Coast Guard station, one day a week for 8 weeks! It cost her a whole lot more too. Thank you for having this service. I’ve told all my boating friends!”

“Good format. Option to have it read along in non-robotic voice is great. Plenty of pictures. Bullets and subtitles make it easy to read”

“I like the course. It was informative and will give a reference point. The only negative is the timeliness of getting your card. I am now sitting with a temporary card with 1 day left on the temporary card. I guess no more fishing for a while.”

“The course material was good but I found the timer annoying. Not being able to move on and being forced to wait for the timer once I had read and understood the information became a distraction from the focus of what I was doing.”

“Covered all of the details which was helpful. However, I am a quick reader and having to wait for the clock tick down to flip to the next page was a real waste of my time - i could have been done much earlier and still got the same content out of it- that's my only negative about it.”
