Was pretty repetitive at times and quite boring and the modules are far longer then they need to be

I don’t think you should have to review a whole module again if you receive a 70 percent on a quiz. You should allow one more chance to complete another quiz. It is very time consuming and most things are common sense.

I opted not to listen to the program but just read it for myself and I would have liked to have been able to move to the next lesson long before the prompt allowed. I think I would have been done in half the time!!!

The content was decent but made longer than should be necessary. The big problem with that os that the time allotted per session was often much longer than required to read and understand. Often the video would finish and restart well before you were allowed to move to next session. Very annoying due to how often that happened. Also on the technical side, I had to re-login several times even though I was actively following the course. When this happened I would have to redo the section I just completed. Finally, I was interested in which question I had wrong but couldn't quickly find a way to see what was wrong. That is very important to ensure there are no misunderstandings.

I found the content on the actual test not accurately representing the content in the actual course. I also found a lot of the test questions very specific to things that I didn't necessarily pay close attention to as I expected the course to be a bit more broad and cover more things that would pertain to someone like me who's never driven a boat before.

Takes way too long to complete and much of the information is not applicable to my situation.

Although very informative it is longer than 3 hours. It took me an entire weekend to complete. I think you should be able to advance forward and if you fail a section you should be able to write the quiz right away without having to start the module again. Very time consuming

This course took me 7 hours I bought the book then had to go through all the training sheets and could not skip them so it was double my time . Also I'm not sure how a 12 to 14 year old boy will understand this test .

The Ministry's final exam asked a few questions that I did not feel were adequately covered by the course material, but given that it's an open-book/google exam, it was easy enough to find the right answers. I was frustrated by the fact that you can't copy/paste as you go through the modules, making it way harder than it needs to be to take notes. I understand that the module timers are government-mandated the first time you take the module, but being forced to stick to these timers on a second round, makes no sense at all, and BoatSmart should get the ministry to agree to remove the restriction if a person is re-taking a module. Some of the wording on the module quizzes are not consistent with the wording in the modules themselves, which can lead to confusion. All in all, it's better than doing a course and exam in-person, but it's not perfect by any means.

It was easy to do, but very very very long. Should be shortened. Also, 80% should not be the “passing” grade. I thought that was a little high.

Say goodbye to 5 hours of your life. It's very thorough but I'm not asking for U.S. citizenship here, I merely want to drive a seadoo on some water.

I don't like how each section within a module is timed, and much of the content contained in the modules is irrelevant to the final test.

It was frustrating trying to get through it with all the 'ads' crowding the course. They were very distracting and slowed down my responses. It was also way too time consuming of a course when most of it wasn't even on the test. Our power went off for a bit and that also slowed down the process. Although it was informative, there was too much repetative information. Some of the courses could not open so I had to go to the utube version, which also took up extra time. I am also unable to download the temporary card from the website.

I did like the layout of the course and exam, the only downfall was to my knowledge the $50.00 covered the 50 question exam only and I had studied well in advance so having to go through the lengthy course was a huge waste of time and very repetitive. It should be advertised to all that are wanting to take the exam that it is now a course/exam so every knows that it has changed from going into a sports store to do a written exam.

I think that if you got an 70% on the manuals you can get a retake on the test
