“The course definitely more than prepared me for the Transport Canada exam, and had good safety tips. The study guide was also well laid out and will make good reference material for the future. One thing that annoyed me was that it took much longer than 3 hours due to the way the videos and queuing was set up. Sometimes I had to spend 30 seconds or more on a page after the video had ended. Additionally, I wish the video modules had been longer. I would prefer to click the next button every 5 minutes or so as opposed to every 30 seconds to one minute.”

“I could do the course on my own time, at my own pace at home. Since there is no place for any other feedback I will provide it hear. The thing I dislike the most about this course was that the timer was often longer than the amount of time necessary to complete the video or read it yourself. The video would start for a second time before you could advance to the next slide. Time is valuable and that was a waste of my time. You need to decrease the time limits for your videos.”

“The BOATsmart licensing program for new boaters met my expectations fully, it took a solid 5 hrs and was well worth the education I recieved for my time and certainly well worth the fees paid for the on-line course. Steve MacDonald - Orangeville ON”

“I live in Alabama, and they don't have an Alabama test but I was told that Alabama recognizes Mississippi boat license. So I took boatsmart mississippi coarse. Their were 5 modules before the actual test and each module has several videos to watch and it took half the day to get them all completed. So It took me pretty much all day just to get to the actual test. I was ready for bed by that time so I waited til the next day to take the test. The test took about an hour and fifteen minutes and was open book so I passed with an 86 average. Overall I'm happy with my experience but now I hope I have no issues since I live in Alabama with a mississippi license. Time will tell and I will return and write a review if I have any issues. ?????????”

“The reason why i sign up to get my boaters license... because of my boyfriend lazy attitude to watch all the videos so i decided to watch all the videos and take notes to help him along the way. I will be honest some of the videos contents was long but I hang in there to help him very informative. I'm happy that i'm finished lol after failing twice Great course i will recommend Boatsmart course to everyone...”

“I did enjoy the fact that there were videos involved in the on line course. The fact that I was never told which answers were incorrect were frustrating. Since I was never aware of which answers were wrong, I continued to think they are right and I am sure these are the ones that I got wrong on the exam. Not knowing which ones they were, I still believe they are correct.”
