“Great learning experience, took longer than I wanted but in the end I’m happy with the results”

“I read the book thru passed the practise test and then went on line and had to do the same thing all over so I could get the test done. I wasted an entire afternoon and evening trying to write the test. I would liked to have been able to buy the course and to challenge the test. Instead I had to do it all over again. Other than that problem the info gained reading and doing practise quiz’s was worth while”

“Boated for decades, took honeymoon 30 years ago on a 40' Houseboat. Terrible at taking tests, I mean literally "Brain Dead". Waited almost 20 years to write the exam, although in 2009, I could have walked into a tent and walked out with my PCO Card in 20 minutes, like the rest of our clan. I found the tests/exam a lot harder than I thought. Was "SURPRISED" at a 96%, as I was prepared to accept a "FAIL". I read the Study Guide "Twice", took all the practice tests I could find, then picked BOATSmartExam.com - BEST DECISION EVER !”

“I would think that you should always try to give boaters as much info as possible i.e. I .passed the test with 6 wrong answers as a consciences boater I would like to know which answers I had wrong so I am aware of my mistakes”

“Quite a few of the questions in the modules refer to which law or code is applicable, rather than dealing with more practical matters. I would like to point out I am 66 years old, I bought a 10' inflatable with a 4hp motor just to take up fishing. To spend 10 hours doing this course seems over kill for my application.”

“A lot of the content was catered to larger boats which i would never use and the wait time between slides is to long because i’d finnish reading and still have to wait 30seconds. Also a lot of the meterial was common sense”

“Some repetitive information and no need to know which law governs certain violations just that it is illegal would suffice. Knowing which questions are wrong and the correct answer would help in the learning and not leave us in the dark about what we didn't know and need to correct”

“Quiz and course are way harder than they need to be. Took me 5 hours of course work for a 15 min easy federal test. Wastes so much time.”

“It really sucks that we cannot see the correct quiz answers so that we can learn from our mistakes.... or at least let us know which questions were wrong so we can figure out the right answer For the future. Other than that everything is well done!”
