The content was OK at best. The animations and sound effects are fairly poor by modern online course standards, not to mention most of the videos did not work (I am guessing you are still using a SCORM file with some outdated flash plugins, or bad YouTube links? This is an easy fix if you are using a course builder like Captivate etc.) and the voice over could have been recorded better. However, very convenient to complete, not difficult content, got my licence in just under 4hrs. Sweet!

I have never received more emails in such a short period of time from any company.....so if that’s important to you then this is your course. It takes forever and some of the videos are done playing but you have to wait till their timer runs out. Content was good, but took so long to finish.

Make all the videos in each module together rather than having 50 minute long videos

Too much focus on rules and regulations applicable to coastal waters, which took away from the time i would rather have spent on inland waters.

I wasn't so happy. It was rough getting into the program. It took me to Pay Pal then it was hard getting back into the program, it didn't tell me I had to go to my email to get a code. When I was taking the quizzes at the end of the chapter I had NO idea which questions I had wrong. I had ideas which ones I missed but It had me a bit worried when I took the final since I was basically guessing. It was a very long long course. My friend was taking one at the same time from a different company and it had shown her the right answers and she had started an hour after me but I had to retake one chapter.

It would have been nice to retake the test without doing the modules all over again. I got 7/10 for one, with one mistake and had to redo almost an hour of a module. You should at least have the option to redo the test for a single retry before forcing a retake of the module. The other is that the timer doesn't correspond to your videos. I found myself waiting for the timer to finish after the video was done. Not sure if I'd recommend you to guys to others for these reasons.

Crashed many times on my I pad. Did not tell me whicch answers were wrong so could not focus on weak areas, frustrating experience.

Rather not have to rewatch content if I fail a quiz that doesn’t matter. Also on quiz would be nice to know which answers I got wrong

I have Aspergers Which is a form of autism and my processing skills are not as quick as others so the amount of time was very difficult for me to get through without the assistance of my mother rewording the questions for me to understand. More pictures and to make the test more visually helpful for people with autism would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Nicholas Bond

I got it done. I did learn a few things which always makes me happy. I had to repeat some of the lessons 3-4x because it would not recognize that I had actually completed them so it took much longer than it needed to. A bit too many bureaucratic questions...regulations you can look up if it applies to you. The practical stuff was much more helpful. PS I noted that you did not ask how to improve the course that did not make me happy so I am adding these comments here. If you want credibility you need to ask for the good and bad. Happy AND Sad if you are using unusual terminology.

having to spend "x" amount of time on each slide is very frustrating, I'd prefer to see a total time that needs to be spent on a chapter so that I can actually read through at my own pace.

Please do not have the videos on auto replay very frustrating to go to next video, if you just only fail the module quiz you should be able to get another try without watching everything over again

The course was long but good - the thing that I didn't like was it advertised that it was the test AND the card. "No additional fees" - just for my kids to complete the test and we are then prompted to pay $10 to get the card for our state. I would have taken the free test and not paid $24.99.
