“Test and material were excellent. The font was a bit too small when using a tablet or a phone.”

“Easy to navigate and access, the dashboard screen was a great visual to reflect After I paid I wasn't quite sure where to go... More importantly - the animated characters depicted in the videos are not diverse and do not represent to the rich diversity of Ontario and Canada. Given this, there is a lot of implied bias (e.g., only white people boat, only white people have the financial resources to boat, new comers do not boat). This may not be intentional, but should be addressed.”

“An extensive yet user friendly course. It was a lot of information at once but the unbelievable part was how much I retained of it for the final exam! Explained well & videos were a plus! 😊”

“I purchased the book, read through it twice and then had to go through all of the same information online before I could write the exam. It was 4 1/2 hours I will never get back!!! Very disappointed.”

“Well done training modules. I would prefer to know what answers were incorrect for the module quizzes - it helps you learn. Need to fix some spelling errors on module 4, lesson 3.”

“Found it very enlightening. Common sense prevails but some points were just so informative i.e. I am a retired RPN and did not know that when dealing with hypothermia you should not massage a victim thinking you would help with increasing their core temperature. The course to me at first seemed daunting with so much information in the modules but as I went along things fell into place. I think anyone spending significant time on the water should take the course to have a good sense of safety and enjoyment in their quest for fun and being on the beautiful waterways of Ontario.”

“Lots of good information. Would have liked to be able to scan some portions and move on quicker. It would also help to review the wrong answers on the quizzes to ensure I absorbed the correct information.”
