“This course took me 7 hours I bought the book then had to go through all the training sheets and could not skip them so it was double my time . Also I'm not sure how a 12 to 14 year old boy will understand this test .”

“My fiancé and neighbour out at the cabin have been on me for getting my boating licence for the past year. Well, I finally decided to buckle down and get it done yesterday. I was very surprised at the ease of the modules and quizzes. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for get their license relatively quickly. I completed it all in less than 10 hours from start to finish from my cell phone going at my own pace. Would have been finished sooner but I still wanted to enjoy my Saturday afternoon!”

“Easy, straightforward course! Was well-prepared for the exam. Some of the lessons had mandatory times much longer than needed to read and understand the content but overall, well-structured.”

“Learned some things I didn't know previously. Much content relevant only to sizes or types of boats I will never own...have you considered logic that branches to show only what applies to the boat i own? I know that would make the whole process more complex but it might help people remember the things that pertain to their own boat better”

“took me 8 hours from start to finish. there were parts I already knew and would like to have skipped but was forced to do the read. other than that it was very easy to understand. good training”

“The course was designed to make you learn - and I learned a lot! I made 96 percent which is great but I would really like to know which two questions I got wrong. It’s too bad we can’t get this feedback.”

“The modules had some non boat related info and the audio was painfully monotoned. But it did supply loads of info on everything very pleased with boatsmart.”

“very good course. simple to follow and covered almost all the questions in the exam. there were 3 questions in the exam that were not covered by the course but I was able to ascertain the right answer from knowing what was not correct. I.E. what does a November Charlie flag signify”

“I appreciated the online availability. I am a busy person and it was great to return to my Boatsmart studies when it was convenient. Great instructional videos also helped me to memorize the rules and regulations. I have shared your link on my facebook page, recommending it to some friend I know would be interested. “This was a very good program, and I'm happy to have passed the test first try! Customer service was great when I lost the code. If I have one suggestion it would be to inform the student which of the quiz questions were answered incorrectly. (I still don't know what I don't know.)”
